WALK TO EVERYTHING IN THE VILLAGE FROM THIS COTTAGE WITH GORGEOUS VIEWS! Located in the center of the village, this renovated cottage is open, cozy, and perfect for a Woodstock vacation or weekend getaway. Convenience is the name of the game here. No vehicle is necessary. It is a short walk to the Trailways bus stop, restaurants, shops, art galleries, and hiking. This rental is blessed with beautiful views of the Sawkill Creek and Tannery Brook.

The fully equipped kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The dining area has French doors that overlook the patio and Sawkill Creek. The living room is nicely furnished and has a flat screen TV over the electric fireplace. The master bedroom, with French doors providing a lovely view of the creek, is complete with a queen size bed, dressing room, flat screen TV and full private tiled bath. The second floor has a loft equipped with a futon, hardwood flooring, TV, and more beautiful views of the creek and brook. Also located on the second floor is a second bedroom. This bedroom has a queen size bed, flat screen TV, and full private tiled bath.

This cottage has 3 cable flat screen TV's, high speed internet, washer/dryer, central AC with air exchanger and air purifier, tiled floors in kitchen and living area, covered patio and more. Bed linens and towels are provided.

You can fish in the Sawkill Creek or if you want to explore the area, you can fish or go “tubing” in the Esopus Creek in Phoenicia, ride up to Hunter Mountain for one of their festivals, take in a horse show at HITS in Saugerties, ski at Bellayre, Windham or Hunter Mountains, or visit the shopping malls in Kingston. They are all within a short driving distance.

While we are not able to claim handicap accessibility, the main living area, kitchen, master bedroom and 1.5 baths are all located on the first floor. The master bath has a large walk in shower with a built in granite seat. Doorways are 36” wide and would have no trouble accommodating a walker. Smoke and Pet free cottage.

Wonderful Woodstock location!!

This home is just absolutely wonderful! Everything you need to stay is included in this home! The cleanliness is above par!! The organization is excellent and the notes and information are just so great! This setting and waking up next to two streams in the morning, is just so beautiful and peaceful! Two minute walk into the heart of Woodstock! So close to all the stores and restaurants! We parked our car upon arrival and didn't need it until we left!! We look forward to coming back, hopefully in the summer and staying again!!

Wonderful stay

My husband and I were so pleased with this cottage we cannot wait to return. We decided on a last minute trip from Florida to enjoy the cool autumn weather and foliage. We found the cabin as described if not better. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure every detail is addressed. The cabin is clean, crisp, and well appointed. We rebooked on the way to the airport. I will be looking forward to returning to this lovely property.

Vacation get away

This is a beautiful cottage. Immaculate, fully equipped. The host provided coffee, toiletries, and homemade cookies. We had a fantastic time, and will go back again!

Woodstock gem

We loved our stay at this cottage in Woodstock. The place is immaculate and the hosts have made sure that guests have all the conveniences that you’d find in an upscale hotel. The rooms are bigger in person than in the pictures online so there was plenty of room for us to enjoy for the weekend. We highly recommend this VRBO rental if you’re looking for a place to stay in Woodstock!

I can't express how much I love this place

This is the kind of rental where you have to pinch yourself to believe it's real. The house itself is beautiful and is fully stocked with everything you need. There is a river with a swimming hole in the backyard. While it feels secluded and private, it is a quick walk into the heart of downtown Woodstock. Every time I texted the hosts with a question, I heard back from them within minutes. This place is a treasure! To top it off, our first night there, a mother deer and her two young children visited us in the yard at dusk. The next morning when we woke up, we saw that the two baby deers had slept on the back lawn. Every day, first in the morning, then at dusk, they would visit us. I kept asking, "Is this real, or am I imagining this??" I am grateful this place exists, and that Bob and Roberta are such mindful hosts.

Great place!

We had a wonderful time. The space is perfect for two couples and extra futon for a child if needed. The hosts provided everything we needed and left wonderful homemade cookies. I highly recommend. Easy walk to downtown.

Never wanted to leave!

We were so fortunate to find this adorable and convenient place to spend our reunion weekend in Woodstock. Everything there for us including fresh baked cookies! The property is gorgeous and you felt like you were just walking into your own home.Didn't even need to bring any neccessities as there were little baskets in all bathrooms. I would stay here every time I was in the area. Just the best!

Lovely setting

Perfect!

This home is a beautiful example of what an ideal stay is meant to be. Our hosts were thoughtful, gracious and welcoming (delicious homemade cookies awaited us on our arrival!); the smallest of details were paid an exquisite amount of attention. The home is nestled in the nook of a quiet street in Woodstock, a rustling little stream in the backyard was perfect to wake to in the morning, and the location was ideal for walking right into town for dinner and shopping when we weren't relaxing at home and making dinner there. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything one might need to prepare whatever kind of meal. The accommodations were quite nice, right down to providing travel amenities, a small bag of coffee to brew each morning, brown towels for makeup removal, and a basket of local travel guides situated next to a binder full of useful local information. We enjoyed our time here very much and remain grateful for the opportunity to escape into the quiet respite of Woodstock for a much-needed weekend away in this quaint, comfortable, and welcoming home. We sincerely hope to return soon.

Woodstock Getaway

We arrived to our fresh-baked delicious cookies, coffee and creamer. The house was quaint, with luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms. The property was safe and about a 5 minute walk to town. I would love to book again in the warmer weather and enjoy the patio set on beautiful creek! Amazing time!! Highly recommend.

Wedding weekend

We enjoyed staying right in Woodstock within walking distance of all the in-town stuff. The owners were great, providing a personalized welcome card and note and homemade cookies! The house was terrific and we had a wonderful experience. Especially loved the creek behind the house was beautiful.

Perfect Getaway

This place is THE place to stay when visiting Woodstock NY and the surrounding area! Beautiful cottage right on the creek! Luxury in the mountains! The hosts Bob and Roberta take a lot of pride in this place and it shows! They had everything we needed and only had to bring our clothes. If you needed something, it was there just like home. The creek is steps away with a swimming hole all for us to enjoy. You can walk to Tinker Street easily. Thank you Bob and Roberta for what I consider a first class weekend! Trish

Beautiful location

This property is well maintained and the hosts have done a great job! Beautiful and very comfortable for our visit. You might be tempted to just stay on the property for it's splendor but don't....take a walk in the neighborhood! Bet this is great in all four seasons. Thanks R&R.
