TROPICAL ENVIRONMENT

Kauaʻi is known as the “Garden Isle” for its lush, tropical landscape—and that beautiful environment is also home to a variety of insects and other island wildlife. Even with regular professional cleaning and pest-control treatments, guests may occasionally encounter geckos, ants, mosquitoes, roaches, or other tropical insects during their stay.

Many classic Hawaiian properties also feature jalousie (louvered) windows, which are designed to allow the trade winds and natural airflow into the home rather than creating the completely sealed environment of a modern hotel or resort.

We take great care in maintaining and cleaning our properties, but the occasional presence of tropical insects is a natural part of island living and is not necessarily an indication of cleanliness or a lack of pest control.

Good property, clean, easy to access. Would prefer an air conditioning unit in the bedroom. It was very hot to sleep. The second bedroom was very comfortable. Overall we had a pleasant stay

The property was located in an ideal location, was well equipped with everything you need, & was very clean. I highly recommend this property, & the hosts are very responsive. You simply will not find a better value.

Great place and location! Clean, spacious, and with great amenities--having two bathrooms and a large parking lot (complimentary) was a plus! Very close to beaches like Poipu Beach, as well as to restaurants and shopping. Would stay again in this area/place if coming back to Kauai.

This is a beautiful property with a great view. We loved the location for our family of 4. The condo was well appointed. It was exactly as pictured. We loved the pool and used it a lot. My husband loved bird watching from the porch. The only negative was the A/C. It was great in the guest room because it’s a small room and you can close the door and it was fine in the living room. The master bedroom never got cool because the A/C unit is in the living room. I’m not sure if something could be added in the master? It is also a hike to get to the beach so we ended up driving. I would still really recommend this condo and we would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay

Great place to stay in kauai. We were able to enjoy sunrise from the bedroom every morning. Very clean and equipped all appliances to cook meals. Would definitely recommend it.

Loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The bedrooms are spacious and it was just enough room for everyone. The walk to look out at the ocean was beautiful.

Outdoor property was great. Inside, the condo was clean but dated. That was still acceptable but the wall of heat in the main bedroom and bathroom was completely not acceptable. Even with two fans, and the bedroom door open, the ac that was situated in the family room did not come close to reaching the bedroom and bathroom. This made getting ready for the day or going out for the evening very difficult. Especially when there was another couple we were sharing the unit with.The ac in the second bedroom worked well and kept that room nice and cool. Housekeeping was great and the VRBO host was awesome. Location was absolutely perfect. But for the cost of the week, without the owners putting a AC unit in the main bedroom, it was not worth it.

Kauai typically has cool trade winds that blow year round so with that window open room stays cool. I will see if any adjustments to the AC layout need to made. Mahalo nui lao
