We absolutely loved staying here! The location is amazing Playa Fortuna is such a great beach. Our 10 year old loved skim boarding, boogie boarding and playing in the waves. There is a short walk from the house to Caribala, a cute little bar with amazing drinks and food. Beyond that is a river that comes into the ocean. Nice to have fresh water to rinse off in. Really close walk or drive to the Kioskos for food and treats and a few souvenir stores. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. The rooftop area is amazing. A lot of different sitting areas, layout chairs and a nice bar. We will for sure return to this property!!

Loved to rooftop space! Being right on the ocean was extremely tranquil. Close proximity to the beach made access easy. Thanks for the amazing accommodations!

Lovely apartment however, it is up three flights of stairs which is not mentioned and may be harder for older travelers. Upon arrival we walked in to find a dead cockroach. The living room lamp shade dusty and rusted and the ocean view window although offering a nice view, the hardware needs updating as it made it very hard to open and was even detached from the window sill on one side. Aside from not opening it for fear that it would collapse it needs cleaning. The private balcony is ample and comfortable but the hammock was terribly tattered so did not use for fear of causing it further damage. Grill is rusted and needs to be replaced was not able to enjoy that either. Lastly, bedding had polyester sheets which retain heat not allowing for a comfortable sleep.Plusses; The apartment was well stocked, bathrooms were clean and the view was spectacular.

We spray inside and outside regularly many times every year. I come to the island very often and always check everything and make sure working and good order. After you left, I came and have been living here since and don’t see any pests inside or upstairs at rooftop terrace. I don’t even see mosquitoes too. I checked and use the hammock it is just fine. The portable BBQ grill is dirty the cleaners don’t clean them because they don’t encourage guests use the grill. The guest can buy a small portable grill that is inexpensive if BBQ is definitely food the guests want to cook. I replaced the lamp cover in the living room. In the description I did say it is on the 3rd floor and with rooftop terrace. The building does not have elevator and 28 steps from the ground to the 3rd floor.

My family and I recently spent six nights at the condo and we loved it. The ocean view and private rooftop balcony were absolutely amazing.Communication with the property contacts were timely and professional and access to the unit was easy.Some negatives include a loud refrigerator, lack of cleaning supplies, some ripped/stained bedding, and poor-quality beach chairs. Regardless, we would certainly return to this condo as the price was fair and the pros far outweighed the cons.

We had a little struggle with the door code, but figured it out. The shower frame in the master bedroom is loose, so we were careful. The fridge made noises. The hammock fell in use but nobody got hurt. We should not have used it as we already had seen the corrosion in the supporting wall hooks. Otherwise, the unit is as advertised. Great location, excellent views of sea & mountains, the place is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. All in all, this is a nice place and we would visit it again.

Condo is in good location with rainforest and good restaurants nearby. Rooftop patio was the best part of our stay. We enjoyed listening to the sound of the waves. Listing said this condo has access to the beach. It doesn't. There's very little sand and no way to access the beach - just FYI for others. Condo building is gated and safe.Our biggest complaint is lack of or confusing communication. Directions to the condo were incorrect. It got us to the street but not the building. Our flight was late, so it was dark and we drove around for an hour trying to find it. Called Vrbo but owner was unavailable. We finally found it by looking at photos on Vrbo and finding the name of the condos on an exterior photo of the building. We put that in GPS, and it got us there.We had trouble with the remote to the living room A/C unit, but no directions were provided. Checkout instructions said to load the dishwasher, but there is no dishwasher. We were surprised by a "light switch" that says "hot water," but we turned it on before taking a shower, and it worked fine. Refrigerator is very loud. Master bathroom had a water leak, which was reported.

I would like to say that the view and sounds of the ocean were amazing. Now with that said. The main shower handle was broken and dripped, There was a used bar of soap in the shower. There was also what looked like blood on the wall in the bathroom and the sink didn't drain well. The dryer was full of lint with hair and sand from the previous people. The dining room chairs are delicate and wobbly. In the kitchen there is no stove or dishwasher and the cupboards and drawers were just full of what looked like junk. Even one empty cupboard would have been nice. There should be a dehumidifier running in the bedrooms because the sheets felt wet even though they weren't. Guest bed was what felt like a box spring so not comfortable. We also had roaches we found on the 4th day even though we were taking trash out. That was a breaking point for me but nothing was available within a reasonable price spring break week. There were no beach chairs, only camping chairs so prepare for that. We bought some at Walmart. Outside - there are stray dogs in the gates because the gate and/or the door by the trash is always open. People leave trach and food outside to feed the animals which was disturbing. Beach access - no there is not. Walking the path to the beach access is covered with rock from a previous hurricane that you cannot get to the beach on. The owner was told about these issues with very little care and zero help. This is our 5th year in PR.

Thank you for the feedback. The 2nd bedroom has brand new 14” deep Memory form (Novaform) mattress replaced, the dining table has 6 brand new padded chairs purchased. The pictures are updated in the listings. The kitchen has countertop cook stove with 4 burners. Because of limited kitchen cabinets spaces and we don’t expect large party of guests stay, we decide not use a regular dishwasher. This is a home I live too so the kitchen cabinets and drawers are fully stocked with the everyday items. We spray the places regularly if you reported the issues during your stay we would send the cleaner to do the cleaning for you. Sorry you are not happy with my place and no matter what we improve we cannot let everyone be happy. Check out my reviews on the other vacation app I am a superstar there. I care and listen and always tried the best effort to improve the living conditions.
