Kona Magic Sands 314 Ocean Front Corner Penthouse Next to Magic Sands Beach

Welcome to our newly acquired and beautifully decorated condo at Kona Magic Sands condo complex which is located just a few minutes from downtown Kona, and about 20 minutes south of the Kona International Airport and best of all, just steps away from Magic Sands Beach.
This small oceanfront condominium complex has an outdoor pool, propane BBQ, onsite laundry facilities, Magics Beach Grill restaurant, as well as a coffee shop for a convenient pick me up in the mornings.
Kona Magic Sands Condos are centrally located but have a bit less of the tourist crush of downtown Kona. A rental car is recommended for touring about but there is also an open-air trolley that can take you downtown if you choose not to rent a car.
This spacious 660 sq ft. unit has a fully equipped view-oriented kitchen with a large refrigerator / freezer, a microwave that is also a convection oven, and a 2 burner stove. The living room has sliding glass doors that open to the ocean, where Whales, Dolphins, Green Turtles and a myriad of colorful fish can be seen most days. The bathroom has a dressing table cabinet, a vanity with ample drawer space along with a full-size tub & shower.
The condo comes with bed linens, beach towels, and bathroom and kitchen towels and wash cloths.
There is a new modern split air conditioning system with one unit in the kitchen and one in the bedroom.
Keauhou Shopping Center is 3 miles south on Alli Drive. There is a KTA Grocery Store, Pizza Parlor, Longs Drugstore etc.
You will fall in love with Kona Magic Sands 314. It is truly Magic.....

Nice unit. Great view and sounds of the waves. We got there right after a large storm did some damage to the property but they were able to get the pool back up and running quickly.

This condo was perfect. The location is great - 10-15 min to shopping/restaurants, beach just steps away; condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked if you feel like eating some of your meals in, also well stocked for beach gear. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive, all around an amazing experience for us between the island itself and the condo.

The location is perfect and you can’t beat the view. It was clean and updated. You are right on the ocean, next to the beach, and a short drive to shopping. There is a restaurant on the location and it’s also a short drive to other restaurants. The laundry room is on the right side of the building close to the staircase for 314. I would stay here again.

The condo’s views are spectacular! After climbing the 30 grueling steps to the condo, angelic songs and trumpets sounded upon opening the rooms door. The roar of the ocean filled the room well before opening the sliding doors. The mirrors add to the condo’s illusionary charm and the corner window is to die for. The bed, bathroom, seating and dining area were comfortable and clean. The condo is great to wake up in and relax at the end of an active day!Can’t wait for our next trip!

We love the KONA MAGIC SANDS, as we have stayed in other units before. This one was roomy and loved the fan in the bathroom. The flooring was bothersome and felt kind of dirty, perhaps some floor covering?Overall, it was delightful.

The view of ocean, sunset, yellow tangs in the waves is amazing. Close to town to shop or eat and beaches to snorkle and swim . Equipped with all needed for a great stay. Restaurant on property has beach view and great food. Kitchen fully stocked so no need to hurry out for breakfast. This is our 3rd visit and not our last!

We’ve stayed at multiple units in Magic Sands and this one is by far the largest. It is nicely furnished and well stocked. AC worked great and bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was magical, just like the name. The air conditioning was a blessing; we loved the roar of the ocean and the magnificent views. Thanks for installing better lighting in the stairwells. It really helped our predawn departure. Hope to stay with you again!

We loved the property & it’s waterfront view! The proximity to Magic Sands beach and Magics Beach Grill next door was convenient as well! It was in a family friendly area where my In-Laws stayed nearby. This VRBO made our Kona, HI stay feel Great!

We had a wonderful stay at Magic Sands Beach! We stayed in the corner unit, which had extra space and stunning ocean views from both the back and side. There was no balcony, but opening the sliding doors created a great open-air feel. We especially enjoyed morning coffee by the windows, taking in the views and snapping photos.The condo was spacious, clean, and very well equipped. The kitchen was fully stocked, and they also provided beach chairs, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, a pop-up beach tent, towels, and even Ziploc bags, everything we needed for easy beach days.The bed was extremely comfortable, and the built-in closets and drawers offered plenty of storage. The bathroom was also well designed with extra counter space, storage, and separate mirror areas, which made getting ready together easy.The ocean was a bit rough during our stay, but we loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves and watching the little crabs along the shoreline.The location was fantastic. Kahaluʻu Beach Park is just a few minutes away with excellent snorkeling, and 5–10 minutes in the other direction you’ll find shopping, restaurants, and additional beaches. We also visited Queen’s Bath, which had calm water and was great for families.The restaurant and the little taco shack downstairs was very convenient!Overall, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely book again. Beautiful views, a comfortable and well-equipped unit, and a great location made it the perfect Kona home base.
