Amazing home....beautiful, well maintained, clean, and far surpassed our expectations! The tree house was such a cool feature and the outdoor space was incredible. Check in was super easy and there was plenty of space for our our group of 11. Great location, close by everything we wanted to do while in Cambria! I would love to stay here again sometime.

House of Joy was truly Joyful!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was perfectly cleaned. So many different and eclectic hang out spots. The treehouse and outdoor living room were so cool! We had a bachelorette weekend here and it was perfect. Hot tub and cornhole were fun. The outdoor seating and table were a great breakfast and lunch hand out. Went into town for a wonderful dinner at Robyn. Hiked along the coast so beautiful. All the beds were super comfy and nice bedding. We loved it - so uch Joy!

A great property for large, extended and/ or multigenerational families to gather. Large outdoor area for family members to come together round a fire pit to share stories and play. Individual sleeping area in tree house and cottage provide private spaces to retreat and recover if/when family interaction gets too overwhelming. Quiet neighborhood, clean rooms. Lots of parking space.

Plenty of space, comfy beds and thoughtful amenities. Outdoor space is wonderful! Really the only complaint was the barking dog next door barked all day, so it was annoying when we were enjoying the outdoor space.

The House of Joy was perfect for our big family vacation! The pictures of the outside areas don’t do the space justice. Our youngsters were able to run around outside in the fenced yards without having to worry. The bunk room was perfect for the kids and the adults were all very comfortable. We did use the hot tub and it was in great working order. The kitchen is lovely but may not have everything you need. The only thing this house doesn’t have is an ocean view but the other amenities more than made up for the fact that we had to drive five minutes to get to water. We loved this house so much we’ve already booked it for next year!

This house and space are excellent for a family gathering. Fine touches throughout the property. Outdoor space is amazing for kids and adults alike. Lots of nooks for entertainment. We had a great time. There are several options for making coffee, but there was no coffee pods or ground coffee. There was a note to enjoy the wine as a gift, but there was no wine. Many of the TV remotes do not work or the batteries were dead. In particular, we could not make the outdoor TV on the porch work at all. Outdoor space was unkept and dusty and lots of spider webs when we arrived, and we had to spend some time to clean ourselves before enjoying, but to be fair, it was the day after some rain. Lots of ants in the kitchen so watch out to not leave food out on the counter. Overall a fun experience for our family gathering.

Rooms are clean & orderly with nice & good lighting The host is very friendly & respond to our concerns no long waitingHot tub is ok. Adults didn’t get to use it but the kids did & they enjoyed itKitchen is nice, clean & it has almost everything we need except for paper towel that I hv to call & someone came to deliver a roll. The bath room drain next to the living room drains very slow. Otherwise all else are a joy to enjoy.

House of Joy

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The House of Joy is exactly that! There are so many spaces to enjoy inside and outside. The Treehouse, Cottage, and outside patio were pure rustic charm. A full bath is accessible outside as well as a fridge, BBQ, coffee, etc. A TV room enclosed in a zipped canvas with comfy seating was well used! The Hot tub was wonderful. The inside house includes everything to meet your needs. The bathrooms and kitchen are of great quality with various areas for activities. All of the mattresses are excellent. This plan was very intentional to make a fun and cozy getaway for all generations. Our family group of girls loved it!!
