The condo was immaculate and beautifully detailed with an unbeatable view. Loved relaxing on the lanai watching the gorgeous sunsets over the ocean and sleeping to the sound of the waves.

This condo has a magnificent view of the ocean, the a/c works great and the bed is very comfortable. The swimming pool and grounds are very nice. There's a great tide pool as well as nearby surfing waves. However, I had some issues that are described next. Three days before arrival I received the check-in email, but I didn't immediately read it. That was my mistake because it turned out that the attachment with door code details was missing. I didn't find out until we arrived at the condo address. I then telephoned the owner and left a voice message explaining the check-in email problem. After about an hour and a second voice message with no response, I sent a text message through the vrbo app. My second mistake was not sending a text message immediately in addition to the phone message. Soon after I texted, I received a message with the door code and an apology for the mixup. The owner replied: "Sorry for the delay!! I’m not sure why but we haven’t recieved any calls or emails on our end. I will email the directions again once more." The next day, I texted the owner through the vrbo app about some issues in the condo and finally got a reply more than 24 hours later. The owner apologized for the issues and said they would be addressed between bookings. I was expecting them to be addressed during our stay.

The location was great and the accomodations comfortable. Some of the fixtures have some quirks but it didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

Though the condo was small it was so well organized and laid out that it felt much bigger. Being that close to the ocean was wonderful especially sleeping to the sounds of the ocean.

You just couldn't have a more breathtaking view than the one here. While we did lots of touring around the island, each day began and ended with us staring at the ocean, sometimes late at night. The condo had everything we needed and was super comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again!

The views were beautiful and the area was convenient to shop or eat out. We fell asleep every night to ocean sounds it was a wonderful stay

Quiet and easy stay on edge of Kona activity

Perfect space for a couple, close to amenities and slightly removed fr the central bustle of shops and tourist attractions. Great location and we hope to return!

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was the perfect size for the two of us. The lanai was private.

Communication with the owner was timely and the overall experience was positive.

Great location and view

We loved our time in this unit. It was I. A great location and loved watching the waves and sunsets from the lanai. Wish we could have stayed longer! Will definitely consider this unit for next time.

Great location, great view. Near many restaurants. Watched sunset almost every night of our 7 day stay from lanai.

This place does not live up to the “Deluxe” in its heading. It is old, a bit run down, dark and dirty. We were very disappointed and regretful. We asked for a money back for the cleaning because it was not clean for us but we got no response. The bathroom fan/light had a short and flickered continuously and even would stop so we could not use it leaving the bathroom unusable for getting ready. Chens and dirt behind everything, even easily movable items. Many things didn’t work. Think carefully unless you don’t care about nice surroundings on vacation.

Wonderful condo

Beautiful condo. Very well maintained. The view is fantastic. Close to town, local beaches and a nice walking path. The ocean is right out your patio. Great place to stay!!

Absolutely loved this studio. Outstanding view, nicely decorated and well-furnished with nice touches. The lanai was perfect for lounging and dining, again that view! I highly recommend this place.

Whales and Sunsets!

A beautiful property with everything you could need. The views from the 4th floor balcony were amazing - we could look for whales (and there were many!) and watch the sunsets. Comfortable and convenient to Kailua as well as exploring the rest of the Big Island. This is an awesome place to stay.

Fantastic location, high quality place

A nice clean studio with everything you need. Outstanding location, with fabulous lanai - right on the ocean. We saw lots of whales in Feb 2022. The shower is terrific, bed very comfortable, parking is easy and shaded. Will stay here again

Bali Kai-Tastic

Exceptionally nice top floor condo on the ocean. Fully appointed kitchen was great for cooking breakfast. A short drive into Kona & a great launching point for most north & mid island activities. We’ll be back!
