Located at the estuary of the Nehalem River and the Pacific Ocean, this spacious, family-friendly vacation rental is ready to be your next home-away-from-home at the Oregon Coast. Save a little money and prepare meals at home in the well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and then dine indoors at the table for eight or right outside at the table for four. This property is brimming with entertainment options including a cozy living area with a sectional sofa and flatscreen TV, a garage game room with foosball, shuffleboard, and Ping-Pong, and a soothing outdoor hot tub to cap off your days. The possibilities for fun in this area here are endless and include fishing, crabbing, surfing, kayaking, beachcombing, hiking, and whale watching.

We enjoyed our stay and this location at the beach. The game room was great for our family. A previous review said that the hot tub wasn't working, and it was indeed fixed for our stay. However, I would like to note that there are not ocean views from this property as the title of the listing suggests. Also, the television in the room above the garage did not work.

Perfect for our group and the hot tub and games in the garage kept the kids entertained since it rained the whole time. Host was very easy to communicate with and great location close to the beach. Low tide was amazing to see all the star fish and we saw several eagles at the beach as well. Had a great trip despite the weather and would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The location was fantastic—close to the beach and perfect for enjoying the beautiful scenery and ocean air. We especially appreciated how peaceful and welcoming the space felt. Communication with the host was easy, and check-in/check-out was seamless. Overall, it was a great getaway, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay over for the first 5 days of spring break. Both my parents and my husband’s parents joined our family of 5 for Easter weekend and we had an excellent time with plenty of room for everybody. The proximity to the beach was great, the kids loved the game room and playing croquet in the small yard space. We had Easter dinner at the outside table because it was 70 degrees out! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a birthday trip with 11 family members. This was perfect! Great space, communication was good. And we all had a wonderful time. Short 3 minute walk to the beach. We went to nearby places from Garibaldi to Astoria. Just a great overall trip. Thank you!

Family Getaway

This was the perfect spot for our family! Access to the beach was amazing. Having enough rooms and bathrooms to accommodate our entire family was perfect. The hot tub was the icing on the cake for this house. We will rent this home again.

I was upset that the hot tub was not functioning when we got there and they knew that but had not told us that in advance. We chose this property largely because it had a hot tub. And communicating with them was frustrating because you communicate only with AI bots via text, which aren't able to answer any questions other than repeating what is on the vrbo site. The AI bots told me they had no idea when or if the hot tub coukd be fixed and whether or how much we would be refunded for this problem. Two days later, a human being called me and told me they doubted it would get fixed. The next day, the human being called again and said somebody would be coming out to fix it. And it was fixed. So we did ultimately get a working hot tub for slightly more than half of our stay, and they did refund us a small amount (too small IMO) to make up for not having it for 3 days, which is the only reason this is not a very bad rating. I did not enjoy talking to AI bots which knew nothing about the property and just repeatedly told me "Thanks for your patience. I understand why you're frustrated." I will not stay in a Casago-run property again because of the AI experience. They do respond very quickly, so if you have no problems, I guess it would be fine. The place was fine, good location. Various small problems like not enough garbage liners, paper towels, batteries for TV remotes, non-working shower door.

Great communication from Casago with quick responses to questions. Friendly staff.The main level of the house has a moderately sized kitchen, a small-ish living room (with a sectional couch), a cramped dining area that will snuggly seat 8, a 1/2 bath, and the master bed/bath (king bed). The upstairs has 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full twin), a loft with pull-out couch, and a full bath (shower only). The detached garage has a ping pong table, foosball, shuffle board, and laundry. Upstairs in the garage is a separate unit (king bed pull-out couch), full bath (shower only), a microwave, and mini-fridge. The main living areas of the house were definitely smaller than I expected.The best part of the house was the location! The house is a short walk past 3 other houses to beach access. My kids enjoyed the games in the garage. There's a few sand toys, a couple of clam guns, boogie boards, and 4 beach towels. We would have loved having a couple of beach chairs and crab crackers but couldn't find either.In general, the house is adequate, and we enjoyed our stay. However, it is a bit worn and needs a good, deep cleaning. (Edges of doors were grimy, dust and cobwebs in high areas like light fixtures and stairway, grease on cupboards and ceiling above stove, filthy rug in living room.) Also, the hottub has a major leak. It was half full whenever we went to use it. We had to fill it and wait an hour or 2 for it to heat back up. And the jets didn't work, which was disappointing.

Wonderful house for extended family of all ages!

Wonderful house for our entire family. House was clean and well appointed. Easy walk to the beach. Bikes, body boards, blankets , and towels made beach time easy and fun! Hot tub was an added delight after a long day of hiking and playing!

Amazing winter weekend

Had a perfect stay for two night at this beach house. Everything you could need was there. It was cozy and clean and well equipped. So close to the beach and had a giant game room which, honestly we never got to but loved having he option. 10/10 will try to stay here again.

A Perfect Winter Getaway

Lovely place to stay during stormy Oregon winters, and I can't imagine what it'd be like in the summer! The hot tub was great, the surround sound was great, and it was an overall wonderful experience. 10/10 will return!

Fantastic get away. This house was absolutely perfect for us. Ready & clean upon arrival . We had the most amazing time! Our grandsons throughly enjoyed the game room & fire pit. We had wonderful BBQs, Great well stocked kitchen . We enjoyed most of our meals there . Was a very short walk to the beach. Beautiful by the way. All had fun! Two legged & four. We would definitely stay here again.

Property pictures do not accurately represent the property. The cleaning was marginal at best. It has a lot of potential however it needs serious upkeep.

Great location and space

House is laid out well and location is excellent. Only a block from beach paths and neighborhood is quiet. Games in garage were great though the shuffle board has seen better days. The garage needs a good cleaning as there is a urine smell so we had to keep the doors open while in there.

Bring the whole family! Just watch out on the stairs...

We booked this property for our annual family beach trip and it was great! The garage came equipped with multiple games for us to enjoy together. We were minutes away from several beach access points which made a lovely walking loop. The hot tub is equipped with an assistance arm to help lift the cover so my aging mother was able to open and close it on her own any time she wanted a soak. The only downside was the carpet on the stairs inside the main house was quite slick so we had several slip-fall incidents but no injuries. The kids all thought it was funny to see aunty slip and land on her bottom! This is a wonderful property. We have it bookmarked as a favorite so we can book it again in the future. I definitely recommend it to other large groups. Jut be careful on the stairs ;)

10 AM check out

We were very pleased with the actual stay, but not impressed with Vacasa (the property management company). They contacted us almost a week before to tell us that the hot tub was out of commission. After about 4 exchanges with the text assistant (AI?), I asked for a partial refund because the hot tub was a major reason we chose the property. A day later with no communication, I then pressed about why it couldn’t be fixed in almost a week’s time. They finally let us know the day before that the hot tub was fixed, so all’s well that ends well. The house is super cute and the outdoor area with table, fire pit and the garage with games really helped to extend the smallish living area for our group.

Place has been well used and shows it

Things that needed repair: Main level bathroom, sink drain stopper bent and unmoveable. Shower door does not latch. Shower spigot vey difficult to turn culd lead to someone getting burned. Why were there no tissues in the bathrooms? There was a broken fan in the game room The grill had an empty propane tank, another was delivered but no one was able to attach it as the valve was frozen and had to ask for a working lighter as the one at the place was empty. FYI the 2 large shells that were in the LR are in the closet. The sheets on the bed in the main floor bedroom were quite worn.
