The cottage was beautiful and in excellent condition, very clean and everything in the cottage worked as expected. The view is spectacular. The hosts were very attentive and friendly. The attention to details regarding the property’s appearance was exceptional as well. We would definitely stay there again if we return to the area.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Cottage in Old Saybrook. It was better than we expected. The pictures are great and the actual experience is charming!! Great location to visit other areas of New England, wonderful views with marine life, and fantastic restaurants to enjoy. Brian and Heidi are excellent hosts, we did not have a need for anything. We will be telling all our friends about the great Cottage we found in New England. Thank you for sharing your place with us! :)

Quaint, super clean, has everything you need. On the water with spectacular views, and very quiet. Will definitely stay there again when in the area. The hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any inquiry.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was immaculate, and the views were absolutely amazing. There was so much wildlife to enjoy, which made the experience even more special. The town itself was quaint and picturesque ,it was a perfect getaway. The hosts were excellent communicators and went out of their way to make us feel welcome throughout our stay. We are already looking forward to our next trip here!

Fantastic, unique property, perfect for a couple, fully stocked with all the essentials. Most of all we loved the view, it is breathtaking.

The home was everything I imagined it would be, but even better. First, the host is terrific. Kind and easy to communicate with, though not much communication necessary since every detail was already addressed before arrival and then a comprehensive Welcome Guide covered the rest. The home itself is spectacular. The view, mesmerizing. The perfect waterfront cottage decorated in a warm yet contemporary style — complemented by a couple of large oil paintings by the host, who is a professional artist. Anyway, all I can say is that this is a great listing in a beautiful part of Connecticut. Enjoy!

We have stayed at several rental properties and have had some fantastic experiences. This property is at the top of that list. It was spotless, beautiful views, every possible amenity has already been thought about and the hosts are incredibly communicative and helpful. We can’t recommend this property strongly enough. It is absolutely fantastic.

Everything about this rental was perfect! The host answered questions quickly. This rental was one of the best we've ever stayed in. It was immaculate, very well equipped, beds and all furniture comfortable, and in a great location! We are looking forward to returning.

This dwelling is awesome! The house was spotless. Brian was very attentive to any questions we had. The location is perfect. We wanted to visit with our granddaughter who resides close by. She had fun filling the deer feeder. The natural surroundings are beautiful with birds singing every morning. The water view was so relaxing. We were fortunate enough to see kayakers and paddle boarders enjoying the water. Because it looked so good, we’ll be returning with kayaks.The house was stocked very well. Anything we needed was supplied. The location was convenient to restaurants, grocery, shopping and parks. We were so comfortable, there was no need to venture out. I’m a huge reader so this was the perfect environment.Thank you Brian & Holly for sharing your lovely home.

In town for a family wedding at Saybrook Point Inn & Spa which made this location perfect. We lived in Fenwood, neighborhood across the cove, for 14 years so this was an enjoyable trip back home. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching the osprey feeding its baby in the nearby nest, swans and their sygnets, and all of the other local birds. The cottage, fully stocked with any and every necessity, was very comfortable, and very nicely decorated, including the beautiful artwork. We will definitely stay here when & if we come back to Old Saybrook again. Great hosts and communication. All in all a great stay!
