We booked this property weeks in advance and were looking forward to our stay. Unfortunately, we never received any check-in information. I reached out to the host the day before our scheduled arrival, only to find out that construction was making the property unavailable.The host then had me communicate outside of Vrbo in an attempt to place us in another condo. While that condo was nice, it simply could not accommodate my family properly and was not a suitable replacement for the property we originally booked.I have repeatedly requested a refund since the property we reserved was unavailable, but unfortunately, I still have not received one. Communication throughout this entire situation has been extremely difficult and frustrating. We were fortunate enough to find another place to stay, but having to deal with this during our vacation was incredibly stressful.The property itself may have been nice, but the way this situation was handled completely overshadowed the experience. If you want a stress-free vacation and reliable communication, I would recommend staying elsewhere.
