Observation Point: Prime Soundfront Location with Dock! Spectacular Sunsets!

Located in the popular Brigand's Bay neighborhood in Frisco Village on Hatteras Island, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage features a huge soundfront deck with beautiful panoramic views of the Pamlico Sound and unbelievable sunsets. Part of the deck is covered to allow you to enjoy the gorgeous views while keeping cool in the shade.

The 30' long dock is suitable for a shallow draft boat. The water next to the bulkhead is approximately 2' deep with a sandy bottom. Perfect for swimming, fishing, or launching your kayak or paddle board.

Inside, the home features a very open floorplan, allowing the sparkling water views to be seen from all the living spaces. The spacious and well appointed kitchen is stocked with new pots, pans, utensils, dishes, etc.

The two bedrooms each have their own adjoining private bathroom. The first bedroom has a king bed and water views with a private door to the sound front deck. The second has a queen and twin bunks. Each have comfortable new mattresses and pillows. A large laundry room is available for your use as well.

Downstairs, the convenient outdoor shower is perfect to rinse away the sand and allows you to enjoy stunning water views even while taking shower!

Beach access, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, shops, and restaurants are all just minutes away.

We were immediately enamored with Observation Point in Frisco, NC. The view could not be more captivating and peaceful. The location on Pamlico Sound was convenient to neighboring Buxton and Hatteras (including the ferry that you can take from Hatteras to Ocracoke). We found the furnishings were very comfortable and the amenities met our needs. We highly recommend this location/property for anyone desiring to get away from the hustle and bustle of Nags Head/Kill Devil Hills area. The perfect end to our day was courtesy of the amazing sunset views on the back porch followed by fantastic stargazing. The cell service/internet also enabled us to stay connected to family and work. The hosts went above and beyond, proactively reaching out to ensure that our needs were met and they were also extremely quick to respond to our inquiries. Should we return to the OBX we would definitely stay at this location all over again!!!

Beautiful sunsets

This was my second stay at Observation Point and it was a great place to relax and kayak. The place was clean and well stocked, the sunsets were spectacular. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Sunsets and warm salty breezes

This is our third time staying here. The location is very good and close to many delicious eateries and fun art gallery shops. You can watch beautiful sunsets here or gorgeous sunrises. The home is well stocked and a comfy size. You will love this place!! Thank you Tom and Miranda:)

Always fabulous

We've had the pleasure of staying at Observation Point for many years...and every year seems better than the last. The location on the sound is pure magic. Coffee in the morning, watching the birds is so peaceful...& The sunset are beyond description. The neighborhood is perfect for bike rides...and is conveniently located to stores and restaurants, and of course the beach. Observation Point is nourishment for our minds, bodies, and spirits.

Great second visit!

We love staying here! Great location on the sound. Easily the best deck location on the street. Small house, but great setup! Worked great for our family of 6! Can’t wait until next year.

No more ocean side for us

We loved this house on the sound side at Frisco with a dock. We were able to take our boat on this trip and fish the sound. We had a great neighbor. The furniture was very comfortable, the bed was comfortable and if we could afford to buy this house, we would. God willing, we will be back next year. Nick and Heidi

Small House Big Views

This house is a small 2 bedroom 2 bath home, but it makes up for its size with gorgeous views of the sound. The neighborhood is lovely and the sweet pups that live nearby are a bonus. The deck with the covered area is perfect for watching the fish jump or the gulls fly by. We really enjoyed starting our morning out there with a nice cup of coffee. The house is perfect for a couple or small family.

Beautiful Home With A Beautiful View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location for the southern Outer Banks, and close proximity to the other other villages. Quiet neighborhood. The house was everything and more than expected. Great porch with an awesome view. Nice dock for launching kayaks. Owners were very good communicators. Highly recommend!!!

Fabulous property

We've been fortunate to have stayed at Observation Point many times over the years. It just gets better every time. The house is perfect for us...the neighborhood is wonderful for bike rides, and last but not least is the stunning view from the deck. Words can't capture the experience of the sunsets. Of course the same can be said for the mornings too. Observation Point is nourishment for the mind, body, and soul. Treat yourself to a stay❤️

Perfect home for us

We LOVED our 2 week stay at Observation Point.❤️ The house and location has everything we want when we visit our favorite island. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you'll need. The bed is very comfortable along with the other furnishings throughout the home. Loved the shower too! Sunsets are AMAZING and the fishing off the dock was productive too! The owners were very gracious and a pleasure to work with. Enjoyed talking to the neighbors we met and cannot wait until we are able to get back to Observation Point. Thank you, Miranda and Tom, for sharing your "perfect home for us" home!

Great little house in a perfect location.

We loved staying here! It’s small but you don’t even notice because of how open it is, plus being outside is the best part. Deck feels like your sitting on the water. We loved the beautiful sunsets over the water and tried not to miss a single one. Our kids enjoyed playing in the sandy water off the house which was so calm most of the time. We’d stay here again! Only 3 things that would make it better: a working shower outside , some nails at the end of the dock need to be hammered, and pole holders on the dock for fishing. Other than that it was perfect!

As we entered the door, we both knew that this was our special place. We're excited to share this home with visitors who are seeking a quiet getaway, and truly hope it will feel like home to you as well.
