We loved the cabin and how homey it was. The view of the water made it so peaceful. We loved sitting in the swing on the back porch in the afternoon. Perfect place for visiting and having our afternoon coffee. It was a great place to relax and close enough to town and the surrounding attractions to be very convenient while feeling like we were in the woods.

Tommy, that back porch swing with the water view is a hard spot to beat, especially with an afternoon coffee in hand. Feeling tucked into the woods while town stays close is exactly the balance the cabin does best. The swing will be here whenever you want it again.

What a wonderful, beautiful place to relax. Morning coffee on the waters edge and afternoon cocktails on the porch in the afternoon was just what the doctor ordered! The wildlife was a bonus too! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a place close to the tourist destinations but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet!

Our family of 3 had a lovely stay at this private home on the lake. We saw 2 beautiful sun rises right from our bedroom window. Location was great and a short 30 min drive to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Restaurants and shopping nearby. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything by we needed. We had very easy communication with Susan. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Family friendly property approved by all three of my kids with interesting games, books, vintage items. Well staffed kitchen even with basic necessary pantry items and some much needed it for families packing to go essentials. Fantastic sunrise on your backyard while you enjoy your morning coffee and no need to rush to Cadillac at the middle of the night.

Riding down the driveway was beautiful with the foliage at it's peak. The home was just what we were looking for. Beautiful view of the water, cozy fireplace, close to Acadia NP. Enjoyed the private setting. Ellsworth is only 10 minutes away for any shopping needs. The home useswell water. So just be prepared in case you want to bring your own drinking water. We would stay there again.

This cabin and property truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-maintained and welcoming everything was. The interior was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a true home away from home.Susan was a fantastic host; she was incredibly available and responded promptly to any questions we had throughout our stay, which made the entire process seamless. The location is perfect, offering a wonderful blend of relaxation and accessibility to nearby shops and attractions. It was an exceptionally family-friendly environment that provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable getaway. We cannot recommend this property highly enough and look forward to returning in the future.
