The house was easy to find, in a great, quiet area close to shops and restaurants. The house is bigger than it seems in photos. We loved the coffee and tea bar, especially all the syrups! All of the beds in the upstairs rooms were great. The house is so quiet and we all slept well. A trip to Richmond was easy and didn’t take too long. I would recommend and we would definitely stay here again.

We were in Richmond to attend an event in Midlothian. The house was absolutely perfect! There was plenty of space and the hosts provided snacks and coffee (including a wide variety of coffee flavor syrups). The house was also very clean and well kept. It was too hot to use the hot tub or the screened in porch - but come Fall or Spring - that would be a great place to stay put and play cards. (There were a ton of games and the kid's room with the bunk beds was filled with toys!) Host was always responsive. Nice quiet neighborhood not far from stores etc. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect for our 3-generation family group of 6! We loved the den/game room and all the board games, enjoyed the hot tub and cooked all our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. We all loved the coffee bar and the Christmas tree was a festive touch. Dorothy was a great hostess and even provided wrapping paper for last-minute gift wrapping. Would definitely stay there again!

Our stay at the Black Cay House couldn’t have been any better. Dorothy went above the norm with snacks, candy, the coffee bar, and even a Christmas tree. The attention to detail was evident. She was also very responsive. We will stay here again.

Great Home in Midlothian

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Not only did the pictures match what's online, the host also provided lots of little touches to ensure we have a comfortable stay. It's great for adults/children. There is everything you need for a long or short stay. 10 out of 10!

This house did not feel like a rental, it felt like a home. Kitchen well stocked and organized, house very clean and we appreciated the attention to detail. The backyard is so fun -open space, yard games. Dorothy always responded promptly and was very accommodating to our family’s schedule. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect for my family!!! We went for my grand son's college graduation in Newport. Easy check in , rooms were clean, my grand daughter enjoyed all the Barbie toys, everything you need is available, great communication with owner. Most of all the house is close to my daughter's house. We did not have the pleasure of using the hot tub just did not have enough time . Overall, perfect for my family

Some of the details that sold us on the listing could have been nicer, like the fussball table (almost falling over) and backyard (mostly dirt). But we enjoyed our stay and it was well suited for our large group.
