This upscale boutique hideaway features a King bed, sleek contemporary furnishings, small dining area with table and three chairs, and a well-equipped kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, toaster oven/air fryer combo, and Keurig coffee maker—perfect for effortless meals and morning coffee before a day exploring the coast.

Step outside to your semi-private patio, complete with a table and umbrella, where you can soak in the ocean breeze and laid-back SoCal vibes. Guests can also unwind in the outdoor common area, featuring stylish fire pits and picnic tables for casual gatherings.

Perfectly positioned between Oceanside and Carlsbad, our location offers easy access to stunning beaches, local cafés, and boutique shops. Plus, with San Diego just a short drive away, you're never far from world-class attractions, dining, and nightlife.

Pets Considered
Small to medium-sized dogs are welcome with prior approval. We allow a maximum of two (2) pets per stay, with a $75 non-refundable fee per pet.

Please notify us in advance for approval. All pets must be well-behaved and are never to be left unattended in the unit. Please note that bringing an undisclosed pet is a violation of our house rules and may result in immediate cancellation of your stay and a $150 penalty fee.

We stayed here the first two night after our wedding and it was PERFEECT! They had everything we needed, the check in was so easy and it was close to so many great restaurants and places to see! Wonderful stay.

It was our third time staying at this property and it’s always been clean and convenient This visit we we were unable to get local TV stations on the few evenings we were there but otherwise our was very pleasant

It was a perfect getaway for us with two little dogs. We were escaping the heat of Palm Springs. The patio area was so nice, walking distance to restaurants and enjoyed morning walks to Carlsbad which also had many good restaurants. We would definitely recommend South O and will come back.

Property was extremely pet friendly! Bungalow and common areas were well-maintained and clean. Cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was adequate. Location was not too far to amenities. About a 10-minute drive to the pier and beach/harbor area. Overall great stay!

Excellent communication and easy check-in and check-out. The bungalow is tasteful decorated and had everything we needed for a short weekend getaway. Location was great with restaurants, coffee shops, and a small market in walking distance. You can even walk to downtown Carlsbad Village from the place. The minor downside is that it is off of Coast Highway which can be busy and loud so it was not so enjoyable for the outdoor space and keeping windows open at night. I would still consider staying again for the convenience.
