It’s like Kelsey and Logan thought of a wish list for things you’d want at a get away home - and then opened up their doors. This beautiful home has everything you could want, and more! Fans, pop corn, games, delicious welcome treats, all the kitchen utensils one needs… they have it. This place is great for just a few, or for a larger group.

The home was beautiful. The interior decor was amazing, they have done a phenomenal job decorating the home. The deck was my favorite place to hang out, beautiful views and deer would come out and graze in the evening. They thought about everything, I forgot my toothbrush and they had one there for me. Thank you for sharing your home with our family. My wife and I own a rental property in Tennessee. As fellow overnight rental owners we were impressed with their attention to all details for their guests. Thank you guys.

Our whole family had a fantastic stay! The house was very clean, beds comfy, well stocked with everything that was needed and then some. Plenty of fun things to do in the house and outside with games, exploring the beautiful gardens, enjoying views, watching hummingbirds, sitting next to the beautiful pond while listening to the relaxing waterfall. Hosts were quick to respond and they left us some yummy goodies upon our arrival. We look forward to returning.

Everything about our stay at the Rough & Ready Ranch Retreat was wonderful. Thoughtful touches everywhere. The decor had a fun cowboy country style. The property was beautiful and the sunsets out over the Sacramento Valley were unbelievable. Location is close to a lot of California and local history. The hosts were attentive and made a great effort to ensure we had a good stay. Would recommend a vacation here and would love to come back.

Our host, Kelsey, made us feel at home with a warm welcome, tour of the property, home made cookies , wine and locally made sweets.The home was immaculate and tastefully decorated in rustic sierra foothills cowboy theme. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare food and serve a large group. We enjoyed many meals seated at a lovely large dining table that can seat 12 people.Our family of 6 adults and 2 four- year-olds were very comfortable throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms well stocked. The laundry facilities were excellent.We also enjoyed bbqs and relaxing on the deck (with fire pit at night) with incredible views of the sierra foothills.The location was conveniently located within an hour of snow activities, Yuba River, lakes, parks, hiking. There is an on-site garden with fruit trees and veggies to pick in season.We look forward to staying at the Rough and Ready retreat again.Thank you, Kelsey, for a wonderful family retreat experience.

I really can’t say enough great things about this place!We needed a home between selling and moving into our new place, and this spot was perfect. Dog friendly (when your dog is not miniature) isn’t always easy to find! The hosts were easy to connect with and extremely helpful!
