Fantastic Stay & Wonderful Host!We had a wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean and set up so well for our family. While the house is older and shows a bit of its age, the thoughtful layout and functionality far outweigh any cosmetic quirks—it gave us plenty of space to comfortably spread out. The host was absolute perfection—super easy to talk to, friendly, and extremely communicative. When we ran into an issue with the refrigerator, she went above and beyond to be accommodating while it was being serviced. Highly recommend this place for any families looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-hosted stay!

This beach house was amazing! It had plenty of space, a beautiful view, and everything we needed for our stay. It’s also very kid- and pet-friendly, which was a huge plus. We’d definitely love to stay here again. We didn’t need much communication with the host because everything was clearly explained and easy to find.

Overall it sits 20 steps to the beach and you walk to the stairs down to the beach. The rooms are nice. There is no bathroom in the living/kitchen area, you need to go upstairs or downstairs to get to the restroom. The bbq was nice. The toaster didn't work. We had forgotten our plastic wrap and plastic bags, so bring that and foil. One of the cupboards was broken. The patio table and chairs are very old and needs to be replaced. There is two bedrooms downstairs when you drive up right near parking so there is no view of the ocean in those bedrooms if you plan on parking in the driveway, although you can hear the ocean. If you stay in those bedrooms you either have to use the spiral staircase to get to the kitchen or walk outside and up the stairs to go through the front door. A little weird design. The only room with an ocean view is the master bedroom. It definitely could be updated but it may be cheaper than some of the other homes? The experience was wonderful and I brought my own pan and knives just because. Seems like you could use all the decks but the only one we used was off the kitchen. The lighting is dim and one of the lamps in living room doesn't work. Hope this gave you some insight ! We had fun and loved how close the beach was! Thanks!

Excellent Family Beach Vacation

We visited the local attractions (boardwalk, Roaring Camp, aquarium) and spent most of the time enjoying the beach. The host was supportive of all needs, there were ample towels, and the home is wonderful.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Right across from the beach and a beautiful view. Had a great time with the whole family and we’re looking forward to booking this spot again next year.

Beautiful beach views!

Fun beach house with a beautiful view of the ocean. Plenty of space for a larger group. We loved all the amenities it offered and would definitely rent again.

We most definitely enjoyed staying in the house. Location was wonderful cause it was so close to the beach. Very pleasantly surprised to see that there was so many beds in the house. I guess I missed that when I was reading description. And upon arriving, we saw our first sight out of the ocean, which was a couple of orcas, which was amazing. I would definitely recommend this house and I would definitely come back again. I would recommend looking into a new barbecue as it did not light like it should. But other than that, everything was great thank you for our stay.

My wife grew up in Santa Cruz.....the property was in a spectacular location......the property itself could use a little refurbishing.....that being said it was fine....loved watching the whales and the anchovy run...amazing....would rent it again

Amazing home and location !

This was an awesome stay - the house looked just as nice as the photos. Amazing morning views from the living room and master. Host was extremely communicative. Kids loved it. Would highly recommend! It was a bit pricey for only a 2 night stay, but overall a great experience and location.
