Beautiful getaway in Powder Horn Mountain. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath home sleeps 10 comfortably (1 King, 1 Queen, 2 sets of full bunks) and is fully equipped for your mountain escape. Enjoy a private hot tub, peaceful wooded setting, and access to community amenities—all just a short drive to Boone, NC.

The Space

Modern build, Little Hare Hideaway is a beautifully designed mountain retreat located in the gated Powder Horn Mountain community. Thoughtfully appointed and carefully maintained, this home combines modern comfort with rustic charm.

I planned a relaxing girls’ weekend where we could disconnect and read together. This property was perfect! We had plenty of space, the beds and couches were comfy, and the fire pit and hot tub were great additions. They even decorated for the fall!

Gorgeous house, peace and quiet and connect with nature. Deer, chipmunks and squirrels just feet away. Everything you could want or need for your stay and enjoyment.

Beautifully secluded & scenic

This is a beautiful home away from home. We loved the comfortable beds and treat basket for s’mores; perfect interior layout, exterior was a small challenge with little ones or non 4x4 vehicles.

Perfect relaxing getaway

We loved playing in the creek, paddle boating, swimming, fishing, soaking in the hot tub, s’mores by the campfire, seeing deer and turkeys, and most of all—being together. This home/community was perfect! Highly recommend.

Clean, well designed home in the woods

Great place, very clean, great hot tub, the community swimming pool is in a beautiful setting and very special. Nice grill and well outfitted kitchen. Would like to return!

Mountain stay

The cabin was nice, clean. The kids loved the bunk beds. Peaceful and quiet. Loved all the wildlife. So many activities available that the management even gave us. Just sad we had to leave a little early due to weather but definitely want to come back during nicer weather

We couldn't have asked for more!

The pictures were accurate, the property was immaculate, and it was better than we could have imagined! The owner thought of every little detail down to local handmade soaps, adorable welcome baskets for us and our dog, and the comfiest beds and bedding we've ever had in a rental! The entire property was welcoming and well thought-out; we will absolutely be returning! Thank you for a memorable experience!

Nice cabin

The cabin was very nice. Would recommend some non slip on the outside steps. Very steep and I did take a very nasty fall.
