We really enjoyed our stay at Bear Lake Reserve. The property is very special- very wooded, full of nature, and the condo and rest of the Lake Club areas are all beautiful. The location of the condo was very good- it's very close to the Lake Club where the beach and pool are. Just a short drive down to it with plenty of parking. The condo was extremely clean and organized. The bed was comfortable, and there was everything we needed stocked. The view is through the trees and you see the lake below, very relaxing!The clubhouse area is gorgeous with stunning views from the pool and the beach was much larger than I expected. We were able to bring our paddleboards and put them right on the beach and go back and forth from the beach to the pool and we needed. The lunch and drinks served at the pool were great too. Friendly staff as well. It is a secluded place in nature which was just what were were looking for to relax and renew.

Great place to stay!

We loved staying at Fables of the Forest! It had everything we needed and more. Bear Lake Reserve is very impressive with all of their amentities and overall just a beautiful place. We were so pleased with our stay there and will be back for sure!

Great Spot !

Really enjoyed our stay at this condo. Great location, great view and very comfortable! Host was great and the guide book had anything you could possibly need to know . We would highly recommend this lodging.

Beautiful Property

BLR is a beautiful property, and the condo was such a cozy retreat for our mother/som trip! Just enough space for us, and the condo was so clean and had beautiful views of the lake!

This is the very best place to stay in Bear Lake Reserve. It is well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The host is attentive to our needs coming and going, every time. Lovely from start to finish.

Great Family Retreat

Hands down one of the best rental houses we have stayed at. The unit was exactly as advertised and Bear Lake is a great place to vacation. We’ll be back.

Hidden Gem

Wonderful condo inside a beautiful mountain resort community. It's a little off the beaten path but that makes it that much better. I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again. Exactly what we needed to beat the Florida heat.

Close to lake club

Condo was very well equipped, very clean and inviting. We enjoyed the view of the lake and the hike through the woods down to the lake club and pool.

Lovely condo, had everything we needed. Never left BLR property except for groceries. Lots of things to do as well as rest and relaxation!

Beautiful view and relaxing vacation

Condo- immaculately clean, well-appointed, great views, great location close to Lake club Bear Lake Reserve - wonderful service, great food, beautiful views, fun pontoon boat rides, great amenities, picturesque golf course. Very remote- take groceries and arrive during daylight hours Relaxing and peaceful vacation which was perfect for us!

Weekend in the woods

Great getaway. Condo was fully furnished with everything guests could ask for. Kitchen was fully stocked which was a nice surprise compared to other places we’ve rented.

Excellent stay at Bear Lake Reserve

This property is in the perfect spot to enjoy a family vacation. Close proximity to lake club (walking distance on a short, well marked trail) and golf / tennis. Condo has a great view and is very clean and organized. Property manager is super helpful. The club and condo provides everything you need for an amazing trip. Highly recommend!

Outstanding in every way! Beautiful views from every window. Accommodations and cleanliness were first class! Loved our stay in this beautifully decorated cottage. Check in / out process could not have been easier—very professional and personable.

Quiet with a view!

We had an awesome time at Fables of the Forest. The unit is well equipped with everything you could need, very clean, and best part was enjoying the morning coffee from the deck. Partial view of lake and mountains only obstruction was trees. Will definitely stay at Fables of the Forest again!
