Welcome to our beautifully decorated ocean front condo in paradise - Kona Reef D-24.
Our condo is our home away from home, so we respectfully request a maximum of 2 adult guests and no children under 18.
Whether this is your first trip to Kailua-Kona or you are a frequent visitor to the island, our condo at Kona Reef Resort will definitely be your favorite place to stay.
Our condo is only 23 feet from the water and the 3rd floor views from the lanai are absolutely mesmerizing. You will find yourself drawn to the views from the lanai from dawn till dusk, and with the sounds of the surf, warm tropical breezes and the views of the ocean, you will soon find a soothing sense of calm begin to take over.
Our private lanai hosts a bar height table and chairs, plus a super comfy lounge and a side table. Most mornings while sitting on the lanai and drinking a steamy mug of incredible Kona coffee, a few of the local surfers will be out in front of the condo catching the morning waves, and by the time the sun comes over the volcano, more often than not a pod of spinner dolphins will pass through on their early morning trek.
Early on Wednesdays and Saturdays mornings, cruise ships will pass directly in front of the condo and dock in Kailua- Kona for the day and then sail off to Lahaina, Maui as the sun begins to set. The humpback whales (na kohola) visit Hawaii every year from November until early May and some have even been spotted from the lanai.
Once your day begins to wind down, you will find yourself anxiously waiting for the stunning sunsets that Hawaii is famous for.

We have been going to Kona and renting condos for years. This place was the best place we have ever stayed in. The unit is extremely well equipped and the decor was fantastic. And communication with the owners was fantastic. We had a problem finding the parking permits, and the owners answered and quickly assisted us in finding the permit, even though it was 10 pm their time.

Wonderful condo and location! Great communication with the host who was very accommodating of our flight schedules. Loved being able to walk into town for shopping and meals. Watching surfers, spinner dolphins, and sunsets made each day unique and special. Highly recommend this condo which had everything we needed for a great stay.

Fantastic view of the ocean surf and sunsets. Very nice condo with everything you need. Easy walk to Kona area and ocean side drives to many fabulous beaches. Would stay here again!

The condo is beautifully decorated and furnished. Plenty of kitchen supplies and extras like beach chairs and nice cooler. Appreciated having basics to handy like olive oil, honey... and sunscreen, first aid stuff. Enjoyed the location for our first time to Kona. Seemed convenient to the places we wanted to explore- snorkeling and scuba. Had an epic Manta ray Night Dive with Kona Honu Divers. Thanks for a great little place to stay. Perfect to be next to Hon'l Beach as Sandy beaches are rare on the Big Island. Hosts were great.

This is an amazing property. Very clean, has all the amenities, has a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset and is within walking distance of restaurant/shopping. Highly recommend.

The condo was wonderful. I love the Hawaiian and marine animal decorations. It is very comfortable. The ocean view and sunsets are exceptional. The condo is stocked with everything you could possibly need on your vacation including sunscreen and bandaids. The pool is awesome. The entire facility is very clean and well maintained.

Perfect location!
We loved our stay! Spent most of our time at the condo on the Lanai. The sunsets were incredible! Can’t wait to go back!

Watching the dolphins swim by from the balcony in the morning while having breakfast.

Perfect Getaway
The condo was perfect for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed and was a perfect location. The sunset was stunning every night and best seen from the condo.

Great stay overall
Great Kona “base-camp” overall - nice ocean view incl sunsets. Very well stocked with a home away from home feel - incl thought out items that saved us time to run around and purchase - from plastic sandwich bags to bandaids just to name a couple.

Super clean well appointed condo right on the ocean in a great location. While the pool area is very quiet and enjoyable.

Our favorite location in Kona. We like to walk in to town for dinner and happy hours. This is a well maintained property.

Great Kona location
Enjoyed a wonderful stay at this comfortable and well-appointed waterfront property. Great location for IM within easy walking distance to shops and pier. KaCee and Kurt were awesome hosts and very communicative. Would stay again and highly recommend.
