This is a 1BR/1BA attached to a private home situated on Ridge Road (upper) with views of Red Hook Harbor, St John, Tortola and many smaller islands.

In 2004 this property was voted #1 for beautification and featured on a local TV channel.

We are located on the east end of St Thomas, near Red Hook in an area called Nazareth (like in the bible). The neighborhood is professional middle class, mostly quiet. Older community. Classic caribbean homesteads.

Nice Stay

We stayed 9 days. Everything was as described. We did not spend a lot of time at the house we used it as a base to Sleep, Shower eat breakfast. They are on a cistern system so we conserved water and power for the great owners. We felt safe and and had plenty of privacy. Secret Harbor Resort and Beech is up the street. We took walks there in the morning. The grocery store is up the street. Red Hook is approx. 3-4 miles up the road. Sapphire Beech is about 5-6 miles. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and everything we needed.

Perfect location for us just a 10 min walk to Secret Harbor and the Sunset grill. Red Hook was a 3 min drive. Nice view of Red Hook from the deck with a good breeze most of the time. Ceiling fans and 2 AC units worked great when needed. Ophelia was a pleasure to talk to and very responsive. Could use some upgrades to the furniture and kitchen.

Convenient with beautiful view

Ophelia was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The apartment was well equipped and the view of Red Hook and the bay was beautiful from the balcony. You can walk to Secret Harbour resort for the beach and restaurants, and cab rides were economical to other local destinations.

Tony was great. Super helpful and friendly. I felt completely safe here. Place was clean. Convenient location for what I wanted. It’s not right on the beach, but you can walk to it. Can also walk to red hook. I would def stay agaib

It is located relatively close to Red Hook shopping district. It has a very nice view of the bay. Completely stocked with appliances (even a juicer!). Wi-fi, air conditioned. It is an older property that hasn't been updated.

Great location on East End of St Thomas - perfect for remote working with a view

The apartment is located on a hill and overlooks Redhook and the Harbor. Great views and the place easily catches the breeze, which meant didn't need to use AC at all. Redhook is about a mile away, easy walk, but there are no sidewalks. The walks were great, one gets a workout as the island is very hilly. Ophelia was easily available for any issues, which there were none. She was even kind enough to offer a ride to the grocery store to stock up as I didn't rent a car. Very clean place and a functional kitchen. I was remote working and had no issues with the wifi. A chicken family comes to visit every morning and evening, the rooster was essentially my alarm clock during the stay. I would stay here again. Lovely space, quiet neighborhood, easy walk to grocery store, Redhook, Secret Harbor, Scott Beach, and the Ferry. Anywhere else is an easy taxi ride away or Safari Taxi-bus.

Happy in Red Hook

This is a nice apartment in a lovely home set in the tropics. If you have a rental car, this will be a perfect base for the eastern part of St Thomas. There are lovely vistas from the balcony and the house has grounds with banana trees and tropical flowers. When I was in a personal bind, the owner’s son helped me out and we became friends. I would stay here again.

Peace and quiet and a great view of Red Hook

Nice little apartment within walking distance to Secret Cove and Red Hook. Just what we needed after a rough start to our trip.

Several places are about the same price, but due to the recovery workers options are limited

Tony was very helpful and the unit served it's purpose for our needs. No bells or whistles it was simply adequate .

Great location and price

I had an excellent stay at this house. The owner's could not be nicer and were very easy to deal with. On my first day they even drove me to the supermarket so I could pick up a few things. I mainly used this as a base of operations to explore the other Virgin Islands. For that purpose, this place was perfect. It is a short 10 minute walk to the Red Hook ferry and to the bars and restaurants of the Red Hook area. There is also a beautiful beach in Nazareth Bay that is an easy 5 minute walk the opposite way. As for the apartment, everything was as advertised in the pictures. It is a spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony that has an picturesque view of the Red Hook Bay and beyond to St John. I really don't have any complaints with the place. If you are looking to be pampered in the lap of luxury, this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for an inexpensive, clean, safe, and convenient place to enjoy this beautiful area, it is perfect.

This property was chosen because of it's proximity to St John where much of my family and youthful memories reside. But, you know you always have to give a little distance from those you love.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

You're within walking distance of Red Hook which has a lot of bar/restaurants, gaming (slots), grocery, pharmacy, marina (charter private boats, captain school), and the ferry to St John and the BVI (passport).

Best of all, Secret Harbor Resort is a 10 min walk away. The beach is beautiful. There's Sunset Grill. Personally, I like to get a Sunset Burger, two Rum Punches, and then float.

If you want a more authentic island experience, we can guide you to some nice locations that aren't necessarily on the tourists path.
