A very spacious and well appointed house with a great kitchen and large living room, and a fantastic back patio with tons of seating, views, two fire pits. The clean and beautiful home was central to Morro Bay, Avila Beach, 5 Cities, Atascadero, in a very quiet neighborhood. Host's communication was fast, friendly, excellent. Miles of trails on Madonna Mountain (aka Cerro San Luis) was 2 minutes walk from the house. We enjoyed our month at this house.

A gem in San Louis Obispo

This home in SLO is a gem. We have stayed in other vrbo's and this one was one of the best. A regular sized pool table for some fun, a real garage to park your car and bikes, and a deck and patio with fire pits and wonderful views. Three bedrooms with quality queen beds and fans overhead. Open living-kitchen-dining-family rooms.Newer appliances and nice furniture. VERY CLEAN Worked Great for us.

Between the Peaks

Outstanding. Russ and Cheryl’s home sits between Madonna Mountain and Bishop’s Peak (great for hikers). The home is much more spacious than what the photos show with many different areas where to relax or visit with family and friends. We enjoyed access to Netflix and HBO, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and especially the sunsets over Bishops Peak. The house is equipped with EVERYTHING you might need. We strongly recommend staying at this home. Russ and Cheryl are very helpful and friendly as is Bonnie, the property manager.

Bonnie mentioned how great the communication was, how much she enjoyed her chats with you, and Maria (house keeper) was blown away at how clean you left it; "Best renters ever!" This property is amazing! The house is beautifully decorated,the lay-out spacious, and everything you could possibly need is provided. The hosts are extremely generous in sharing all the household accessories and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable All the appliances were top-end and the kitchen was equipped to make or bake anything. The back deck is the perfect place to have morning coffee or just sit out and relax. The bed was very comfortable. I cannot think of one thing that would be needed to make this stay better. We were there for two months and would definitely stay again if in the area. There are not enough superlatives to describe the property.

Fantastic views in fabulous quiet neighborhood

Best view of Bishop Peak in SLO. Nestled in gorgeous neighborhood with a beautiful patio to enjoy the views. A very comfortable, clean & well-appointed house, that is nicely decorated. The owners couldn't have been nicer to communicate with. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Russ and Cheryl.

Thanks for the nice review Katie! Hope you had a safe trip home. We just got in today. Maria commented how clean it was, thank you for that. So, the plan is to spend now through holidays updating, cleaning, repairing, etc... After that, we're on the road again. Well, at least that's the plan. Florida keys in April, up to Maine through August, then home again. Question for you: One bit of input we had was the hard bed in room #3. We're going to add a mattress topper to soften it up. Is there any other input you have? Suggestions to improve the stay of guests? Thanks again for staying with us. Best wishes...Russ & Cheryl

The perfect home in the perfect central coast town

Russell and Cheryl's home was wonderful! The house and yards are beautiful (the pictures of Bishop's peak are even more stunning in person). Everything one would expect was provided for--the kitchen was easy to cook and entertain in with everything one could possibly need, the beds are comfy, and the home was very clean. As guests, it was obvious that Russell and Cheryl have put time and attention into making sure their guests feel comfortable and at home during their stay. The house is located close to everything: minutes from Cal Poly, grocery stores, downtown, great freeway access for trips to the beach, wine tasting, hiking--all that the beautiful central coast has to offer. Hiking San Luis (Madonna) Mtn is steps from their front door, no car needed. Russell and Cheryl were easy to work with, available to answer questions but not intrusive. Overall, just a great experience and I would highly recommend!
