Bambu House is a peaceful retreat located just 15 minutes from the lively center of La Fortuna, offering the perfect escape from the noise and traffic while keeping you close to all major attractions. Surrounded by lush greenery and with a stunning view of the Arenal Volcano, the home is designed for comfort, relaxation, and connection to nature.

The house features three spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and air conditioning throughout. Sleeping arrangements are as follows:

Room 1: 1 King bed

Room 2: 1 King bed and 1 Single bed

Room 3: 1 King bed and 1 Single bed

Enjoy the covered pool area, perfect for any weather, and a cozy BBQ space for outdoor meals. There is also a dedicated outdoor sitting and dining area where you can enjoy your meals while taking in the amazing volcano views. It is a perfect spot for morning coffee, evening drinks, or sharing a meal with loved ones surrounded by nature.

Guests also have access to a private mountain trail, where you can explore tall trees, a peaceful stream, and the sounds of the jungle.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful, secluded location on the edge of the forest, with a peaceful stream and amazing wildlife. The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and felt like a true escape.The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast they kindly invited us to was excellent—definitely recommend.A great base for exploring La Fortuna with a car: peaceful and private, yet close to all the main attractions. Would happily stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was beautiful and had such a cool, thoughtfully decorated feel. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there were so many little personal touches throughout the house that made us feel welcome.The covered pool was a huge plus. We were able to enjoy it even when it rained. We also loved exploring the trail near the house that winds through the beautiful tropical surroundings and creek area.The location was perfect for us. It was quiet and peaceful while still only about 10–15 minutes from La Fortuna. The hosts were incredibly helpful and even helped us arrange food delivery our first evening. Joshua, the concierge, was also wonderful and helped coordinate transportation and excursions throughout our stay.One of our favorite mornings was the traditional Costa Rican breakfast at the property. It was delicious, and they put out fruit that brought beautiful birds right up near us while we ate.Also, if you stay here, don’t miss Cooking with Chela! It’s only about 10 minutes away and was one of our favorite experiences of the entire trip.Beautiful home, wonderful hosts, and a great location. We would absolutely stay here again!

The land itself has been in our family for generations. It is a place filled with memories, care, and tradition. We chose to build here because we wanted to create a space that reflects the natural beauty and peaceful spirit of the land we grew up on. Now, we are proud to share it with guests so they can experience the same sense of calm and connection.

One special touch guests love is the chance to enjoy traditional Costa Rican breakfast experience lovingly prepared by my mother, using fresh local ingredients; which is included one morning after staying two or more nights. Other meals can be arranged upon request. Her cooking brings comfort and a true taste of home.
