Discover Tiny House Living! Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Great for a Surf/Fishing Trip. Comfortable inside and great private deck outside. Pet friendly with accommodations designed for you and your pet to relax just feet from the beach in the heart of Rodanthe. Located 350 feet from the Hatteras Island (Rodanthe) Fishing pier. Pier passes included!
Room to Spare is an original tiny house established in 1983 and used by the Dunne Family until 2022 when we purchased the property and built our own little purple house. We kept the existing tiny house as we consider it a historical landmark and upgraded it to preserve and share its legacy.

The property is so well organized and makes awesome use of the small space. Has everything you need and is a perfect location. So close to the beach and shops/restaurants within walking distance

Tim was very accomplished. The property was able to squeeze in a lot for its size. The only improvement would be a single hot plate. The location is excellent

Very nice, small but everything you need. Great location and Tim was very helpful. Really nice to have a shared washer and dryer.

We had a great time! The tiny house suited our minimal needs over our 5 day stay, and the location was so great. The enclosed porch and outdoor shower were super convenient for us and our sandy, beach loving pup.

We really enjoyed this studio! It felt spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect — close to great restaurants, the pier, and just a short walk to the beach. The porch was our favorite spot to relax, and the privacy made it feel extra peaceful. We’d definitely recommend it!

Tim and Stephanie were so great they thought of everything for your stay we did not have to take no towels no wash rags they had everything provided from shampoo to conditioner to body wash all you really had to bring is your clothes plus everything you ever need for your fur baby bowls ...leashes .blankets ..just one min walk to beach we will be bavkThank you Tim and Stephanie

Our stay at the studio was perfect! Exceptionally clean and cozy. The studio and surrounding deck is so well thought out and designed, you can tell it was built with care. The outdoor space is great - shower is heavenly, a hose to spray down beach items, comfy seating and cozy lighting. Tim and Stephanie were great hosts and were very accommodating with my change of initial reservation. I highly recommended this VRBO and plan to be back next year. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A nice, cozy, cool vibes kinda stay! The pet friendly accommodations made it so much more manageable with our labrador Sophie. There were indoor and outdoor bowls, 2 water hoses, a clean and nice poop station, leashes, a dog bed on the patio-all clean and in pristine condition. There are even designated dog towels and blankets. The outdoor shower is pure serenity, so clean and nice. You can feel the ocean breeze in it. The bathroom was so clean and had the most amazing smelling handsoap and spray (a very high end type scent). All linens are provided and cleaned for you!!! He even provides Dove hair and body products, bags, paper towels, makeup swabs and everything you could possibly need! The locals of Rodanthe make you feel like you're part of the community. Tim, his dog Addie and all his pals were great. His garage is also super cool (where the laundry is). If you want to go where you can feel like a true OBX'er, this is it!!!! We loved the laid back vibe and the hammock chair inside is so fun!!! Also, pictured is a flower and local found seashell Tim gave us! Above and beyond kindness and hospitality!!!!!
