INCREDIBLE “WALKABLE” RENTAL with Sawkill Creek Views
WALK TO EVERYTHING IN THE VILLAGE FROM THIS COTTAGE WITH GORGEOUS VIEWS! Located in the center of the village, this renovated cottage is open, cozy, and perfect for a Woodstock vacation or weekend getaway. Convenience is the name of the game here. No vehicle is necessary. It is a short walk to the Trailways bus stop, restaurants, shops, art galleries, and hiking. This rental is blessed with beautiful views of the Sawkill Creek and Tannery Brook.
The fully equipped kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. The dining area has French doors that overlook the patio and Sawkill Creek. The living room is nicely furnished and has a flat screen TV over the electric fireplace. The master bedroom, with French doors providing a lovely view of the creek, is complete with a queen size bed, dressing room, flat screen TV and full private tiled bath. The second floor has a loft equipped with a futon, hardwood flooring, TV, and more beautiful views of the creek and brook. Also located on the second floor is a second bedroom. This bedroom has a queen size bed, flat screen TV, and full private tiled bath.
This cottage has 3 cable flat screen TV's, high speed internet, washer/dryer, central AC with air exchanger and air purifier, tiled floors in kitchen and living area, covered patio and more. Bed linens and towels are provided.
You can fish in the Sawkill Creek or if you want to explore the area, you can fish or go “tubing” in the Esopus Creek in Phoenicia, ride up to Hunter Mountain for one of their festivals, take in a horse show at HITS in Saugerties, ski at Bellayre, Windham or Hunter Mountains, or visit the shopping malls in Kingston. They are all within a short driving distance.
While we are not able to claim handicap accessibility, the main living area, kitchen, master bedroom and 1.5 baths are all located on the first floor. The master bath has a large walk in shower with a built in granite seat. Doorways are 36” wide and would have no trouble accommodating a walker. Smoke and Pet free cottage.

This is a superbly furnished, immaculately clean and well stocked house in a lovely location on the creek and very near the town center.

Wonderful location and the hosts were so generous with coffee and held and half, fresh cookies and lots of toiletries provided. Could walk to everywhere. Be sure to get a slice of pepperoni from Catskill Mountain Pizza and a stuff bagel from Moonrise bagels.

We have stayed here several times and will be back again. The location near downtown is great, the site on the Sawkill is lovely, the house is always clean, well-appointed and organized, and the hosts are helpful and approachable. Can’t say enough!

Don’t look any further for lodging in Woodstock. This cottage was perfectly situated downtown, walkable to everything. The pictures do not do it justice. It was immaculately clean and had everything visitors would need. The hosts kindly provided chocolate chip cookies, coffee and half and half. Thank you Bob & Roberta for the use of your lovely home.

Wonderful weekend stay
The house was very clean, the kitchen stocked with everything you would need, and there were many movies and games to choose from. Great location - we loved being able to walk to restaurants and shops and a short drive to hiking with great views.

Great spot
We were very impressed and happy with our stay! The owners go above and beyond to keep the place clean and make it comfortable for guests. Really nice location & great being by the creek.

Great place and location
We enjoyed our stay, watched and listened to the nearby creek. Everything in town is walking distance. Great home.

Another great stay at my favorite cozy spot. Communication was on point kitchen fully stocked and a super clean spacious home. I cannot say enough good things about this spot and look forward to another stay next year. Thank you.

Fabulous location
Short walk to everything in town. Property was so nice and clean. The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable!!

Weekend at Woodstock
Enjoyed a short but sweet weekend away with family. Bob and Roberta were very thoughtful and considerate hosts. Would definitely stay there again.

Woodstock gem
Perfect location - easy walk to town! Creek is beautiful in the backyard. Been staying here with friends for 5 years in a row and love it.

Cozy stay with thoughtful hospitality
The space was just as described... clean, cozy, and in an awesome location. The host was extremely responsive and kind. If you’re scent sensitive like me, it may be worth checking in about laundry/ cleaning products in advance, but overall, we really loved the space!
