Inside, the home features a comfortable, cozy, queen bedroom and a second room with a small futon, perfect for occasional guests, and a reading nook or flexible office space. The fully stocked kitchen makes cooking at home easy, whether you’re whipping up a full dinner or grabbing something quick before heading out to explore.

For downtime, the house is loaded with board games, offering plenty of ways to unwind or create fun moments with family and friends.

Altogether, Bungalow on Mill is simple, inviting, and perfectly placed. A great fit for anyone wanting comfortable living within reach of everything CDA has to offer. You will be within walking distance of downtown, and a car is recommended for the rest of your stay.

The beds were not the most comfortable and it was a bit annoying that the kitchen didn't have really any of the normal spices. Just a set of normal, everyday, spices would have helped. The property was clean and looked like the pictures. I appreciate the stay!

I'll start with positives: location to downtown CDA/dog beach/parks was great. The house was incredibly clean, and beds were the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a rental. Effort was made to make the interior homey, including fresh flowers upon arrival. Also loved that I could bring my dogs. That being said, there was definitely room for improvement. When we arrived, an oscillating lawn sprinkler was on, drenching the entryway to the house and soaking us and our bags. The electronic lock was not straightforward and we received no instructions. There was no mention of the grill or hot tub in the listing, and no grill tools provided. We did not use the hot tub because we weren't sure if it was for guest use (no, I didn't message the hosts-I realize I could have, just wasn't a priority). The steps are precarious leading up the house, with the bottom one crumbling and uneven. You have to park on a hill, and the passenger can't get in the car due to the retaining wall and foliage. This is a fairly busy cut-through, and due to the parking situation isn't the safest for dogs or children exiting on the driver's side. The lawn was VERY overgrown, with weeds in the rear up to our waists. There was also a locked outbuilding with lawn games, etc. that was inaccessible, and access to the switch for overhead yard lights was inside, leaving us in the dark. Overall, cute house with great access to CDA, but disappointing outside space that may improve with time (recent renovation).
