Worked really well for our stay, love that we were close to Lake Michigan, and in a vibrant neighborhood. Surprisingly quiet street too, which was great.

The stay was a great experience, the home was very clean and easy to find. The location is great, far enough away from the main city yet close enough to do anything you want. Many shops, restaurants ans stores close by. I would recommend this property to anyone. It was a great place to stay. Couldn't be happier with the experience.

Excellent location for all of the activities we had planned. The house was exactly as advertised and the snacks were yummy. It was very clean the host was very responsive when I had a question. The only negatives were the lock box was a challenge to open and the kitchen didn't have paper towels, but other than that would highly recommend to people looking for a city get-a-way weekend trip!

This was one of the best VRBOs we've stayed in. (Disappointed that we didn't discover it before our daughter graduated.) Spacious and clean and convenient to Loyola and Northwestern. Availability of garage parking spot was great!

We enjoyed staying at The Artist’s Haven for our weeklong stay in Chicago. The apartment was larger than it appeared from the pictures and was well appointed with everything we needed. The art throughout the apartment was not only nice to look at but gave the apartment more of a home-like feel. The owners had great communication with all our needs and questions. We would stay again!

Good place to stay

The house was quiet, clean, and a great location. We loved the complementary food and drinks. We also loved the short walk to the bus station to get to down town.

We had a great stay. Everything was clean, the communication from the host was outstanding. We felt at home in this place and we could walk everywhere we needed to go. We would love to stay here again.

What a lovely place! Sunny, warm, and very comfortable. The beds were great, and the kitchen nicely appointment.The location (halfway between Loyola and Northwestern) was perfect for us, and the welcome and instructions from the host were timely and helpful.Next trip to Chicago, this is my destination.

Great Getaway!!

We had an amazing stay! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything we needed. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in the Artist’s Haven! The location is outstanding. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood yet within walking distance of public transportation and a variety of restaurants. Most importantly, after a full day in Chicago, the apartment was a lovely place to return to rest and relax. The hosts are very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location, walkable to restaurants and conveniences. Everything you’d need and more! Also great for someone who works remote, space to not disturb sleeping others. The added benefit of garage space is really helpful.

Beautiful apartment. Very clean. Great art work and very comfortable furniture. Host was extremely easy to contact. Probably should have a light outside entrance door. I did use light on my phone to see key lock. Also since we needed to use living room pull out couch, side windows did not have blinds. When Sun started coming up, so did person on couch. Three older women for the weekend. Since we really did not know where it was located to downtown, it took us a bit getting used to but certainly not fault of host. Took red line to downtown and Lyft or uber home at night. Otherwise fantastic stay. Thank you.

Well kept, spotless and relaxed

This two bedroom second floor apartment was comfortable and meticulously clean. The kitchen cabinets were well labeled and with the exception of a sticky front door everything functioned beautifully. The snacks encompassed most dietary limitations. We had no trouble parking on the street but a rental garage is available with the unit. The neighborhood was safe and perfectly located for our needs. There is an L stop was nearby. Host was promptly available via the VRBO platform. I would happily stay here again as would my husband.

Property was very nice. The stairs going up to the room were somewhat steep and difficult to maneuver with our luggage. Older adults may have some difficulty with these. Our Dodge Ram would not fit into garage but we were able to find parking close by and just ended up taking a lift daily as all our activities were downtown. Doors were a little tricky to lock and unlock until you got use to them. The property inside was very clean and had everything we needed. All information regarding the property was given to us and was very clear. Host reached out from time to see if things were going well.
