Welcome to New Smyrna Beach, Florida's most friendly and quaint beach town. Moontide is New Smyrna Beach's best vacation value. Our non smoking 'beach cottage' is located on the Prime Location top (5th) floor of the prestigious 'A' building, which is right on the beach, and features a large 30 foot wide totally private balcony with unobstructed views up and down the entire beach. Our condo is perched right up against the sea wall. You can't get more direct oceanfront than this. It is located on the preferred safe, secure more private, "no drive" beach.

Our 'beach cottage' has been completely renovated, with all new flooring, kitchen cabinets, Kitchen and laundry room appliances, tiled walk in showers, dining room, living room and bedroom furnishings, 60' 'smart' HDTV, all new kitchen flatware. Really, everything is brand new, and absolutely first class top quality.

The balcony features numerous seating options to enjoy the beach's sights and sound; Imagine breathtaking painted sunrises, and moonlit evenings as you reflect on the day's memories; walks and bike rides along the beach, sitting out under the beach tent, watching the Dolphin swim along the shore, or the Pelicans drifting along the ever present sea breeze .

The balcony and its panoramic views is open to both the master bedroom, which features a beautiful King sized bed, as well as an open living room, which features a 60 inch 'smart' HDTV, and seating for beach gazing. The second bedroom features a queen sized bed, and also has a comfortable 'hide-a-mat' twin bed, as well as a 55' HDTV. There is the capability of free Netflix streaming on all TVs. We also have a free Amazon Fire Stick for expanded viewing options.

A fully stocked kitchen allows for eating in, or take advantage of the numerous local restaurants. Owners offer you the use of their selection of beach towels, tents, and umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach cart. Moontide has a heated pool just steps away, private secured covered garage parking, and private tennis courts. There is a brand new washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. Free high speed internet WiFi service, and free local and long distance telephone service to U.S, Canada, and P.R.

Great Property

Great accommodation, amenities, location, hosts, views, et al. .... everything you want and more in an oceanfront condo located on a private beach. Our second stay and we plan to return again next year. Thanks Bob and Deb for another outstanding stay!

Gorgeous beachfront property

We had a wonderful stay in November. The condo is beautiful and has a large balcony overlooking the ocean. We saw dolphins from the balcony! The unit is well equipped with everything you could want to have at the beach. The owners were very helpful with information about the area attractions and restaurants.

Annual Girlfriend Beach Trip

Awesome condo and location

The condo was very well decorated and stocked with everything we needed. The location was great for the beach and restaurants. Beach equipment, including bikes were included. A great place to stay.

Beautiful ocean views

Wonderful accommodations but best part is the direct ocean front views. Bob and Deb were very nice and easy to get in touch with when needed.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time at Bob and Deb’s condo. Location was great! The view from the balcony was perfect! We really enjoyed all of the beach toys, chairs, tents, boogies boards and so much more right there at the condo! Beds were very comfortable, there was a nice kitchen to cook in and everything was very clean! We really enjoyed the rooftop pool as well! I highly recommend staying at this condo! Thank you for the wonderful vacation for our family!

Perfect beach condo

This condo was amazing! It was immaculate and well appointed with everything we needed for a beach vacation. The view was incredible and very convenient to both pool and the beach. I loved waking up every morning to coffee on the balcony. We will definitely be back. Robert was also very responsive and we appreciated all of the details provided regarding the condo amenities.

The location and property exceeded our expectations and was well appointed with everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. The owner was very responsive and went above and beyond to insure we had a great experience. we loved the condo

Strongly recommend!! The condo is Beautiful, and very clean. The property inside and outside was very clean. Easy access to the beach. The condo has everything you need to go down to the beach Chairs, Cooler, wagon, beach toys and games, beach umbrella and so much more. Parking garage neat and clean. The area was nice and quiet. Bob and Debbie were so easy to work with.

Every summer NSB has been our go to and this year our stay at Moontide (A 502) did not disappoint. Great location, amazing beach views and the most enjoyable sunrise. The condo was clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Amazing views and great accommodations!!!

Great communication before and during our stay. Best views from the living area and master bedroom! 5 star all the way!! We will go back and I recommend anyone to stay here if you need 2 bed/bath in all of NSB. You will not be disappointed!

Wonderful experience

5 stars all the way! This 2 bedroom top floor beachfront condo is tastefully decorated and has a warm cozy feel with up to date appliances, tvs and bathrooms. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped for cooking. The owner provides lots of detailed information and is easily accessible and really wants your stay to go well. And the view is spectacular! We will be returning.

New Smyrna Condo Comfort

We have rented from VRBO in several US beach locations, and we are picky travelers! From the first view of the Moontide condo online and then interacting with Bob/Deb they were amazing with info and totally helpful. The condo is done and decorated to perfection, very comfortable, well appointed every amenity anyone could ask for. Beds were super comfy, plenty of blankets for cool evenings and loved the big built-in dining seating for family gatherings. Also, it was so quiet at night, just loved it all! Highly recommend this condo for a vacation in New Smyrna Beach!!!

Relax..and just enjoy being at the beach!

Mostly what there is to do in NSB is well ..to relax and enjoy the gorgeous beach! Moontide A502 is the place to do exactly that - and there are options. When you first arrive at the condo you’ll see the fabulous ocean views from your own private 5th floor balcony. We found some local coffee at Island Roasters and enjoyed that while watching the sunrise every morning… which, according to me, is a perfect start to any beach day! The building itself is just a few steps from the sand and surf- and every beach accessory you could want is provided. There’s also a heated rooftop pool, a great place for swimming or laying out, and here again it faces the ocean, and the view up there is incredible.. The condo itself is very comfortable, we enjoyed our time here.

Perfect getaway!

I'd sum up our experience at this property in one word: Flawless. The hosts are most accommodating and fabulous to work with. Their home is lovely and inviting with everything you need for your stay right down to a tea kettle! I know it's a small thing but being a tea drinker a great addition. It has been my experience most folks don't have one available. The view is super. I could have spent most of my time on the porch. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning.

THE place you want to stay to rest, relax and rejuvenate

A place to rest, relax and rejuvenate. That’s what my family look for when we search for somewhere to vacation. Bob and Debbie’s place delivers on all counts. As soon as we entered the condo and saw the beautiful view of the beach (literally from one step inside the door) we knew we’d accomplish our 3 R objectives. It only got better from there. We dropped our luggage, grabbed a drink and immediately headed for the expansive balcony. From there you can look way up and down the beach without giving up any privacy from others above, below or to the side. There is nothing like a place that has everything you need… -very comfortable furniture with plenty of seating in the living room as well as dining area. Very well decorated (being a history buff my wife’s favorite was Lewis and Clark expedition chair) -a well outfitted kitchen with a great selection of cookware and nice appliances -plenty of towels (beach and bath) and extremely comfortable mattresses (a must for me – I don’t sleep well on the road) -many games you can play inside and out (had great fun with the Boccie ball set and Bananagrams) with great books and puzzles as well -free Netflix for the downtime between trips to the beach -2 beach bikes (that are free to use) and 2 electric bikes (if you’d like to rent them). Between the beach and bike paths inland there are plenty of places to explore. -a nice large rooftop heated pool that is literally steps away. This was so well heated that we were able to swim even on one of the coolest day we were there (yeah...we were there for record-breaking “low” temps during Christmas ‘22). -well-equipped exercise room also steps away. -very secure garage equipped with luggage and grocery carriers to make move in and move out a piece of cake. Bob and Debbie’s emails before our stay were extremely informative and when I had a question during our stay he responded within an hour via email...and immediately via text/call. Moontide also has a staff that can also help you with anything you need. They were very nice. All in all...we got our 3 R’s worth and more! Thanks for gracious hospitality Bob and Debbie! Absolutely Perfect!

An immaculate and perfectly appointed unit with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The pictures, as beautiful as they are, do not begin to do it justice. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and had everything you could possibly need. We loved starting the day with our morning coffee and ending our day with a nightcap on the balcony. Loved the easy access to the beach and a super short beach walk to a fun ocean front restaurant/bar, Chase’s on the Beach. We really appreciated the owner’s communication before, and during our stay, as well as their flexibility and thoughtful touches. We wil definitely be back!

Great for Beach lovers

The location really cannot be beat. I became addicted to watching the tide go in and out (when we were there), and listening to the waves. Saw dolphins while drinking morning coffee. We were only on property about half the time, but there was so much available for the beach, wish we had more time. Boards, toys, balls, towels, tents, etc. I think VRBO did something weird on the listing... one room says Queen + Twin, but reality was just a Queen. The written description does not mention 2nd bed. We did find a foam Mat/ mattress that could have been used, but the couch was large and comfortable enough as well.

Wonderful!

Despite the terrible mid-November weather (windy, rainy, flooding) we enjoyed our stay and the marvelous view. Couldn't imagine a better place to be stuck inside for a six days.

Bob and Debbie, have been married for 40 years, and together with their 4 children have vacationed at the Moontide many times over the years. Actually purchasing in the 'A' building was a dream that came true in May, 2013. They live in Orlando, where Bob is an Optometrist, and Debbie is a licensed Mental Health Counselor.

The Moontide has a friendly family atmosphere, and has a well earned great reputation for being the best value on the beach. New Smyrna Beach is known for its great fishing (deep sea, surf, intercoastal, and lagoon), golf, shopping, art galleries, and beach atmosphere.

You cannot have a better location to enjoy of the sights and sounds of the beach. Moontide also offers private secured gated garage parking for guests. We have completely renovated this 'beach cottage', with top of the line appliances, flooring, baths, kitchen, furnishings, etc.
