We had a great trip to Murphy and the cabin was very comfortable. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great way to end a day of hiking. There’s a dear feeder in the front and we saw a bunch of dear one evening.

The house was perfect and the seclusion is great. The deer feeder outside was a nice suprise to be able to sit on the porch and watch the wildlife.

Weekend Escape

Just a weekend to get away and escape life. Cabin was amazing, everuthing available and activities are within driving distance. Loved the slow down and the privacy the location offered!

Great place!

My wife and I stayed veterans day weekend. The cabin was very clean and had everything needed and a few extras. We loved it and it was in a great easy accessible location. I would highly recommend.

Great Stay at Buck Haven

Stayed at several cabins before and this one was my favorite. Murphy NC is lower elevation than other cabins, so easy to get there. The deer came to see us frequently, and the cabin was perfect.

Perfect place to relax

It was the little things that we so appreciated - the flashlights by the bed, creamer in the fridge, soap, shampoo & conditioner and even feed for the deer.

Perfectly secluded (but still close enough to town).

Super clean, spacious, secluded & quiet. If ever we are back in Murphy, we’ll stay here again. Bring your own Keurig though, the one that is there was broken. Quick response from management company when we let them know though. 5 Stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful Cabin

The log cabin is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is equipped with terrific appliances, ice maker, and counter space. We were disappointed that the gas logs did not light per the instructions, and the poor phone service made it impossible to call and ask for help lighting the fireplace. The internet connection was also poor. I would suggest the bedroom furniture be switched so that older guests would not have to traverse the stairs in order to make use of the king bed in the upstairs bedroom. The exterior of the cabin is as advertised, with a wonderful back deck and an outdoor fireplace.
