Completely renovated adorable beach bungalow! 1 bedroom 1 bath with Queen Bed. Also, an exciting sleeping loft for the kids and an ottoman and futon which fold out to twin beds for even more sleeping space. The perfect place for you and the kids or a romantic getaway for you and yours! JUST 1 BLOCK TO THE BEACH!
Beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops and all new stainless steel appliances, including coffee machine,dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove/range, microwave, & refrigerator with built in water filter. All the cooking utensils you could need!
Recessed lighting throughout, 2 flatscreen HDTV's, and tastefully decorated in coastal decor.
1 car garage with laundry machines and plenty of space to store bikes, surfboards, etc... 1 more parking spot in the driveway and plenty of parking on the street.
Private, quaint, grassy lawn out front with newly added front porch. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail on the adirondack chairs or on the side patio to catch some sun, BBQ and eat al fresco.

A Beach Fix during Denver Winter

We had a wonderful time, mostly enjoying walks along the ocean with our Westie, Zoey. The cottage was perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed being there.

Perfect for the two of us

The house was perfect for the two of us with plenty of space and all that we needed. The neighbourhood was safe and friendly, convenient for walking into town or to the railway station, or to the beach even! We would definitely hope to revisit if ever we wanted to stay in this part of California. Thanks so much.

This is a great bungalow for two

Overall this bungalow was conveniently located, clean, and with updated finishes. It was walkable to the beach and town, and just a 15-minute drive to Legoland. Families should take note that the loft above the kitchen is not really workable unless you bring your own inflatable mattress or sleeping bags, and even then does not seem really safe for young kids due to the lack of railings and the rickety ladder. If you do have a third person, there was a fold-out couch that was not very comfortable. As a result, I would say this is a great bungalow for two, but not for three or more.

Convenient location

We loved that the property was walking distance from the beach. This saved us time and the hassle of finding beach parking. We enjoyed grabbing coffee at the shop on the corner and sitting on the beach every morning. I would definitely visit again!

Settling our soldier

Great little cottage! Loved the walks with our pooch, beautiful gardens at every turn, and the sunsets on the beach at the end of Ash St…. Hope to be back soon, would absolutely stay here again!

Family Getaway

This property was perfect for our family of three. With a small child we appreciated the upstairs loft hangout, proximity to the beach, and front yard. Mornings were spent enjoying the outdoors on the patio with coffee and breakfast. Afternoons spent at the beach with about a .75mile walk to the beach. Neighborhood was quiet and easy to navigate. Walking distance to many great places.

Ocean/beach

Cottage is very nice clean, close to the water. Nicely decorated just wanted to mention that it’s says two blocks from the beach. I found it to be more like 4 to 5 to a sandy area. ( large rocks)

You will find everything you need at Myers Beach House

Great location and neighborhood. Block to the beach to watch all the surfers and walk to the nearby Pier. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Owner very helpful. Only downside, and it was minor and unavoidable, was there is a house being built next door. Worth a stay!

Perfect location and so peaceful

I stayed for two nights and had an event just south of the Oceanside pier. This little place was so close that I walked and enjoyed the fun shops along the way. Perfect bodega and coffee shop on the corner. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thank you so much :)

Beautiful space and perfect location

We enjoyed the convenience to a variety of restaurants, bakeries, and to the beach. The cottage was so well maintained and nicely decorated. Clean, comfortable, and affordable. The fans helped cool things down, along with the open windows to pull in the ocean breeze.

Super comfy stay right near the beach.

It was refreshing to stay In a house rather than a hotel. The owner/operator was nice and easy to communicate with, as well as the house cleaner who was friendly. I don’t really have any complaints, other than I did find things a little less than clean. We brought a bunch of food so we could cook instead of eating out the whole time but I found dishes dirty in the cabinet and there were various hairs around the kitchen and cabinet. Not a big issue but I think it needs attention in that area. Also, we had the doors and windows open because there is no ac, and I kept hearing people yelling and talking and just hanging out on the street. But they cannot do anything about that. I give 4/5 stars, taking one away for cleanliness.

Quick Stay

Overall, the Unit was clean and in relatively good condition. I would spend the money to replace the toilet seat and upgradee the towels. Having additional fans was helpful since we stayed in July.

Great place, quiet and safe. Loved coffee a block away. Close to friends who lived close by. Walked the beach, ate and drank at close restaurants.

Anniversary trip

We had an amazing time. Excellent restaurants. Walking distance to the beach was amazing. Not far of a walk to Oceanside Pier. The house was perfect for the two of us with our German shepherd. Talking about wanting to go back and stay.

Perfect Location!

We are local residents of Oceanside. I grew up here and my husband in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We are huge fans of the beach...as are our 2 children. We love to surf, paddle board and spend time enjoying all the outdoor activities that San Diego has to offer. You cannot beat the weather here!

We purchased the 4-unit property as an investment. It was near our home making it easier to manage the tenants who live there permanently. But, after spending time there, we realized that the neighborhood would make a great destination for tourists. We travel A LOT ourselves and have had plenty of experience renting vacation homes. So, we decided to turn the original home in the front into a prime spot for vacationers as well as have a little getaway for our family too!
