From the blue cabinets that accent the updated kitchen to the wood floors throughout, this Fredericksburg home offers fun and style as soon as you walk through the door. After days spent exploring the beauties of Texas Hill Country, you can cool off in the AC, sit among the pecan trees in the backyard and use the free WiFi to look up new local wineries to try.

What's nearby:
For wine enthusiasts, Lost Draw Cellars is just a few blocks away, Fiesta Winery is seven miles away, and Grape Creek is 11 miles away. If you prefer to taste your wine at home near the firepit, HEB is just a few blocks from the house. Take your pick of German-inspired eateries nearby, with Otto's German Bistro, The Auslander (which also features a beer garden), and Der Lindenbaum all within a mile of Tranquility Corner. If you're looking to get out and about, consider a round of golf at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Course or take your furry friend to the dog park - both of which are less than four miles away.

Really enjoyed our stay— able to walk to downtown or take a 7 uber if you don’t want to walk down the busy street. Would definitely stay here again! The house is cute and clean— perfect for our girls weekend.

Overall, we were comfortable. Some items needed attention like the drawers in kitchen were difficult to open, the TV in living room was not hooked up to cable or internet as advertised, the bathroom faucet sprayed sideways, shower was not clean and the pillows were hard. It was roomy enough and the fenced in yard was great for our 2 small dogs.

Loved the house! Very cozy! It’s close to everything, is well furnished, beds are comfortable, and the entire house felt like home. We loved everything about it!

Good base in a great location

The house is a close walk to downtown but far enough away to not give you an escape from the crowds. The house was comfortable except for the seating in the family room.

Very Dog Friendly.

Nice large fenced in yard for Fido. Comfortable beds and linens. Cute house. Overall great. We had a problem with the electronic door lock but were able to access a key, but we kept getting locked out if you leave the key in the house.

Christmas Stay

The home was very clean when we arrived. Nicely decorated and the king size bed was a plus! I would have like better bathroom amenities and towels. The one thing would have better outdoor lighting. We checked in after dark and more lighting would have been nice. Overall a nice home ina good location to Main Street and of course, HEB!!!

Great place!

The home is very comfortable and clean! Would recommend more kitchen equipment (pots, pans, cooking utensils). I would also recommend putting house numbers. You enter through a side gate and I had no clue if I was at the right house before going through a yard. Did have some trouble getting in, but customer service was great and helped me get in after only a few minutes! Would definitely stay here again!

Convenient

The location was great! Very close to downtown/Main Street and HEB and numerous wineries and great German restaurants. Christmas lights at the Main Street park were very nice. Also some great breweries that also had wonderful food (get a German pretzel). It was quiet at night and you didn't hear anything until people started going to work so you don't need a clock to wake you up. They had most amenities. I always take extra toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap. They had plenty of TP and paper towels. There is no dishwasher but that didn't bother us as we do our own dishes at home most of the time. Cable TV is in the master bedroom, not in the family room. They have a Smart TV that we don't know how to work it as we aren't smart enough. They had a regular drip coffee maker AND a kreuig. I bring all my own spices as I cook every other day. Two bar stools were missing some parts but still worked just fine. Loved the LARGE walk in shower!!!!

Christmas getaway

Adorable house! Beautiful dark wooden floors! This home is very well cared for. Two bedrooms, beautiful dinning area, cute living room with a big kitchen. We were looking to spend Christmas with our son and 9 year old grandson. He lived all the room connecting doors. The house is dog friendly with a fully fenced yard. We have a 10 year old American Bulldog who enjoyed every aspect of the house and yard. Plenty of family games to keep us all occupied.The kitchen comes with basic utensils, pots, pans, cups,glasses and containers. A stackable washer and dryer and even includes pods. I do have a few suggestions on the kitchen. 1. Please supply more than o e tiny bottle of dish soap. I had to leave dishes because I wasn’t aware there was none in the house. 2. Please supply more than 2 garbage bags during a large holiday vacation. We didn’t have trash bags to replace. 3. Maybe supply a broom or a swifter or a vacuum. 4. Please update your silverware. I was afraid it would bend and break. No large cutting knives. Maybe have a hand mixer. I am a big cooker breakfast, lunch and dinner. Three days you use quite a bit of liquid soap. If I would have known I would have brought all the items with me. Thank you for supplying ample toilet paper and tiny soaps/shampoos. Beds were very comfortable. A very nice neighborhood. 3 minutes from H-E-B and approximately 5 mins from all shopping , win bars and eateries.All in all I highly recommend this host!
