Pet Friendly Renovated Farmhouse with a Serene Rushing Creek and a fenced yard!

Serenity Now! Welcome to 3 Dog Creekside Cottage. This fully remodeled 1950’s farmhouse sits on 2.5 acres and a rushing creek. The peaceful sound of the water is heard throughout the house, making for a spa-like atmosphere. Large windows bring in tons of natural light and exposure to the stunning grounds. Watch the multitude of native birds visit the feeders. There is a secure privacy fence and fur kids are welcome.

The chef’s kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and any utensil you might desire. Relax by the wood-burning fireplace in the sitting room or read a book on the oversized swing on the back deck as you take in all that nature has to offer…butterflies & hummingbirds abound during the warmer months. The den has plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy a movie or game. The oversized half bath is conveniently located downstairs.

There are multiple options for eating locations including a formal dining room and covered patio. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, a primary with a lovely deck overlooking the water. It boasts a king size bed while the opposite bedroom has a daybed that can be two twins or another king. A pack n play is also available. This home is perfect for couples or families. The shared bathroom is luxurious with a massive walk-in shower and gorgeous views.

We look forward to welcoming you to our newest property in beautiful Murphy, NC. It is easily accessible and about 15 minutes from quaint downtown with great restaurants, shopping, farmers markets and festivals. There are hiking trails all around us and Lakes Nottley and Chatuge are both a short drive. Murphy is perfectly situated 2 hours from Atlanta, Asheville and Chattanooga. It is in close proximity to Blue Ridge, Blairsville and Young Harris GA as well as Hayesville, Warne and Brasstown NC.

Lovely Stay in Murphy

I have been going to that area for about 12 years and this stay was remarkable. Centrally located, beautiful decor, supplies and such a nice space to relax. Amenities were on point and I plan to book again next Fall. Highly recommend!

Perfect long weekend

I think I spent 8+ hours a day in the swing bed on the back porch reading and listening to the creek run by. The pups loved splashing in the creek and the fully fenced front yard allowed them space to dry off before coming back inside. Super close to several cute towns with good restaurants. Would love to stay here again.

A magical place

The place was a very magical place, a little piece of heaven in the mountains of Murphy NC we really enjoyed the glider that’s in the gazebo and the front porch swing was wonderful. Our fur babies really enjoyed the backyard that was fenced in and we had breakfast every morning on the patio. We will definitely be looking at this place next year for a week stay

Perfect Spot

This is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, sipping wine while listening to the stream. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Definitely recommend this vacation home.

My husband and I stayed with our two dogs and the set up of the house/yard was perfect to accommodate all of us! The kitchen, bedroom, and bathrooms were well equipped. Waking up to crisp mornings and sounds of the nearby creek made it relaxing and enjoyable.

Loved my stay here - an adorable, private oasis in the mountains. Fenced in yard and dog toys were greatly enjoyed by my golden retriever, Henry. Will definitely be back to enjoy the sounds of the creek — hopefully, during cooler weather!

Peaceful Retreat

The perfect cabin to escape to. The bed-swing is the ideal location for an afternoon nap while being lulled to sleep by the creek. Lots of great hiking near by. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and the dog beds provide. Thanks for a great week!

Sweet little farmhouse

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. The house was adorable and well stocked. The location and neighbors were fantastic. We enjoyed our sweet treats provided by Randy & Deborah. Bubbling Brook

Such a beautiful place. Very clean and very cozy. My favorite spot in this beautiful property was the back porch swing. Cozying up with a fluffy blanket, a cup of coffee and the sound of the bubbling brook gave me the best nap I think I’ve had in my life! So peaceful. The location of the property is perfect. We enjoyed our days relaxing on the front porch swing while the dogs explored the yard and played frisbee by the creek. Home was beautiful and well stocked. The bed swing on the back porch and the running creek were wonderful! House does sit right next to the gravel road. More cars than expected in the mornings and afternoons, but just neighbors. Would definitely stay there again!

Peaceful Getaway in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Randy and Deborah have a beautifully renovated farmhouse that provides all of the amenities you could possibly want for your stay. From the bathroom toiletries to the dog beds and dog toys provided for your fur family...there isn't anything they haven't thought of. The location is picturesque with the rushing creek and the daybed porch swing is beyond lovely. Highly recommend this home for a place to disconnect and unwind.

Family time

We were all so thrilled with the farmhouse and how prepped the home was for our visit. So many unexpected extras that we didn’t have to worry with like split wood, coffee, tea, lotion, and a well-stocked kitchen for compiling our meals. Everything worked! Amazing Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this amazing property with our fur baby. We have family in Murphy so we were all able to relax and enjoy this beautiful place. Coffee on the porch swing while listening to the creek actually made me want to get up in the morning and the creek lulled us to sleep at night. My dog loved sniffing every inch of the property and cooling off in the creek. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of. I can’t wait till we can come stay again!

Awesome vacation!

What a great vacation! This house is absolutely perfect! The house is beautifully decorated and the stream out back is so peaceful to sit and listen to (we even enjoyed sitting in it)... our golden retriever loved the fenced in yard and playing in the stream! We ventured a few miles away to Lake Hiwassee and rented a pontoon boat to enjoy the lake, we enjoyed the scenic ride! Everything was perfect from the time we walked in until the time we left! House was stocked with everything we needed!

Slice of Paradise

This trip was a healing retreat for me and Mom, as well as a birthday present for Mom. We both enjoyed the luxuriousness of our stay spending quite a bit of time hanging out on the bed swing, hammock, and gazebo listening to the creek, watching the trees breathe, and taking mini hikes up the steep road leading to the house. We loved cooking in the kitchen appreciating all of the amenities, especially the spice rack. The only hiccup was when the power went out in the area, fortunately, we had family 10 miles away to visit, and the power returned by the time we got back that evening. I hope we can visit again because 3 Dog Creekside Cottage is a magical place.

Beautiful house and location

The house was perfect for our 4 day get a way. It came fully equipped with everything we could have asked for. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The yards were perfectly landscaped and the views from the large windows every morning were stunning. We loved having the stream right outside and actually just spent a day relaxing in/by the water. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and we appreciated that as well. The hosts even have some dog beds and toys for you pets. The check in process was super easy and the hosts were very proactive in making sure we had everything we needed. This is definitely on our list of places to return to.
