Unharmed by the recent storms!

Large 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with full ocean views from the spacious second floor living room, master bedroom, patio and both large decks. Just steps to the sand with breathtaking ocean views from all three levels. This home is on Beach Drive, where families have been vacationing for generations.

3rd floor:
-ocean view master suite with king, full bathroom, and private deck
-bedroom with 3 twin beds plus 3 cubby beds (twin size)
-second full bathroom

2nd floor:
-kitchen, living room, dining room, balcony with fire pit, gas and charcoal bbq

1st floor:
-bedroom with queen bed (ocean view)
-bedroom with 3 twin beds (ocean view)
-full bathroom
-laundry machine

House rules: quiet hours begin at 10pm. Please do not block the neighbors driveway.

*Neighbors are doing construction so there may be noise on the weekdays between 8am-5pm*

great property

This was an amazing home on the beach. Big house with lots of beds which were very comfortable. Perfect for my daughter's 16th birthday weekend. The teenage girls loved the cubbie beds! Walkable to Rio Del Mar with cafe, deli and restaurant. Out door deck was relaxing and had a beautiful view. Grill was great. Master bedroom is big and private with its own balcony. It is an older, charming home. We all loved it. Just bring your own food storage things like tupperware and plastic bags if you need them. Can't wait to come back here!

My wife grew up in Santa Cruz.....the property was in a spectacular location......the property itself could use a little refurbishing.....that being said it was fine....loved watching the whales and the anchovy run...amazing....would rent it again

Annual Beach Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The views were amazing especially from the Master Suite on the third floor. The property had everything you need for a family beach vacation. Our grandkids loved sleeping in the cubbies and there was plenty of room for everyone. The BBQ was in good shape and so was the kitchen appliances and dishes. The parking was easy and convenient as well. We also appreciated the local bottle of red wine.

Overall experience

Property is outdated. Found worms and centipedes in the kitchen each morning, that wasn’t pleasant. Master bath shower is a very slow drain, don’t like standing in excess water while I shower. Great view and location! Parking was better than expected!

Amazing home and location !

This was an awesome stay - the house looked just as nice as the photos. Amazing morning views from the living room and master. Host was extremely communicative. Kids loved it. Would highly recommend! It was a bit pricey for only a 2 night stay, but overall a great experience and location.

Review

Location is great. Would describe house as funky. Huge stains in the upstairs bedroom. It was eclectic. Need new couches in living room. Overall, ok, but would probably not stay here again. Tightly wound spiral staircase is dangerous to lower level. Had one fall during visit.

Lovely for walking shore line.

Relaxed view of bay. Full vista of sandy beach and horizon. Our dogs loved watching the people and cars pass by from front porch. Master bedroom and living room had fabulous view. All other bedrooms not so much. All family members were happy!

Amazing Location!

The house was located in an ideal spot in Aptos - right across the street from a beautiful beach. We spent a lot of time on the beach and in the water. The waves were not big when we were there and broke right on shore, so it was actually pretty good for some newbies bodysurfing. The view is spectacular. The house is in decent shape and it was clean. It also had all the kitchen staples stocked and pots and pans, silverware, cups, etc.. Bathrooms had fresh linens, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. My only complaint is the beds. There was one good, big bed upstairs that my parents slept in. The bed my wife and I slept in was very uncomfortable and loud every time we got in or out or turned over in the bed. The rest were bunk beds, a twin bed, and cubbies. Overall it was a great experience.

Great family beach get-away

We spent two nights, for Easter weekend. Fantastic location, literally just a few steps from the sand. We could sit in the family room, or on the deck and see the kids playing on the beach. Our family vacation included 4 adults and 6 children, ages 7-17. Everyone was happy with their rooms and beds. Great layout for family fun, plenty of room. No complaints and highly recommended. Thank you!

Fabulous Location!

Awesome location steps to the beach. Third year renting this house. New owners/Propery Managers and this year 2022 has by far been the best! Many little upgrades throughout the house that make the stay more enjoyable. Very prompt response whenever we need anything or had questions. Highly recommend.

This house met all of our needs. Kid friendly for sure. The kids had a blast. Plenty of space to accommodate our family and friends. I would definitely book again.

Lovely home and location but needs extreme updating!

Home location and view is amazing! Inside bathrooms and decor need extreme updating. No beach towels or beach chairs No extra wood for fire pit Outside trash cans were full All furniture and bedding are very outdated For the price/cost of what we paid I would expect the home to be more modern and have more amenities! I am also a US Army veteran and what I would request wholeheartedly is that the shredded and faded flag flying in front of the house be replaced. Thank you!
