The Space:

Experience the wonders of the Oregon Coast from this three-bedroom, Seaside charmer. Just a short walk from the beach, this home also offers easy access to hiking, golf, amusements, and attractions.



Featuring a split-level design, the home's two-story layout features a main floor devoted to household living, and partial ocean-view bedrooms upstairs. An unfinished basement houses the private washer/dryer.



Spread out while enjoying time together in the living room, equipped with a wall-mounted smart TV, plush sectional sofa, dedicated desks, and a children's drawing table. A small gas stove adds cozy ambiance and warmth for chilly seasons. Over in the family room, enjoy casual conversation around the gas fireplace or let the musician in the group entertain on the electric piano. The sparkling kitchen is a chef's delight, featuring gorgeous counters and high-end Viking appliances including a gas range and dishwasher. An eat-in nook offers seating for four and full meals can be enjoyed in the dining room at the table set for eight.



Make the most of blue sky days and sunshine out on the private deck and enjoy a coastal cookout with the gas grill provided.

Very comfortable 3 bedroom extremely close to the ocean. Garge parking was an added bonus.

Nice house, but the listing description is misleadingThe house itself was clean, spacious, and very nice. We had plenty of room and overall the home was comfortable. We even had an unexpected bat inside the first night, but honestly, that was easy enough to deal with and certainly not what bothered us about the stay.What bothered us was the way the property was advertised. Calling this an “ocean view” is a stretch. You can get a glimpse of the ocean from the third floor, between other buildings, but this is definitely not what most people would picture when booking an ocean-view property.The description of a “short walk to the beach” was even more frustrating. The walk was at least a mile, which is very different from what I would consider a short walk to the beach.Guests should also know there are two flights of stairs, which made hauling luggage up and down a real pain, especially traveling with two people in their mid-70s.And describing this as a “beach resort” feels very misleading. It is a nice, large, clean house in a coastal area—but I would not call it a beach resort.We enjoyed the house itself. I just wish the listing had been more straightforward about the location, actual ocean view, distance to the beach, and stairs. Had those things been accurately described, we would have known exactly what we were booking and could have made our decision accordingly.

The house is beautiful and in a great location. It is spacious and comfortable.We couldn’t figure out the fireplace or stove that might have needed a remote, but the remotes were missing or dead. There was no instructions or house manual. There was central heat, though. So we weren’t cold, just wanted a cozy touch.There was also only two tabs of dishwashing detergent and only a tiny bottle of dishwashing liquid and no hand soap for the kitchen. We bought some and left it, but it would have been good to know those type of essentials weren’t provided ahead of time, so I thought I’d mention it here (also aluminum foil, wax paper or plastic wrap are not provided, which seems more normal for missing kitchen items in a rental)When we messaged the management company, it was AI responses, which is frustrating.The house was clean, but also felt like it could use a really good deep clean that includes window sills and light switches, etc.Overall, a great trip and location!

A for the location, B for communication, C- for the state of the kitchen.Location: We loved the location right by The Cove in Seaside. It's a quiet neighborhood with very easy beach access. This was a really fun area to stay with our family of seven.Communication: The host gave us the wrong code to open the garage door. We thought there might be a dead battery or keypad malfunction for the garage, so we reached out to the host to ask about a fix. It took 2 days before someone from their local team responded and gave me the proper garage code. The text communication was weird and stilted. I felt that I was either dealing with an AI or with a person using canned corporate responses. The back and forth was just weird! We also had to clean many dishes in the kitchen upon arrival (the dishwasher left a lot of food residue on plates etc). There was food in the sink from previous guests and very few supplies in the kitchen: no foil, no Saran wrap, really nothing to start with in the pantry. Many basic kitchen implements missing: no flipper for the grill, no 9x13 casserole dish, no wooden spoons. The battery in the dining room clock and the emergency flashlight were both dead. Basically, the host needs to come in and take care of some details! The fundamentals are solid, though, and overall it was a good stay. The beds are comfortable and the property is quiet. We enjoyed our time here. I just wish the kitchen had been in better shape.

Really clean, spacious, comfortable home.

We were a group of six and this house had plenty of room to accommodate us. The short walk to the beach was just right for us. The location was a great spot for our excursions to Astoria and Cañon Beach. Would stay in this home again.

Great location for summer getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at this charming house. We walked to the beach to find hermit crabs in the tide pool and Osprey Cafe for breakfast in the morning. Love the quiet neighborhood yet so close to summer fun.

Best place to stay

Second summer in a row we stayed at this house. So close to the ocean, spent every night down on the beach. The house was nice and roomy and fit my family perfect. We will be back on the next trip!!

House was clean and inviting. Took a little bit to figure out how to use the fireplace, once we did, the house was warm and cozy. Stairs from in the basement were a challenge with luggage. Small, skinny steps original with the house. Deer visited in the front yard. Great views from the bedrooms of upstairs. Had a wonderful time.

The house was very clean and fully equipped with all the rmodern conveniences one would expect, but the gas bbq was not clean and the freezer compartment leaked onto the floor..All in all, I would stay there again.
