Welcome to this charming cottage in South Bloomingville. This lovely retreat features 2 cozy bedrooms - one with a king bed and the other with a twin over full bunk bed. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub, shower, and hair dryer for your convenience. The comfortable living room furniture is perfect for movie night and the pool table is awaiting the family challenge! The fully equipped kitchen provides all the utensils and supplies you will need to cook a big meal or a quick snack. You can choose to eat at the kitchen island, on the main dining table or outside on the picnic table. The Blackstone grill (seasonal) on the back patio is ideal for those early morning breakfasts! Once you are fueled up for the day, take a short drive to one of the major Hocking Hills Attractions such as Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave and Cedar Falls, then stop by the Laurelville Fruit Farm for some amazing cider slushes! Whether you're relaxing in the comfortable living space, enjoying the fresh air on the outdoor patio, soaking in the hot tub or hiking the nearby trails, this wonderful getaway is perfect for guests looking to unwind. Our stay was amazing. This place was cozy, clean and organized. We loved how everything was labeled, check-out procedures clear, and Ethan was readily available if we needed anything. The furniture was comfortable and the decorations intentional. There was plenty to do for a night in (board games, pool, bonfire, hot tub, etc). We loved our stay and will be recommending this place to anyone looking for a weekend getaway at Hocking Hills.

The house was very clean and comfortable, with lots of special touches that made us feel right at home, and the host was responsive. We loved the pool table and back patio. I would definitely recommend!

We had a great time hiking in the area. It was our daughters 1st time there and loved it. Our grill dinner was amazing and we had the best time playing pool. The layout of the house is perfect for couples. We will be back again.

This place was great. The pool table was awesome. The fire pit was very enjoyable. The owners even brought us more wood to burn. The hot tub was a bonus. The place itself was very spacious. Memories were made! We didn’t need this much house, but truly enjoyed all the aspects it offered. The kitchen, the game room, the hot tub, the yard … they were all used with our grandkids on this Hocking Hills hiking trip. Kudos to the hosts for such a clean, beautiful home!

Property was very clean, cozy and well located for our needs. We were able to explore the various trails at the State Park and come back in the afternoons for relaxation in the hot tub, a game of pool or curling up on the comfy sofa with a book. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I had a question about the hot tub and Ethan responded immediately. Would recommend to others!

The Grove Barn, formerly known as the Timberline Barn, was thoughtfully built in 2023 by the property’s former owners and lovingly operated as a wedding and event venue. When our family purchased the property in April 2025, we envisioned something more—a place where people could not only gather for special events, but also stay on-site to savor the full experience.
That vision gave rise to Grove Cottage, converted from the original private residence on the property. It’s designed to be a cozy and welcoming retreat for couples, families, and friends—whether you're here for a celebration, a quiet weekend, or simply a getaway in the countryside.

The Hocking Hills is a gorgeous location with so many natural features to explore. We have lived nearby our whole lives and hiked many of the local trails, even getting engaged at a scenic overlook right here in the Hocking Hills! We love the tranquility of the trees and fields and the peace that settles over us as we look out over the back valley of the property.
