This barn was a great choice for my wife and I getaway. Starting with the beautiful views of the hill country and ending with the owner helping us stay longer due to the weather. We have zero complaints and endless compliments. If we can give 10 stars we would. We want to thank the owner for helping us stay longer due to the weather. She was very attentive and caring. If a getaway is what you need do not think twice about this barn. Great touch from them as well leaving us groceries for us to cook breakfast in the fridge. The nature is fantastic!!! You will love the birds chirping and the deers in the morning passing close to the barn. Definitely will come back many times!!!

This was a last minute booking for us and it was perfect. Off the grid, quiet and peaceful. Pretty, winding drive to Fredricksburg was just close enough. We enjoyed the cabin with all the amenities we needed - even breakfast to get our day started. Spent time on the porch with our coffee in the morning and star gazing at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet relaxing stay at the barn!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and the area was quiet and peaceful! The country breakfast was such a nice treat!

Great secluded cabin

We loved this little cabin. It was perfect for our weekend getaway, we really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub, soft bed, and that there was breakfast to cook in the fridge for us.

Beautiful quiet location.

Perfect location and wonderful accommodations! Sitting on rockers with breakfast was perfect. At night looking at the star lit sky was a wonderful end to the day.

We enjoyed the National Park which was great walking and exercise for us to go and listen to the birds and more. we enjoyed the Hot/Jet Tub. It rained frequently but was not too muddy. But did make the weather temp awesome. did not need much a/c with windows open to enjoy cooler air The bed was comfortable and the sheets were very smooth. Very nice touch to have breakfast foods in refrig upon arrival. Plenty of supplies: bath towels, dog towels, muddy feet towels, Only issues: as a property manager by trade, I did notice that the oven smoked when we used it The kitchen faucet leaks at handle base I do recommend a commercial outdoor/indoor entrance mat to place dog water/food on since dog water does not always stay inside the bowl… we set a towel down to help with this and always (at home too) wipe dog face after drinking.

Anniversary Getaway

Peaceful, Quiet, Comfy

The Barn was perfect for our long weekend in the Hill Country- just outside of Fredericksburg but close to all the local attractions. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed; there were plenty of towels and linens, and sitting on the front porch was a treat in the mornings and evenings. Definitely recommend for a couple's getaway!

Beautiful Location!!

This property is well maintained and the location is beautiful. It is close to Fredericksburg, the bat caves, and a well known burger place within walking distance! We will definitely be back.
