Five king bedrooms, five bathrooms, bunk bedroom, plus a complete two bedroom, two bathroom apartment and gym. View of ocean and the island of Vieques from pool area and most rooms. Large 3200 sq. ft. pool and spa area with outdoor kitchen and pavilion. Lush estate with bananas, avocado, cashew, breadfruit and mango trees. Watch the moon rise over the ocean. Golf cart rentals with paths to beach, restaurants, casino, marina, golf, tennis, grocery, bank and shopping all within a secure community.
Villa Bellamar is a gated Mediterranean Styled Villa located at the end of a cul-de-sac overlooking and close enough to the Caribbean Sea to hear the surf. This area is private, quiet and separate from the more developed parts of Palmas del Mar. There is a beautiful cove and scenic beach 500 feet below the villa. 48kw automatic generator serves most of main house. Apartment is included with 13 or more guests. Security camera at front and rear entrance.

Beautiful

We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful. We had Chef Jeff making our meals and he was The Best!!! The only thing I would suggest is to include a golf cart with the property. It would have been nice to be able to move around the community with a golf cart. Also, the hot tub was not hot. Other than that, great vacation!!

A Vacation to Remember

This place was absolutely fantastic! We stayed with multiple friends and family members and had plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company while also finding moments of solitude. Our morning walks were breathtaking, with a hidden beach just minutes away. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the outdoor kitchen made for unforgettable evenings of grilling. The apartment was ideal for guests who needed to balance work and relaxation. Plus, the house manager greeted us at check-in and was incredibly helpful in answering all our questions. A truly exceptional stay! It was a short golf cart ride to the beach at the Wyndham. Our family and friends will never forget this amazing vacation. We are so grateful this place will be part of our story.

Beautiful location!

The house was perfect for our family of 13 with a wide range of ages. Everyone was able to have their own "area" but then able to gather by the pool. The pool area is amazing!!

Incredible Vacation Home

My group included three families with kids and there was more than enough space for everyone. The pool area was spacious and private, and the views were spectacular. The house was comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything we needed when preparing meals at home. Communication with both the host and onsite property manager was excellent. We would 100% stay here again!

Outdoor area and pool are tops!!

Lovely home with fabulous views! The outdoor area is great!! Which is really the most important feature in our view! The other areas are all lovely although little used as we had beautiful weather and constant breezes which made it very comfortable. Great communication with manager as he waited patiently for us. Will certainly recommend to friends.

Awesome home with view!

Loved our stay, private pool with deck/patio was wonderful. Great for large group due to # of bedrooms.. each one secluded with most having private baths. Great for family gathering and groups. Manager was very hands-on and helpful during our stay. This area of PR does not have sandy beaches, mostly rocky cliffs. Palmas Del Mar is very large property, so requires a car and a bit of a drive for sights and groceries.

Wonderful family trip

As others have mentioned, this place is beautiful and I can't say enough about the outdoor space and the views! One thing I didn't realize is that every room led to the outside to go to other rooms so doors had to be kept closed which was hard to do with little kids. Also the beach was much further than we expected and not really walkable when the weather was extremely hot. But overall the property and the location were fantastic and Rico was very responsive to any questions we had!

Family reunion

Celebrated grandma‘s 80th birthday by bringing all three children and all grandchildren, all 15 of us together for a week. What a magical experience, she was on cloud nine. Ample Space, and the place is beautiful and well stocked. Gorgeous view off the deck, we spent countless hours there. Great outdoor grilling space, made most of our meals there. Two small beaches within 15 to 30 minute walk, neither ideal for swimming, but both beautiful and tranquil. Main beach is a short driveway with parking nearby, would not waste money on renting golf cart, unless you have non-car drivers who want to get around. Overall strongly recommend this magical spot.

Gorgeous setting with lovely views

A suggestion is that foods be more thoroughly cleared away after each stay. There clearly were items in the kitchen that were over aged. That said, there were fresher items, seasonings etc, which were welcome and helpful. Our group ranging in age from 14 to 87 each found appropriate activities and the setting was extraordinary.

Perfect in every way

The house was everything we hoped for and so much more. The view is beautiful. The pool and outside pavillion is where we spent most of our time. Even in the rain we were able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view and peaceful sounds of nature. The house was very spacious, well maintained and was stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms are positioned to allow everyone privacy and undisturbed rest. Our group had such a great time and would absolutely do it again. As mentioned in other reviews, it is everything you see in the photos and much more. Rico was very nice and responded to every question very promptly. We truely had the best time. Thank you.

Excellent property for large groups.

Celebrated my 40th birthday in Palmas Del Mar with friends. The community itself offers a lot of things to do. Gorgeous golf course, restaurants, various sports, etc. The house itself was large and accommodated our group fairly well. Outdoor area was spacious and had beautiful views. No direct beach access from the property, but you can access via the resort hotel area. The rooms vary in size and amenities. Property advertises sleeps 16 but this includes a bunk room which is mostly suitable for children. Rico was a great host/prop manager. Wifi coverage is inconsistent and slow in most areas. Car or golf cart is recommended.

Great outdoor space

High on a hill and surrounded by lush greenery, this house provides a stunning view of the ocean and a fantastic outdoor space with a covered area offering comfortable couches for reading or relaxing and an outdoor kitchen featuring a grill, bar seating, and a large dining table. It was the hub of our family’s stay, allowing us to gather as we watched the kids frolicking in the pool. Note: the pool is unheated, so it can be cold, and the adjoining smaller pool, although configured as a hot tub, is also unheated. Indoors, there are stairs to negotiate between the many levels, which might be a concern for those with mobility issues. Some bedrooms open to an outdoor corridor and the bunk bed room has a loft, so perhaps unsuitable for small children. Renting here does not confer access to the Palmas del Mar community beach club but you will be able to play golf or tennis for a fee.

Beautiful home, beautiful view!

Villa Bellmar is fantastic property! We are a family of seniors, infants, teenagers & 40 somethings and the house suited everyone. It was spacious, spotless & furnished with taste. The communication with the owner was prompt, pleasant & informative. Rico, the property manager, was always available via cell phone for concerns, questions & recommendations. He was a pleasure to deal with, was extremely accommodating & is a huge asset to the property! The pool was outstanding, the views were spectacular & the breeze constant. The view of the ocean & Vieques in the distance were spectacular. The trees surrounding the deck were beautiful & added to the tropical ambience of the home. We utilized the pool, outdoor BBQ & the gazebo daily with periodic escapes to the TV room, adjacent to the pool. The property is well laid out with a curved central staircase and the living spaces & bedrooms radiating outward from it on two levels. There are four bedrooms & a workout room upstairs & two bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen & tv room downstairs; as well as the pool & gazebo. I would highly recommend this property to family & friends alike!

Perfect Family Vacation Home

The property was clean and well-equipped with spectacular views. It was close to restaurants and markets as well as beaches. A golf cart helps to get around - we were a family of 13 and two 6 passenger carts were perfect. I would definitely consider another stay if we travel back to Puerto Rico!

Gorgeous Villa with Gorgeous Views

My family of 13 just returned from a one week stay, ages 12 to 80 years old and we all had a fantastic time! Rico, the property manager, met us there upon our arrival to hand over the keys, show us around and answer any questions. The villa met all of our expectations and beyond! As we had such a large group we were able to rent the attached apartment, which was a huge benefit. We spent the most time enjoying the beautiful views, while soaking in the sunshine in the pool. The pool is not heated, however, the temps were in the mid 80's and it was humid, so the pool was quite refreshing. Not one of us found the pool to be too cold to enjoy. We loved having access to the pool inflatables and access to beach towels. One suggestion for the pool is to add handles to the stairs for safety purposes. There are also beach chairs available to use if you go to the beach. We also loved having access to an outdoor grill, which we made good use of. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything imaginable for your cooking needs (air fryer, griddle, slow cooker, etc). We loved having use of the washer and dryer. There was only one slight issue early on in that the water temperature in the primary bathroom was lukewarm, however, Rico was there immediately to take care of it and he followed up with a text later in the day to make sure it was working. Excellent customer service on his part!! We would highly recommend this villa to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful home in Palmas Del Mar

The house is large and comfortable. The view is exquisite. Pool is not heated and was pretty cold. Also shampoo is not supplied and a limited supply of soap and toilet paper was in the house. 10am checkout is earlier than we were accustomed to. A request for a later checkout was declined. But overall we had a very good week staying in Palmas Del Mar.

Beyond all expectations!

We had heightened expectations after viewing this property on-line but, in reality, it surpassed anything we had anticipated. I can only say that the photos included in the VRBO listing do not do this property justice! It was beautifully appointed and offered every amenity and convenience one could desire. Adults and children alike particularly loved the pool and outdoor living area where we spent most of our time! The veranda offered much needed respite from the midday sun and occasional, quick moving, showers. The grill and bar areas became favorite gathering places for the entire family! The Palmas Del Mar community is absolutely top shelf and, in our estimation, this property is the crème de la crème. While there, three of us had the pleasure of playing the Flamboyan golf course at the Palmas Athletic Club. The course was in superb condition, rental clubs were fairly current, and the staff members were pleasant and helpful to a person. Visits to El Yunque Rainforest National Park and Old San Juan we’re about an hour’s drive, and well worth the effort. Comfortable walking shoes are a must! Restaurant facilities at Palmanova Plaza were casual and understated, but the food we enjoyed there was authentic and well prepared. With fourteen family members ranging in age from seventy-seven down to eight, we found it more enjoyable to prepare most our own meals and to eat “at home”. To this end, we found several grocery stores nearby that offered all the conveniences we’ve become accustomed to on the mainland, including delivery services, if desired. A special shout-out goes to the local property manager, who tirelessly walked us through every room and amenity available upon our arrival, and who responded immediately to text messages I sent him during our stay. He’s a treasure! The property owner was helpful, responsive and accessible by e-mail before and throughout the rental process. Handing the reins over to his local property manager once we arrived provided the perfect transition. We’ll done all around. We’ll be back!

Outstanding

The photos do not come close to capturing the beauty and size of this house. It felt like having our own personal resort. The kids swam from morning until night and we spent hours outside by the pool barbecuing and bonding as a family. Great food nearby like Chincho's pizza right down the street. We rode around on golf carts and had a blast. I highly recommend this house.

The best vacation in my Island

My family and I a total of 14 had the best vacations ,we enjoyed the house, the pool and Palmas del Mar absolutely beautiful. We was able to do a lot in five days. We went to San Juan have dinner at restaurant Vaca Brava, El Yunque was so nice and peaceful. Luquillo Beach, Lagas, La Parguera, Visited family we went to Culebra, rented a jeep and went to the beach, before going to the airport stop in Piñones had lunch at Donde Olga, the food was delicious. We definitely recommended we can't wait to go back. Teresa
