Take a break and enjoy the tranquility of this location. With the sounds of the stream and views of the mountains, this is the perfect getaway. It is conveniently located 5 miles south of the Grand Mesa National Forest and 5 miles north of th charming town of Cedaredge. It is the ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts year round. Skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, hiking, hunting and boating are some of the activities you can enjoy on the largest flat-topped mountain in the world! The town of Cedaredge has restaurants, shops, wineries and a Pioneer Town Museum. Enjoy live music festivals and lots of local art.

The location is good. About 10 minutes down into Cedaredge and 15 - 20ish up to Grand Mesa.We stayed in the studio unit which is next to a larger rental unit. Outside you are only separated by maybe 10 feet with a see through screen between. The owners live upstairs. The studio was spacious and updated and the owners were quiet. The grounds are lovely with a great view. There is path you can follow to a sitting area on the other end of the property next to a stream. The hot tub was nice and not overly hot or overly chlorinated. The grill is tiny, but worked for two people. The kitchen has appliances and cookware but no plastic bags or foils, so be sure to bring them.One of the owner's cats is very friendly and we enjoyed petting it. We heard the dogs a couple times, but didn't see them.Our first night we were the only renters and it was lovely. The second night a family was renting next door and it changed the experience. We felt a bit crowded and they were loud. The last night the family was more calm and it was better. The point is your experience will depend on your neighbors.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here as we celebrated our anniversary! The views are stunning, and we enjoyed watching the sunset and relaxing in the hot tub. There were plenty of very soft towels to use, both for showering and using the hot tub. The inside lights are dimmable which was especially nice for mornings and evenings, and the outside lights provided pleasant ambiance. The room was well decorated and clean, and both the couch and bed were comfortable. The host was very friendly and available for any needs or questions, which we appreciated! The storage space was a little lacking, there wasn’t a great place to store non-refrigerated food items, and counter space was limited. We could hear the hosts walking around upstairs, which wasn’t loud but we did notice it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place that’s outside of town but close enough both to Cedaredge and Grand Mesa.

Although I grew up on the Front Range of Colorado, I spent a lot of time in the Grand Mesa and Cedaredge as a kid because my grandfather lived here. After my husband and I became empty nesters, we decided to move to the Western Slope. We fell in love with it. Unfortunately, he passed not long after from ALS, but I have decided to stay and manage some vacation rentals. I co-own the property with my mother who also lives here. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing this beautiful location with others.

I love this property because of the amazing Mountain View as well as the sights and sounds of the creek and the forest. It is so peaceful. The neighbors are great as well.
