A beautiful home in a stunning location!

We loved every minute at Retriever Beach near West Jefferson. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished. Each room was perfect! Looking forward to our next visit!

Mountain wedding

Great house with plenty of parking and plenty of room to spread out in the house. We loved having the river view and doing a little trout fishing too!

Christmas Vacation

Property was spacious and very comfortable as advertised. Was a little disappointed in couple of issues, fire pit on porch, LP gas was empty, several days we could have enjoyed sitting on the porch, flood lights did not work, ironically the day we were leaving a tech showed up to fix them, obviously he knew before our stay…..no trash cans, went to dump several times using pass…

Thank you for the review. For future guests, if you have any issues or are out of propane, just give our office a call and we will get a new tank sent out. Unfortunately, bears are common in the area so we cannot leave trash cans outside, but the convenience center is just a short drive away!

Best Ever!!! Even in the rain

We were so thrilled with the house and location...spectacular. We enjoyed the river access and had such a great time sitting out every evening on the deck with the fire pit. Even in the rains of Hurricane Delta we enjoyed our family indoor fun and ran outside to enjoy the beautiful yard once the rain stopped. We have decided this will be an annual trip for our family and we are already looking forward to being there in 2021. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

From the time we walked in the front door, we felt like we were staying in someone's personal home. Very comfortable, inviting and had everything we could ask for. Lots of room for us to spread out and great common areas for us to come together. The covered deck was our favorite place to hang out and play family games. And spending the days in the river were the best! We will be back.

Great for young kids

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I took our four kids (6, 5, 3, 1.5) to this property and it worked great for us! The oldest took the bunk room while the youngest were put in a room with a cot and pack and play (that we brought). Our first impression of the home was that the inside was much more spacious and well laid out than the pictures showed. It was very clean and had plenty of room for everyone to move around. The best part was the beach for the kids. There was about 100’ of shoreline that was easily to explore and wade around in, even for the littlest! Because the current is so swift in the middle and far side, we never went too deep, but the oldest loved floating from one end of the property to the other. Our only complaint was how cold the river water was, but what would you expect when we went in May. We had one small issue that was quickly addressed by the property management company. We will definitely rent this property again!

This place never disappoints

Second time staying and already booked for next trip. The house has everything you need. It rained the first 2 days but that was just fine and allowed us to talk and laugh,listen to it storm under the awesome covered porch. Property fks are a pleasure to work with and very accommodating.

Love it!!

We absolutely loved the house!!! Had everything we needed and space for the kids to run! Our friends rented near by but our house was the house we had Christmas dinner at. Between both family there’s 6 kids and two dogs. They had so much fun skipping rocks in the river. The house was super clean. Every night we had a family of deer come by. If it wasn’t a 13 hour drive from home we would definitely come again.

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful time, the property was amazing and easy to find. Close to down town. The only "problem" I had was working the outdoor gas fire pit and the fireplace inside, but that could have been user error. Even the pup had a great time. Would absolutely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

Tranquil

The cabin was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen had all the comforts of home. Enjoyed the back porch with the river view. We enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard for toasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Will definitely come back. Thank you.

This place is absolutely awesome 👌

Could not have asked for a more perfect house. Reviews did not do this place justice. Everything was set up perfectly. We are still talking about this place and our stay. The weather changed and turned cooler creating a wonderful pre fall vacation. You will want for nothing staying here. Thank you for the experience! We will be back.

Perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay with our two Labrador retrievers. There were lots of walking trails around the property. The dogs had plenty of space to run around in the yard, and easy access to the river for swimming…… they would give this vacation high ratings for sure! The area was absolutely beautiful, as well as the home itself. We spent a lot of time on the large deck overlooking the river. There is a gate to keep the dogs on the deck when needed. We really enjoyed our time here!

IN. LOVE. WITH. THIS. HOUSE.

It was hard to leave after an amazing week at Retriever Beach! The house was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and the perfect size and layout for our group. The private “beach” is the best for sitting with chairs out in the rubber watching the world go by. We’ll definitely be back!!!
