The house was very nice. We wish we would’ve had a longer stay so we could’ve enjoyed the nice outdoor area. We really appreciated the chairs and towels so we could spend a day at the beach. That was a definite plus.

Would definitely stay here again!!! We had more than enough linens, dishes, cookware, seating, and space for our family of seven. There were plenty of areas for us to spread out between all of the bedrooms, the front porch, the backyard fire pit area, and the garage with the games. The location of the house was perfect. We even walked to watch the musical fountain one night because it was so close. There was also lots of beach supplies for us to use and made our beach day so easy and fun! Can’t wait to go back!

Great Location

Check in was simple. Communication with owner was perfect. Beach towels, chairs, soaps, etc. All Provided. Great location and well priced. We were very happy with our stay.

Plenty of space, large yard for kids to play and owners have provided many nice amenities, including beach chairs and towels, bikes, a pool table and foosball table, fire pit, outdoor lounge chairs and a picnic table.

Week stay before cost guard festival

We all enjoyed the property. The house is well maintained, plenty of room for 3 kids. Entrace with keycode is located in the back. Walking distance to downtown.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this cute house. There were 7 of us, so we used all the bedrooms. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom, and the one room can't access the bathroom without going through another bedroom, so those guests used the downstairs bathroom more. It wasn't a big deal for us, but something to be aware of as it may affect other people. The house was very clean and there were snacks, water bottles, and some ideas of attractions in the area. Those were much appreciated. We also loved the access to beach chairs and beach towels. We sat under the pergola and chatted while enjoying the backyard. It was about a 15 minute walk to downtown area too. The house is right off of a main road, so the traffic noise was a lot, especially during "rush hours". Also, the windows had blinds, but not curtains, so it was bright early in the morning. The front door didn't have any curtains. The stained glass window was gorgeous! The only other things were small details, like not many lamps or lights (we had some burned out bulbs) and not many outlets, but to be expected in an older home. There was a charging station in the kitchen which was very helpful! We weren't given checkout directions, even when asked, but we assumed there must not be specific directions, so left the house as nice as we could. One side of the coffee maker didn't work, but the owner told us he could bring one over so he was very responsive to that. Overall, we would stay here again!

The house was in a great location, very clean, well stocked.Bikes were a wonderful perk along with all the beach items available to use.Host was very responsive.We had a great trip and would definitely rent again!

We had a great stay! We liked that it was clean, spacious and had all we needed - the beach chairs and toys were great. We also liked that it was in a walkable location to town. When we arrived the dryer had just broken, but the owner was quick to communicate about it and provide a working dryer.

This home was very comfortable and well stocked. There are plenty of towels, bath products, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. There are even some snacks and water bottles waiting for guests. Beds and bedding were comfortable, as was the sectional in the living area. We very much enjoyed having two tables, one to eat on and one we did a puzzle on and played games. It was cool while we were there but there were beach chairs and towels that would be so nice for beach days. Chad was very responsive to any questions we had and was a great host. The only downside to the home is that it is located on a very busy road and street noise was noticeable all day long and into the night, in particular motorcycles and cars revving their engines. The upstairs is smaller than it appeared in photos, with the bathroom being a jack and jill with two of the bedrooms. It is not accessible from the third bedroom without going through one of the other bedrooms. The hosts provided suggestions for restaurants and activities. We enjoyed many of them. We would add our own to that list: Stanz Cafe and Melli's Deli in Grand Haven were excellent for lunch and we highly recommend a trip up to Mac Wood's Dunes Rides in Silver Lake.

Thank you for your review and thank you for treating our home as you would your own. The cleaning service said it was very clean and well kept. Sorry the traffic in front of the home was loud for you. It normally dies down after beach traffic by 6-7pm. I will make note in the description that the upstairs bathroom is indeed a Jack n Jill type. I am glad you enjoyed the rest of the home.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

This one has tons of history strating out as a school house on the east side of town. Several years later it was moved to its current location on the west side of grand haven. The name Sign House comes from a local political battle between the city and a former owner. The owner was allowed to out political signs in his yard so he wrote political messages on this actual home. All of which has been covered up by siding. Some unique photos of the home are currently in the house.
