If your looking for OCEAN FRONT , this is it! Regardless of the weather, you will love your stay here! Bring your binoculars to watch the sea life swim by...whales, dolphins, seals and otters!

Our cozy and comfortable beach house is located on the bluff above Seacliff State Beach and offers magnificent views of Seacliff State Beach and Monterey Bay. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and will sleep up to six. The king bedroom has a sliding glass door that offers ocean views and sounds of the surf. The queen bedroom also has a sliding glass door that opens to the side patio. and you can hear the waves. The last bedroom has a double bed. There is also a small bonus room/den. The gas fireplace log set in the beautiful river rock fireplace makes it easy to stay warm on a cold winter day or warming up after a swim in the Pacific. Satellite TV is available in the living room, the king room, and the bonus room. Wireless internet is available to keep you connected. Our kitchen has a 5 burner gas range, convection microwave and granite countertops. It is also fully outfitted with utensils and table settings for at least 6 guests. Small appliances, pots, pans, and a wide variety of spices make it easy and fun to stay in and cook a meal. Or, walk to one of the several restaurants close by for a fun evening out. The Trex deck has a gas BBQ, outdoor patio furniture and is great for hanging out and entertaining. The driveway has parking for 2-3 cars. Just a short walk to the beach - this is the perfect place for a family vacation or a romantic getaway for two! Deck was expanded and a cable style fence was installed in March 2023 for your safety!

Stays in the summer time are 7 night minimum, Monday-Monday. Please send message to owner for other date options.

Beautiful little spot

Wonderful spot for a short getaway. The views are excellent, kitchen is well appointed, and there is walkable beach access.

Spectacular house with true ocean views great visit

The Aptos beach house was just as spectacular in reality as it appears in photos, and owner Gina was very responsive and helpful. The location is unbeatable, with unobstructed and gorgeous views of Seacliff Beach State Park, which had spectacular waves throughout our 6 days. The beach, Marianne's Ice Cream and a couple of cute restaurants are a short walk away and Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel and the Redwoods state parks are all an easy drive. We flew into San Franscisco, about an hour and a half drive. My husband and I, and our 3 adult offspring stayed very comfortably in the house through Christmas and the first few days of Hanukkah, and we made many of our meals in the kitchen and outdoor grill. Everything worked well and there were plenty of plates,utensils, pots and pans etc. We enjoyed the views, fireplace and movies and board games on rainy nights. I highly recommend this beautiful rental and would definitely stay there again!again.Weseeking

Beautiful view

We had a girl's weekend and we had the best time. Property is just as listed. It has a cabin like feel. The views of the ocean are unbelievable. We would have morning coffee on the patio. Then evening wine inside when it was chilly. Fireplace just topped it off. There were plenty of dishes, cups, utensils. There is a corner store in walking distance and also a path that takes you straight to the beach. I would highly recommend this place and gladly stay again.

Beautiful restful and inviting

The VRBO presentation is very close to how the property presents. The layout of the house and patio is convenient and welcoming. The space is designed to provide the best space available for the best access to views. This is a wonderful retreat.

Always a fantastic getaway

This was our second time we stayed in this property and it was just as amazing as the first. Can’t go wrong with waking up and being steps away from a peaceful morning walk along the ocean watching the waves and the wildlife. Gina was also quick to respond when assistance was needed, thank you for hosting another amazing getaway!

Great Weekend in Aptos

Our family of four stayed here in late August 2024! Had a great time. Great communication with owner. Property has everything you need, everything worked, and absolutely wonderful view of the ocean\bay. Very comfortable furniture and layout! Walk to the beach and area marts. Safeway, etc.. literally few blocks away! We would love to stay again!

Great views and plenty of space!

We stayed with 4 adults and 2 young teenagers. The house has all the comforts of home. The kitchen was fully stocked with more glasses, cups, plates, pots, etc. than I’ve ever seen in a rental! There is also a good BBQ which we used many times. The dish-washer and other appliances were high quality. The sun room is part of the dining area which makes it a great place for everyone to hang out and enjoy the view. The views are amazing, both from the sun room and from the large deck. The location is just steps away from stairs down to the beach, or you can walk down to Marianne’s for the best ice cream around. If you like gourmet food shopping, do yourself a favor and take the short drive to Deluxe Foods market. Overall, we loved the property and location and hope to stay here again!

The Perfect Getaway!

This house is the perfect spot to stay for day trips to Monterey, Carmel by the Sea and Big Sur. We so enjoy the antiquity of the property, the deck on back, and the FULLY stocked kitchen for our meals. Sleeping with the windows open and hearing the ocean was awesome. We will definitely ear mark this property for future stays! Thank you Gina!!!

Rustic, comfortable in old neighborhood.

The house is rustic but comfortable, and the neighbor has been there for a long time. Views are great. Leave all doors shut to keep uninvited visitors (i.e. rodents) into the house.

Amazing views!

This is a cute cottage right on the sea cliff with amazing views of the ocean. We saw otters and seals with our binoculars and watched surfers too. The bedrooms are small, but have very comfortable beds. One bedroom has an ocean view. The bathrooms were tiny, but functional. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped and has almost any gadget or appliance that you could want. The living room and family room were larger than expected. The location is convenient and the view is fabulous. We sat on lounge chairs and watched the ocean while relaxing. Marianne's ice cream is a few blocks away, as is a Mexican restaurant and a small grocery/liquor store. Safeway is 3 minutes by car and there is a great smoothie store in the same strip mall. We highly recommend this cozy cottage and hope to go back soon.

Great Location

We came here for a vacation with our adult daughters and two grandchildren to visit our son. The house was a great location for listening to the ocean and watching the ocean wildlife! Host was great to work with and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, cozy cottage!

Loved this cottage. So cozy with the river rock fireplace and the floor to ceiling windows with the ocean view! We were 4 friends staying so the bed/ bath ratio was perfect. Location perfect for exploring Santa Cruz Bay and Monterey Bay. I want to come back every year!!!

Ocean view

Easy access from Highway one. Nicely furnished, plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture, to sit on and enjoy the view. Kitchen well furnished. The main bathroom is quite small and difficult for a tall person to use. The wrong entry code was given, so it took awhile to contact the property manager and obtain the correct code. Bathroom carpets and windows need cleaning.

Wonderful Beach House!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was as described in the listing and we felt comfortable right away. We loved the multiple living spaces and the house was equipped with everything needed throughout our stay. The ocean views from the house were absolutely lovely. A great view of the historic SS Palo Alto cement ship with all the ocean birds was an unexpected treat! The path to the beach was great for walks along the water. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Beach House

This is a great little beach house. It is in a great location and the view is amazing. It has a fantastic deck and everything you need for a family vacation. The house was larger and brighter than it looked in the photos. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the BBQ worked perfectly. The bathrooms were very small but in good working order and clean. The house is walking distance to a Mexican restaurant, pizza parlor, burger joint and Ice Cream shop. There is also a little deli that had coffee and pastries. The walk down to the beach is easy, however it is a climb to go back up. We were able to drive down and park for $10 so we didn’t have to haul all the chairs, umbrella and cooler. Our only complaint would be the construction next door made it unpleasant to sit out on the deck during the day. This is not the owners fault and we understood but it was loud, especially when they ran into the deck with the mini CAT and shook the house at 8:00 AM. Yikes! Overall we loved the house and would definitely stay here again.

Can't wait to return!

We love everything about this home. It's so comfortable and spacious. Our family of four found plenty of space to be together or spread out for a little privacy. The furniture is so comfy and well-kept. The outdoor spaces are just as great. We also love the location. We walked to a great Indian restaurant, ice cream, pizza, and Mexican food. Cooking at home was a great option as well. They have everything you need. We loved the very short walk to the beach and nearby state park bluff. You can walk forever along the beach from here. It's so hard to leave but we hope one day to return. We highly recommend this property and the management. Very professional and helpful. Thank you!

Perfect getaway

Views were breath taking at all times of the day and the house was well equipped with everything we needed for our family getaway. Beach was steps away and Gina was a great host and made it so easy to extend our stay when we weren’t ready to get back to reality. This place was everything we’d hoped and more!

New Favorite Destination

What a comfortable, accessible home away from home for experiencing the ocean and the Seacliff community! Seating, both indoor and outdoor, is plentiful and very comfortable. Additionally, the living spaces in this home are even more spacious than they appear in photos, allowing each person in our family to find a personal spot to relax or study. Wonderful views!

Really enjoyed the home overlooking the bay. Felt much safer with the new railing on the deck. Ideal place to base camp to explore the whole region from Monterrey to Santa Cruz.
