Well appointed small home. Had everything you need for a short stay. Beds were comfy and the sheets smelled FANTASTIC! Nice coffee bar with all the necessities. The little touches are a big deal. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for quiet cozy accommodation. There is a bar across the street but never heard anything on a busy Saturday night. Would rent again

Great spot walkable to downtown Madison & the river area. Appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry were. And being able to bring a pet was a big plus.

Dawn's rental was perfect for our weekend stay in Madison. It is the most well-stocked rental we have ever stayed. She has thought of everything, even a welcome gift basket thoughtfully curated. The house was spotless and comfortable. Location was paramount for us, and we wanted a walk-friendly location for our dogs. Dawn's house was perfect. Allowing us easy access to the riverfront and beautiful historic homes to see while our pups enjoyed their strolls. Dollar General Market 1 easy walking block away for quick groceries. There is a bar across the street. We stayed in the middle bedroom because it had fewer windows and was therefore darker and quieter. We brought a white noise maker from home that successfully masked the bar noise. We were never concerned with safety. There is added street noise and music at night that might be a factor for those needing to use the front, street-facing bedroom for young children. Was not a factor for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and hope to have the opportunity to return.

Very nice, clean and charming place downtown with great views. Parking is a challenge as property is across for bar with only street parking. Also unit is a two bedroom with no doors between for privacy and noise. One bedroom is in front room by street and blinds on door are broke so let in light or lack of privacy. Don’t stay long term and need to make changes, you will just loose all money paid.

Very clean! Our host was very helpful in communicating before our stay to make sure check-in was smooth. The deck out back was picturesque and materials for a fire were available for the fire put. We didn't need it but there was laundry available also. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

This is a very charming house, with an excellent view of the river. They only downfall is the bar across the street gets pretty noisy after midnight.

The family and I were very pleased with the rental. It is obvious that the owners take all travelers needs into consideration. It had everything you would need. Everything from plastic wrap and a can opener to q-tips and shampoo/conditioner. The convenience of having a home with all the amenities is just so nice. It even has a washer and dryer. The owner also has a coffee bar setup with a Keurig and Keurig coffee/hot chocolate cups and much more. The beds were comfortable. The a/c really gets going at night, so it gets cold but there was also extra blankets provided. There is some noise coming from the saloon across the street but we travel with a sound machine so it wasn’t bothersome. Very clean and cozy. It was perfect for our family and we were so happy they are pet friendly. Location was nice too, you can see the Ohio River from the back porch and then walk a block to get to Main Street. Would definitely stay again.
