The property is not new, but that is exactly what we wanted. If you want an utter flashback to the shore of your childhood while being well kept and up-kept with modern amenities like solid WiFi and central AC, this place is it. Bonus, that little area of lewes is the most throw-back shore spot on the east coast. Sand in the streets, three rows of houses…. Like Avalon NJ of the 1960’s (or so my mom says).

I would avoid this rental. There were ants throughout the home. The refrigerator did not work. There were deadbolts in rooms meant for kids.

The house was in a really great location in Lewes. It was very roomy. My main issues have to do with VRBO and having to log in all the time with passwords etc while you are traveling without computers - only a cell phone--having to relog in to VRBO in order to contact host--finally just starting calling the host when the dishwasher broke. It was fixed after two days, but still texting back and forth along with getting the access code one day ahead--again we are already on the trip - so we have to log into VRBO to access the message. The house is great for families - the laundry machines were great.
