Perfectly Fine Place to Stay

Not the most luxurious, but it definitely does the job. Certainly can't miss the house rules- they might seem a tad odd if you're not local, but definitely understandable, and the host was very nice. They were also accessible if we had an issue, and the location is pretty prime for Big Island properties.

South Kona Beach House

Private beach house, across the street from other homes on the ocean but with a lovely open view of the ocean itself. Eclectic and welcoming Hawaiian decor. Great liana for hanging out and eating. Well-outfitted kitchen for cooking in. Boogie boards and beach chairs available for use. Only about 1/8 mile walk from excellent snorkeling area. Some traffic in front during the day but quiet at night. I would choose to stay here again.

Kona Hawaii on Ali'i Drive

Location is excellent, the vibes are vibing. It is local kine decoration and right across from the ocean. The rules are strict but easy to follow. I would reccomend to anyone needing close location to all things Kona town.

Hawaii With Kids

Our extended family of two grandparents, two parents, and three kids under seven enjoyed this comfortable, well-stocked and friendly home. An older home with traditional decour, like visiting your Hawaiian grandma. Lots of toys for kids, a huge well-furnished deck area, and outdoor garden, and a view (across the road) of the Pacific. A short walk along a road to the beach, or drive to a variety of beaches, restaurants and sights around Kailua-Kona. Very comfortable and relaxing for a family stay.

amazing location, awesome house, great host

great location on ali'i drive, very close walk to the beach for snorkeling and surfing. the host simmy is great, amazing sunsets on the lanai (massive porch), you'll get an amazing sunset every night of your stay!

perfect location, just what we expected

cozy house in a quiet neighborhood, only bird sounds; we walked to the beaches; short drives to coffee and chocolate farms; fans kept us cool; owner was very friendly & offered tips

This is the perfect Hawaiian house!! Simmy is very welcoming. She has LOTS of beach accessories at the house to make your stay enjoyable. Her patio is the picture of paradise, perfect place to enjoy the sunset over dinner. The bay by the house was my favorite snorkel spot, I enjoyed captain Cook and two step as well which are close to the house. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely Hawaiian style home🌴🌈

Simmy the owner is a sweetheart. The house had everything we needed including beach chairs, boogie boards and all the stuff for a great beach day. Great location on Ali’i Drive. Highly recommend to stay there

great location!

My family (total 7 people) stayed for a week and enjoyed the house and the neighborhood very much. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and eat meals. Beautiful view, comfortable, easy.

Excellent lodging!

We had an enjoyable and memorable time in Hawaii! The property is exactly as described, very well maintained and equipped, quiet environment and walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed several meals watching the sunset. Will definitely book with Simmy again when we come back next time!

Great sunset cottage

Very easy access, good location. House has most everything you need. A bit of street noise but sunsets were beautiful!

gorgeous view from spacious lanai

Our three-generation family spent a week with easy walk to snorkeling, close proximity to shopping center, and huge outdoor space for hanging out, eating, and visiting with extended family who came for food and drink. Kitchen well-equipped and washer/dryer very handy.

The views are amazing from this quaint Hawaiian home!! The most time on the lanai in the morning watching for whales, it was very cool! Simmy was very informative of the island, and very nice! Thank you, Simmy!🙏❤️😇

Wonderful property and location

We lucked out big time finding this property available at the last minute. Wonderful location walking distance from beginner surf break and snorkeling - rare to find both of those activities at the same beach! The lanai was fantastic - we spent every evening hanging out watching the sunset. Really a nice trip.

Relaxing comfortable beautiful view super nice owner

This lovely home is very comfortable and had everything and more for us: beach chairs swim gear rice cooker kitchen supplies galore. The view of the ocean was awesome from the very large comfortable covered patio esp for dinner sunsets. The best part is the owner is readily accessible for questions and any assistance

Excellent Location

This place had everything we needed and a great location. A 5 minute walk to the beach and beach access right across the street where we looked for shells. We also snorkeled from this spot but it is a bit advanced. The lanai was our favorite part. There are some unique aspects of the house but all in all a great place.

Lovely Lanai

The lanai, view and locations make the home a 5. The inside is adequate and beds are comfy, but the lanai is the place to be - great for breakfast, sunsets, and a three. Minute walk to an outstanding snorkel beach - with tons of fish right off the beach. Great supplies with snorkels, chairs, towels, boogie boards and more to enjoy beautiful Kona and beyond!

Aussie Family- visiting for the Ironman event

Great location with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Owner was very helpful and very accommodating! This is a great home perfect for a family. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Thanks simmy hope to come again.
