Only two blocks to the beach, less than a block to Island View Casino, and in the heart of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Casa Verde a cozy two-bedroom bungalow within easy walking distance to white sands and beautiful sunsets, Gulfport's only casino, Island View, and less than a mile to the downtown Gulfport restaurant district.

This charming bungalow decorated with cool, vintage items has two bedrooms with Queen beds and Smart TVs, and a large bathroom with a double shower and vintage claw-foot tub.

Casa Verde is the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway, as well as week-long vacations with the family.

Loaded with amenities, you will find a clean, artistically decorated space with all the conveniences of home.

Casa Verde's kitchen has most of what you need to whip up a vacation meal. It is equipped with an electric oven/stove, microwave, wine cooler, fridge, blender, and all the utensils you will need for preparing meals on days you rather stay in the comforts of home, rather than eating out at the numerous Gulfport hot spots.

The living room provides a comfortable place to lounge in front of the flat-screen SmartTV.

There is a fenced-in backyard with a dog house for your furry friends, and the front porch is perfect for relaxing.

Being Gulfport is a port city, please be aware that there are train tracks located behind the home. It is one of those things we have to accept if wanting to be close to the beach. We do provide earplugs for each guest to help those who are not accustomed to it.

***Pets are allowed for a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Please select that you will be bringing a pet when making the reservation or we will need to send an additional payment request after booking***

***There should be no more than six people on the property unless prior permission is given. No events or parties of any kind. We have installed exterior security cameras for the safety of both guests and property outside of the home. There are no inside cameras.***

1st Vacation

Everything was amazing. It was an impromptu vacation and couldn’t have been any better if it was planned. The house was amazing, beyond expectations. The decor was beautiful. Not over the top, with an at home feel. I would definitely stay here in the future.

Great getaway!

This location was great in Gulfport! Close to Island View casino and downtown Gulfport. The house has a lot of charm and there is a train that runs behind the property but it actually added some charm to the experience. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing house

I loved everything about property. Our dogs enjoyed fenced in back yard. The neighborhood was quiet. The beds were comfortable and relaxing. We spent 3 nights there and we definitely will book again! Only small problem was bedroom door handle came off door.

Cozy Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Verde. Close to everything on a beautifully charming street. Liz was great and very accommodating. I can't wait to come back! Loved everything about this charming bungalow.

Loved the house!

We found our stay to be very comfortable & loved the house! It felt just like staying at a good friend's place, it had everything we needed & we felt right at home. The addition of the train outside the back yard made for a fun adventure!

Old house with a fab location

Everything was great. Its is a HOT summer so it was a little challenging getting it very cool at night. That is just this record heat. Fabulous deal! Recommend

Great stay in Gulfport

This cottage worked out great for us! While the first night was a challenge for us and our dog due to the train noise and a thunder storm, the train noise the remaining noise did not bother us. The cottage was clean and very confortable and we would definitely stay again if we returned to Gulfport.

Gulfport beach fans

Spacious and nice cool place to return to after being in terrific heat of the day. Decent location a few blocks from the coastal highway and beach. The home is a bit older and could use some sprucing up and some attention to deep cleaning but overall I’d recommend it.

Casa Verde…Great location! Gives off Nashville vibes💛

Came to town for a softball tournament/family vacation. Great location, close to beach, cute, comfy house. Check in was super easy and we had a great stay! Would definitely stay again. The train wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be and we stayed in the North bedroom. Our kids were in the front and never heard a thing.

Amazing

The bungalow was clean and cozy. Everything was exactly as advertised online. Great and quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend it. We plan to stay again on our next visit to Gulfport.

Celebration of life

I came to Mississippi for the first time with my boyfriend, his brother and his wife. We were meeting up with family on the beach for 4th of july for a celebration of life as their father had recently passed at the beginning of the year. This little house was absolutely perfect for the time we were here. We were all so comfortable and check in/ check out was incredibly smooth and easy! We will definitely try booking this same place if/ when we rewritten to MS. THANK YOU, Carmen + Gunner Chris + Emma

Perfect spot

Clean, spacious house with an amazing bathroom. My wife loved the tub and I have never experienced a shower so huge. Very close to the beach, just wish it had been warmer. Also close to 90 and Pass Road. Those will take you anywhere you want to go. Owner has put together a great resource of restaurants, attractions etc. Everything about the place is thought out with the renter in mind. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable and Cozy Casa Verde

We recently stayed for the second time at Liz's Casa Verde. We love the proximity to the Island View casino, all the restaurants on Hwy 49, and of course, the beach. The house itself is very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom is great! The fenced backyard is nice if you have dogs, my dog loves it. The train is a minor annoyance but easy to get used to and even sleep through. I would definitely recommend Casa Verde!

Family Vacation

The house is about 4 blocks from the beach and you have to walk across the highway. The manager communicated with us easily. The house does need some yard maintenance and some deep cleaning. We enjoyed our stay very much though and would definitely stay again. It is an older home just as the pictures show.

Loud train

The location of the house was perfect and it’s in a pretty side of the town close to the beach and casino. The train is so loud and right by the house! I would suggest blackout curtains bc it gets so very bright in both bedrooms very early.
