This was our second visit to the property and it was just as outstanding this year as last year. We had beautiful weather and really enjoyed the outside spaces especially the outdoor fireplace. If you are going to spend some time in town you can't beat the location - 5 minute walk and you're there. Highly recommended again!

This property is so special. It’s so close to town, yet has an abundance of privacy and quiet. Sitting and listening to the brook as it runs alongside the house is something out of a movie.Jill is so reliable and responsive, and she and her team keep the property absolutely pristine. This is our third stay at the house, and it certainly won’t be our last. We look forward to coming back every time.

We enjoyed our stay completely. The house is spacious and comfortable and the property is peaceful and perfectly located to walk the town.If we return to Woodstock it would be hard not to stay here again.

It was a lovely house and only a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants in town. The host was very responsive to all our needs. We were very happy qith our experience.

A warm and cozy retreat in late March!

Brookside retreat was a wonderful meeting space for our family to come together for a warm and cozy weekend in the Catskills!

Sitting on back deck within a few feet of Tannery Brook is the highlight of this property. House is bright and welcoming with natural light is most rooms. Easy to overlook normal wear/tear you might expect with this older heavily used property. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Great towels, soaps, linens, filtered water, games, books, and fascinating stories in their guest book. Neighbors are welcoming and the most amazing swimming hole is a few steps away. Jill and Pat were outstanding and always available to address any concern. We are definitely coming back to this property.

Great stay. We enjoyed the lovely property, its location, the cleanliness. Second time renting and will definitely be back. Communication with host was timely and efficient. Fireplace was a nice touch. Walking distance to so much.

This place was top drawer - beautiful setting by the stream - just a couple minutes walk into town but you would never know it - it was so peaceful and quiet. Kitchen had everything you might possibly need, beds were comfortable, outdoor fireplace was great. Plenty of room to run around both inside and out. Our family has been to the Woodstock area many times over the last 20 years and we all agree this house ranks right at the top.

Woodstock Film Festival weekend

Friends and family stayed at the Brookside Retreat for the Woodstock Film Festival weekend. We had an amazing time. House is perfectly located, was in immaculate condition, and had all the amenities needed. Will definitely stay again!

Lovely Stay

Nice home, great layout for our 2 year old to run around in and so we could see him playing. Beautiful outdoor and close to town. We walked into town multiple times a day.

Great spot to explore Woodstock and area - even walked to “the barn”! Thank you for such a relaxing weekend. Loved the picture of the old house on the piano!

Brook Cottage is a perfect place for a family, couples or friends to stay and enjoy Woodstock. A three minute walk to the village green and center of town, the suit street and neighborhood is so close to everything yet offers complete serenity. From the well supplied kitchen and spacious living areas and large outdoor spaces. I think this place has everything one would need for their stay. We feel more and more at home every time we come to town and Judy and her team make it even better with their attention to every detail and quick responses. This is our second stay at one of their properties and we will definitely seek them out for our next trip up.

We enjoyed our stay at the Brookside retreat! The grounds were so beautiful, especially after the rain, with the sound of the creek very soothing and peaceful. Highly recommend eating at Nirvana for excellent Indian fair. The Hardwoods played at Pearl Moon and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to them. Everything was very neat and the beds were so comfortable. We especially were thankful for the raincoats and umbrella that were provided since we did not pack our own. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful and relaxing vacation home

Brookside Retreat was everything we could have wished for in a vacation home. The house is even bigger than the photos show, the property is beautiful, and being right next to a stream surrounded by trees while only a few blocks from stores made it just perfect. The house is wonderfully equipped and the property manager was immediately accessible when a question came up. We definitely plan on coming back.

Beautiful brook-side retreat in Woodstock center

We absolutely loved the property and our stay. The home is comfortable and well-appointed. We loved the gas fireplace, large kitchen and the patio overlooking the stream. The house is convenient to everything and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Communication was A+++ throughout our stay and we could not have been happier. This is a true gem!!
