Alex's clearly cares very much about his property and wants you to have a great stay. He stayed in regular contact with me as our reservation rolled near. The unit is very clean and in good shape. We were very pleased with the amenities. I also have to say that the surrounding neighborhood is very nice and we felt completely safe walking there at night. There was a nice little cafe that's about a 10-minute walking distance that has great authentic chai.

Alex is an excellent host, very helpful, very prompt in responding to text messages. The apartment was spotless and the kitchen was well-equipped. Flatbush is a nice neighbourhood but takes about an hour by public transit to get into the heart of Brooklyn and longer to get to Manhattan. Nothing is close by. However, we had dinner at the one restaurant that's near the apartment called CZEN and it was wonderful.

I think the accommodations are reflective of NY. Small but quaint. I really liked the neighborhood. Safe to walk around. Within walking distance to bus stops. Not far from subway either. I would consider this spot if staying in Brooklyn.

Spotless space in a darling neighborhood with lots of free, on-street parking. Lots to see and do nearby! We would definitely return.

Alex was there to greet me when I arrived. He helped me with luggage, gave me a tour, and even offered up his street parking space for street cleaning the next day. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of bed linens and pillows.The purpose of our trip was tourism in NYC. We had about a mile walk to the last stop on the 2 and 5 subways (Flatbush) subway, but there are busses that come nearer a couple of streets away, and readily available ubers. There is some really good food on Flatbush Ave, too. The only common area to gather was the kitchen, but that was fine with us as we did not spend a lot of time there.

The property is very clean and the neighborhood is friendly and peaceful. Alex is very meticulous, but hospitable and ensures that his guests are ok. My only gray area is the staircase to enter the unit, it’s very steep. All in all a very good 9 day stay as we felt at home.

Alex was a gracious host and greeted us when we got to his home. He made sure we knew how the heating system and cable operated and made sure we could use the keys he provided. The apartment was very clean and Alex even provided us with bottled water. It was surprisingly easy to find street parking right next to the apartment. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Alex always makes sure of a good stay. Clean and peaceful property. Very welcoming and accommodating. Takes time out to check in and always offer to assist with anything needed. This was my second stay and will definitely recommend to travelers whether you're staying as a family/group or alone. Thanks again Alex.

Very clean! Host was nice and helped us multiple times with things. Kitchen well stocked. There is street parking, if you can find a spot.Check-in is a meeting with the host and a tour with instructions.I prefer contactless check-in, but the host was very nice.The only reason for the four stars is we could have used more blankets than the apartment had. Bus stops near by. Neighborhood felt safe.Our stay was very nice.

Our time at this Brooklyn apartment was absolutely excellent. The space was spacious, spotless, and so comfortable exactly what we needed for our trip. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, and being just a 15-minute walk to the subway made getting around the city incredibly easy.Our host was wonderful responsive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.

Such a fantastic stay! Very warm welcome by Alex the host, the spaces were better than the photos. We had everything we needed in the unit to have a pleasant stay in Brooklyn. It felt like home. The neighborhood is quiet and residential with a great bodega just on the corner and nearby grocery stores. We cooked several evenings and it was easy to do it. We did not bring a car - it's about 5 minutes from the closest bus and 20 minutes walking from the closest subway station. If you plan to visit Manhattan, it's about 1 hour by subway.Overall, I'd book this apartment again without any hesitation!

Host was great and we loved the neighborhood, very quiet and cute. The place is spacious with lots of privacy between the bedrooms and a full kitchen. Coffee was stocked for me which I always appreciate. Location is a bit far out but we knew that going in and it was a great deal. Thanks Alex!

I consider Dylan has a tidy and respectful guest who follows all rules. He considers the property as his own house by treating the space with care and leaving the space as he found it. I highly recommend him to anyone and will host him as long as he wants to be my guest.

Graduation trip to New York City with my son

This was a great property and a great location in Brooklyn. It was close to the public transportation we wanted to teach my son to use. The owner has updated the rooms. The kitchen was fully outfitted, so when were were exhausted, there it was for some light cooking, or quick breakfast. The bathroom has a cool and classic subway tile style. First rate. We're already considering another trip.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a little more residential than being downtown, but we knew that and it was reflected in the price. That being said, it was still easy to get around using the nearby bus lines and subway lines. Being in a more residential area meant it was quieter, and we felt very safe in this area walking around. Alex was a good host, the house itself was very clean and we were very comfortable with our stay. The beds, sheets, towels were clean and comfortable enough. There was enough toilet paper, paper towels, etc in the house, and it was stocked with utensils, shampoo, soap, etc., though we didn’t need to use those. Only things to note are that this is not a contactless check-in, which is my preference. Alex will greet you at the door and do a quick tour of the place. This is strictly preference, but after a long day of travel, I prefer to just unlock the doors and unload. The other thing is that the address that is provided immediately after booking is NOT the actual Vrbo address. I was not happy upon learning that 2 weeks before our trip as we had planned our travel based on that location, but it ended up being fine for us. Just an FYI in case you were relying on being close to the CVS or particular bus line. Overall, good stay, I’d stay here again if I’m in Brooklyn, now that I know what to expect.
