The house was fabulous! The view, furnishings, well stocked…better than we expected which is always great! Perfect venue for a sibling get together! Plus the weather was perfect!!

The Jenswold home is an incredible way to appreciate the beauty of Lake Superior, while spending time in an historic and wonderfully appointed home. Our entire family enjoyed a beautiful weekend together, thanks to our hosts and the beauty of the Jenswold home.

A lovely setting on the shores of Lake Superior (of course it is) on the Northeastern edge of Duluth. Our reunion of four siblings and our partners were greatly facilitated by the common areas inside and outside available for conversation and the natural beauty of nearby walking paths and parks.

What a beautiful Victorian home on Lake Superior! Me and my relatives enjoyed every part of the stay. The sunroom was a great place to hang out with the windows open viewing the lake in the evening. This property has a great view, large bedrooms, plenty of tvs, great kitchen, and lacks nothing.

Absolutely gorgeous home on Lake Superior.Even nicer than it looks in the pictures! The two saunas are lovely, pristine and inviting. So many kitchen amenities! Beds extremely comfortable with high end linens. We needed a high chair and portacrib, both of which were like new and top quality brands. The fireplaces were a cozy touch.Meredith answered all questions quickly. Couldn’t have been a better experience!

Our stay couldn’t have been better. The setup worked perfectly for our family, but more than that the home is simply beautiful. The four seasons room with the fireplace, the view, the sauna, all of it made for a very magical weekend and really was conducive for time spent together just relaxing. We will be back!

Beautiful views and a lovely set up. Close enough to Canal Park to not be a big affair to get out and about, but far enough away to not feel overwhelmed by crowds.The signs around the house were a nice touch to tell a story about the house.

WOW views of Lake Superior! The location is stunning. Incredibly comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen for everything we needed to cook with. We ended up spending most of our time out on the porch overlooking the lake—it was easily our favorite spot and the view made it hard to go inside. The house has so much character and felt comfortable and welcoming throughout our stay. It was a relaxing, memorable place to spend time, and we’d definitely come back.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the thoughtful touches — snacks, bottled water, and all the little amenities that made it feel extra special.My absolute favorite part was the sun room overlooking Lake Superior. The views were breathtaking and it quickly became a favorite morning coffee spot. The deck off the master bedroom was just as incredible — waking up to that lake view each day was something I won’t forget.The home itself is beautifully decorated — cozy, inviting, and perfectly set up. We stayed with our four kids (ages 2–15), and they had the best time skipping rocks on the beach and exploring the shoreline. The neighborhood felt very safe and was perfect for peaceful early morning walks.The host was incredibly kind and responsive, which made the entire experience seamless. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway on Lake Superior!

We had a wonderful time. The house has excellent amenities and is right on the lake. We could not get enough of sitting on the chairs in the garden with the lake lapping on the shore. The home is well stocked and very spacious with morden appliances and thoughtful touches throughout. We would love to go back and spend some more time at the house.

The home and the view are spectacular! Well-appointed with anything you could possibly think of- easy walks to several parks, the lake, Lester River, restaurants, and a grocery store. We made amazing memories here!
