Private lush 2 Acre Mountain Home Maui w/ many amenities

Our Maui home is quiet vacation escape. The upstairs has a master bedroom with a California King mattress with a bathroom having a Jacuzzi tub separate from shower. The secondary bedroom also has a California King mattress with a 3/4 bath. The kitchen has all amenities with dining room seating for 10 plus bar seating. It is adjacent to an outside lanai (patio), seating for four or more; where you enjoy your coffee looking at the distant ocean views and possible rainbows. There is a parlor(den) with TV, Cable, Stereo, Internet and board games/books, etc. Lower level guests must use outside stairs to access lower level; it has two closed bedrooms one with a California King mattress next to a 3/4 bath and one with a queen mattress with an adjoining secondary 1/2 powder bath. You would also have your own parlor(den) w/ an additional queen mattress, sitting area, TV, and cable.

Very beautiful property! It had everything one could want or need and much more!

Home away from home ❤️

My family and I had al wonderful time. The home was large enough for all of us to enjoy together and yet have our own little space. The location is so beautiful and quiet. I was able to get some good rest. The kitchen was clean and large enough to prepare meals for my family. The house was and property is clean and I am ready to book this home for another staycation 🌺 Mahalo nui, Ohana Kanuha 🌺

Perfect spot for a friends reunion

This house in lovely Makawao was perfect for our excursions upcountry and to beaches. We had lots of room to share meals and space to sit and read separately. The beds were comfortable and Tasey was accessible for questions. We recommend the spot highly!

Beautiful house

The home is exactly as described very comfortable. Love the privacy and close to Makawao town. The restaurant’s nearby are great I recommend having bfast at Freshies and dinner at Casanova. Overall we had a great time and will re-book in the future.

Perfect stay

We were blown away to say the least, the property is on a great location is walking distance from good restaurants and stores. The place is equipped with everything a family needs for a comfortable stay. The Hawaiian experience cannot be any better! We all Love the place and will love to go back soon! Great for a family vacation

We really enjoyed the full-sized house, it’s kitchen, views, and location. We were a group of four couples and we never felt crowded. Everything works, good quality, plenty of safe parking. You will love the quiet upcountry location, just the Best Already looing at availability for the fall. Returning for sure!

Great upcountry stay

We had such a great time at Tasey's place. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Tasey responds quickly and we couldnt ask for a better host. The house is equipped with everything we needed and we loved the lanai. It really felt like it was our home for the few days we were there. This was a perfect stay and we would definitely stay again. The one thing that was different is now there is an extra bed, which was perfect! 100% recommend!

50th Anniversary Family Celebration

Beautiful private spacious upcountry home located in a quiet area with a far off ocean view with gorgeous sunsets to the west and Haleakala to the east. Everything we needed was supplied. Landscaping is beautiful with fruit trees and tropical flowers . We enjoyed the lanai for breakfast and sunsets and the large comfortable living areas were beautifully decorated. Wonderful visit!

A Peaceful Mountain Retreat with Stunning Views

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain home in Maui! The location is incredibly private, nestled on 2 lush acres, offering a peaceful escape with stunning views, including glimpses of the ocean.The house itself is spacious and well-appointed. The kitchen was fully equipped, making meal preparation a breeze, and the large dining area provided ample space for our group. For those staying on the lower level, the separate den and additional bedrooms were perfect, with easy access via the outside stairs. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights.We truly appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind. This home had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway in Maui!The only complaint we had was the cleaners arriving before our checkout time, which made us feel a little rushed towards the end of our stay. Other than that, everything was perfect!

When we arrived we found a splendit prepared house. Everything was functional and clean and there were no problems to find our way. It was the fourth time we stayed in Maui but the first time in Maui's upcountry and we learned to love it. All in all we had a wonderful vacation and I will recommend Thies beautiful home. Family visit for an upcountry wedding

The house was wonderful for our stay, each couple/family had plenty of room separately and together. The location was great, very close to downtown Makawao which had good shopping and restaurants. The photos/description online was a little different for the downstairs, the living room space was better than the photos, and the kichen area had been turned into a sleep space, but everything else seemed to match well or be better than expected. Check in/out was very easy. Ammenities were great. There are goats and other animals on the neighboring properly that were fun to watch, the roosters crowing in the morning were a little loud for some of our group, but didn’t bother everyone. Overall, we would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful and private upcountry property

This was a perfect place for us to stay. It is upcountry which is much cooler than Kihei and Lahaina, for instance. It was nice to just relax and watch the neighbor's cows and goats. There is a nearby dog park and school neither of which disturb the quiet qnd peaceful nature of this property. Everything was as described and shown, and everything worked exactly as the owner said it should. There are nearby gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants as well. Thank you, Tasey, for a wonderful place to stay on our vacation

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our time here. Everything was clean and well supplied. The host was very quick to respond to an issue and fixed it quickly. She was very nice and even gave us some activity suggestions. We stayed here with our family of 5 plus my mother and everyone had their own spacious and comfortable room to sleep in. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was really a 5/5 star review, but I marked listing accuracy a 4/5 because it listed the first floor as having a kitchen and the pictures showed an old tv, but they improved it by replacing with nice new tvs and converted the kitchen into more of a bedroom. There was still a fridge and coffee maker down there though I think. We had the kids stay downstairs and they loved having their own space and bedrooms. We enjoyed the view off the lanai and watching the goats and cows. I would definitely stay here again if we ever come back and I would highly recommend this place. It was also a nice location in the mountains where you’re closer to the road to Hana, Haleakalā, the airport, and Costco among other things. Thank you for providing such a nice place for us to stay!

Clean and quiet.

The home was clean. They responded quickly with concerns. The upstairs had some upgrades. Air conditioning upstairs which was important as hot and humid at the time of our stay. Bottom level clean but lacked the upgrades. Laundry accommodations great. Downside, and the reason for four instead of five star rating, is the bottom level, which you access from outside, was very hot. They had swamp coolers to help, but even with them running still too warm. As such, we all slept upstairs. Also, you could see outside from where the swamp coolers vented to exterior. No bugs or mice however. Good thing. Overall, a pleasant experience.

I grew up here on Maui by Mama's Fish House on the beach of Kuau with many fond memories of spear fishing, catching lobster, and grilling our catch on the beach. One day, me and my friends were watching Don Ho singing, 'Tiny Bubbles' at Mama's Fish House. As I grew, I knew upcountry Maui could be my piece of paradise in the clouds. The tranquil cool breezes, lush greenery, and the many rainbow skies were for me.

Our piece of paradise is this mountain home. We work all day or play all day; then return to relax at our private country home. We enjoyed raising cattle, planting fruit, and flowers of different varieties to share with our family. The elevation keeps it cool and green year round. There are close amenities, family fun activities, shopping and amazing restaurants.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The sunsets, rainbows, and ocean view from the lanai at breakfast or early dinners are some of the best peaceful memories we have on our home. Our home was built on the back of the property so you'll have privacy. The separate lower level was made for family to visit and have their own personal space. After a hard day at work, sometimes allowing our six children to invite cousins and friends to the lower level to watch their kid movies, play games, or listen to their stereo was perfect if we still wanted a quiet night. The master suite tub for relaxing. Family cooking together and visiting outside our carport with the cool breeze, where our children would run, bike, and play with no worries down the private drive. The small town amenities, activities, and the open green mountain pastures are great memories.
