Charming beachfront Gulf Shores Vacation Rental beach house with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Lana's Magnolia Landing, is located in laid-back West Beach area of Gulf Shores, just a few hundred yards from Lagoon Pass. Quiet beach, relaxing home, just minutes from restaurants, shops and attractions. Welcome to Lana's Magnolia Landing !

Enjoy modern traditional coastal beach house decor complete with updated kitchen and baths. Comfortable new furnishings so make yourself at home. Wonderful beachfront porch complete with lounge chairs to enjoy the views and sounds of the ocean. Just walk down the porch steps and there you are!

On the first floor, in addition to the living and dining areas and kitchen, you'll find 2 bed rooms. 1st room queen and twin. 2nd room, king bedroom, a bunk Beds, and a full bath. Upstairs in the master suite, a king bed and another full bath. The living room at Lana's Magnolia Landing, has wonderful views, comfortable seating and a flat-screen television. There is room for everyone to eat together.

Outside we have a grill, picnic table and hammock plus a few beach chairs and sand toys for you to enjoy. Walk over to Lagoon Pass to enjoy watching the heron and pelicans as the fish swim in and out with the tides. Great fishing and hermit crab hunting for the little ones.

Gulf Shores is extremely family friendly and laid back. Enjoy the beach, fishing and boating. We have wonderful fresh local seafood and an array of good restaurants.

Gulf Shores has 9 signature golf courses within 20 minutes, including Kiva Dunes, the top course in the state. Local amusements include Waterville USA, several putt-putt and go-cart locations, The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo (subject of The Animal Planet television series The Little Zoo That Could) and more. There are two historic pre-civil war forts (Forts Morgan and Gaines) plus the National Naval Air Museum and home of the Blue Angels in nearby Pensacola. Eight miles north you'll find a large outlet mall complete with Ralph Lauren, Coach, Nike, Juicy Couture and more.

While there are lots of things to do, we think your favorite may be just to relax on the beach and let loose, with family, friends, or even your significant other.

This place was perfect for our family vacation. It was exactly what we were wanting for our first time at Gulf Shores. Right on the beach! We will definitely stay here again!

Great house

We had a great experience staying here. The house was even better than the pictures! It was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. We couldn’t get the internet to work but the host tried to help but we still couldn’t get it to work. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful, relaxing stay at the beach. Could have used a bit more information about the house- WiFi password, appliance and water/electricity quirks and general helpful information. But we are a chill, low maintenance family who really just came for the ocean and the sun. It worked fine for us. Easy check-in and out were appreciated. The property and location were just what we needed- met all our needs very well.

Beautiful view, bad property management

My family and I vacation at Gulf shores every year, we arrived on Monday around 7 pm. The kitchen was dirty and the outside trash was full. I called the host contact on vrbo 3 times it did not ring and no one called back. There is no hammock, there is no wifi either. You have to literly constantly reset it in every room multiple times a day. To come in when its hot after the beach or at night and want to relax and watch movies or use your phone its a no. The view is beautiful thats about it.

DO NOT STAY HERE – BAT INFESTATION & HEALTH HAZARD

This home is unsafe and uninhabitable. Upon arrival, we found overflowing garbage infested with maggots, a strong ammonia odor inside, and later confirmed a bat infestation (I witnessed over 15 bats exiting the roof). Our belongings were covered in bat droppings, and mouse feces were found in the kitchen cabinets.An exterminator sent by the owners confirmed the bat infestation but explained nothing could be done in the short term due to bats being a protected species this time of year, and removal would not address the urine, droppings, or contaminated air already present. After that, the owners became unresponsive.We had to leave early for the health and safety of our family and pets and secure alternative accommodations at our own expense. This property should not be listed until it undergoes professional remediation.

The area that appears wet on the ceiling tile is where the bat urine had accumulated and where the strong ammonia smell came from.

The top roof line of the home is where I personally witnessed about 15 bats exiting the house on the evening of the 2nd night of our stay.

Family First

Had a great stay at the residence. The property was just as described online. Great access to the beach. We all slept well and enjoyed the amenities included. We would gladly book this property in the future.

Cozy Beach Home

Loved the property. Was right on the beach and sitting on the back deck was so awesome. Listening to the ocean was so relaxing. At night it was so peaceful just sitting back and listening to the waves crash on the beach. The house is very roomy and comfortable. We did have issues with folks using the walkway from the house to the beach. They apparently don’t read the many signs that state it is not a beach access. Other than that our time was spent relaxing.

Great Location!

Loved our stay at the beach house! Great views of the beach and dolphins was also super close to the lagoon for calm swimming and fishing. Host was quick to respond to concerns during our stay. My only complaints are small. I wish there was a little more information up front about the location, provided amenities, etc.

This place was so amazing! Immaculate! Communication was great! Lauren, the host, answered any questions like in minutes. Location was the best. The little extra things were noticed & it made our trip so enjoyable & comfortable. I’m a beach front house snob & this place hit all of my expectations!

Beautiful as always

We love coming back here. The views alone and the beach access are entirely worth it. The kids have more freedom here than they ever did in a condo, and the location is unmatched. We love spending mornings and evenings on the large porch overlooking the sea. It’s relatively quiet, even with neighbors on either side, which is an added bonus. We will continue to return as long as we’re allowed. Thank you again, for another beautiful stay, and another year of memories made.

Great location

You can’t argue with the location of this property. Direct beach access and a short walk to the little lagoon. The home is a bit dated, but sufficient for a beach property vacation. The back door slider is extremely difficult to open and close. Needs to be addressed. The property manager was easy to work with. Easy check in and check out.

Beach life for a week

We absolutely loved our stay. You cannot beat this location! The house is cute and beds were comfortable. Water pressure in showers good! The house was clean to the naked eye but little things like vents that looked pretty gross and clothes that weren’t ours under bed were a turn off. We had to clean more than a few dishes that still had stuff on them. Still the view and beach steps away tops it all. We did have trouble with people from condos behind cutting through. We would tell them it is private property and they are not to use it. Laura was quick to get back with me which I appreciated!

Perfect Beach House

Loved everything about this rental, house is decorated super cute and location on the beach could not have been better. Far enough from public access points to ensure never crowded on beach in front of house. Lots of beach toys was a plus and dedicated ice maker was really great touch for a beach rental. Owner was very good with communication. Two recommendations to make it even more stellar - a larger Weber grill and upgrade on the WiFi. Was a bummer that WiFi didn’t reach living room, so college kids taking online class had to sit in back bedrooms to get a signal.

Perfect for Beach Getaway Girls Trip!

We had an amazing time at Lana's Magnolia Landing beach house. This trip was a gift for my daughter who just graduated from HS. We drove down from Missouri and stayed for a week. PROS: Too many to list! Roomy and beautifully decorated. Felt right at home the minute we walked in. Plenty of dishes and utensils with modern appliances. The listing said there was only one bathroom, but in fact there are two, which was a big plus! Washer and dryer worked great. House is steps away from a private beach, so it was never crowded or noisy. Close to all sorts of restaurants and shops, so you never have to drive far to find something fun! CONS: Listing said no pets allowed, but there was an odor of dog urine on the stairs leading to upper bedroom and in the upper bedroom, especially if it got warm in the house. Not bad enough for us to complain, but it was noticeable at times. There was also a drawer full of dog toys in one of the storage bins, so perhaps at one time pets were allowed. Even though it is a private beach for the houses in the immediate area, there were quite a few people walking over from the condos across the street and using our driveway and the path next to our house to get to the beach. One evening when we returned from being out all day, someone had turned our outdoor shower on and left it running. All in all, we had a wonderful time here, and our host, Lana, was very pleasant and responsive to any questions we had. We look forward to returning again soon!

Great location & close to the beach!

This house has great views, the beach is out the back door and great location to all things in Gulf Shores. If you like a cold master bedroom (like us), bring a fan. Communication with the owner was easy and quick responding. We would love to stay there again!

The most relaxing stay and view

We spent a beautiful week on this property, and are already missing it. The view and location were beyond perfect. We spent a lot of our time on the back porch overlooking the beach and sea, as well as on the beach. We’ve decided we won’t ever again settle for a condo after this experience and we definitely plan on coming back. Thank you for allowing us to spend some time in your beautiful home on an incredible beach. Above and beyond communications, as well. It was truly everything we could’ve asked for and more.
