Charming Cedar Lodge at Kashong Point on Seneca Lake w/NO stairs

Lakefront charming cottage w/ loft on Seneca Lake sleeps 2 guests.

The back private bedroom offers a queen bed. In addition, the Great Room offers a double bed.

All bedding and towels are provided. Owner lives nearby so any questions or concerns are easily answered. Full kitchen with full set of dishes, cookware, bar ware and linens.
43" smart/Roku TV with blu ray player. Netflix, Prime, YouTube TV provided. Soundbar that will connect to cell phone. WiFi code will be provided.

Mini Split AC/Heat to handle other conditions. The cottage stays cool even on hot summer days and nights.

There is parking for 2 cars behind the cottage and brown shed.

Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes it is the gateway to the wine, beer, cheese and ice cream trails. The cottage is ten minutes to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores. Outlet shopping and casino are a 20 minute drive.

Cedar Lodge was exactly what we were looking for. A cozy yet bright cottage with direct access to the lake. Darlene was wonderful and very responsive to any of our needs. We would absolutely rent again!

Annual girls trip

This has been our favorite property we have ever stayed at. The cottage reminds me of of my childhood spent at a lake in Quebec, Canada! It was so clean, quaint and perfect. We will definitley visit again!

Cozy cabin on the water

We enjoyed relaxing in the cozy cabin, coffee on the porch & chatting around the campfire. Every detail was thought of. It was a wonderful location.

Kashong memories

Location was great, right on lake. Place was perfect, clean, everything that was stated to be there was. Very quiet, private, would stay there again any time and would recommend to friends.

Wine trip

We throughly enjoyed staying at the Cedar Lodge. Well cared for property with a million dollar view. Loved sitting on the dock with our morning coffee or evening glass of wine. So many wineries close by to visit. Will certainly return to Cedar Lodge.

Just Perfect!

Excellent!

We had a great time at Cedar Lodge. The location is perfect for enjoying the Seneca lake Wine Trail and going into Geneva for nice restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and the back porch is great to have your morning coffee right by the water! We will definetely be back!

Great Place to Stay on The Lake

We purchased a weekend stay as a gift for my parents. They had never vacationed at VRBO property so they were a bit nervous about their stay. The owner was extremely kind and helpful throughout the process, even when we needed to reschedule. Thank you Darlene for your wonderful hospitality.

Beyond beautiful, the perfect getaway for a wine weekend

Right from the get-go, this place was fantastic. It was clean and it was cozy. The view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking and especially during the fall it's almost mesmerizing. The owner was more than helpful, it was the perfect place for a wine touring weekend and I hope this escape if but for only a week and I will be coming back to this!

Hidden Gem!

The pictures don't do this place justice. It's by many wineries and breweries. We liked staying at the lake and relaxing. A very quiet and peaceful vacation. Great restaurants in Geneva. The owner left a book with suggested places to visit.

Cozy cabin in a great location!!!

My husband and I loved the cabin!!! It was exactly as described. We liked that is was so close to the water, and had comfortable Adirondack chairs to enjoy the view. The location was close to grocery stores and tons of wineries. Great time and we will definitely be back!!! Thank you. 😊

Wicked relaxing

What a charming and rustic cottage! Close to so many wonderful places to visit and enjoy....yet quietly tucked away by the water’s edge. We couldn’t have wanted more for an extra long weekend to explore the area. We’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you, Darlene.

Exceeded our expectations!

This was a restful, relaxing, wonderful week! We enjoyed the lake, the bird life especially the hummingbirds coming close by, the Great Blue Heron standing on our dock and walking by us on the beach. It was a nice, quiet community and we enjoyed the lake immensely. The kitchen was well equipped, with MANY extras to enjoy that we were pleasantly surprised with. We loved our stay!

Cedar Lodge Vacation

The Cedar Lodge was just what we needed after a long stretch at home due to the pandemic. It was outfitted with everything we needed, and we cooked our dinner meals there every night for a week. We appreciated the paddle board, locale to stores, wineries, and even the local farmstand had pleasant offerings every day. Rustic feel with all the key amenities. Highly Recommend.

Great place for a nice getaway!

Such a cute cottage with many offerings. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room between the two beds downstairs (not including the couch pullout) and the 3 beds in the loft, and were very comfortable. RIGHT on the lake which is excellent. Great sunrise in the mornings and perfect for a fire in the firepit at night. Very peaceful and relaxing, yet just minutes away from the heart of Geneva and even closer to as many wineries as you want! I highly reccommend!

Lakeside retreat for Musselman Triathlon

This cozy cabin was wonderful! Very clean with a lot of thoughtful little touches throughout. Morning coffee on the porch watching the beautiful sunrise was our favorite part of our day! Darlene was friendly and easily contacted if needed. We wish we could have stayed longer! Driving in and out was a breeze and it’s a short flat walk from car to cabin. We will definitely stay here again and bring our kayaks next time!

This property has been owned by one family and I am the 3rd generation to own it. My grandfather cleared the land and built it in 1945. He picked each field stone that makes up the beautiful fireplace. This cottage is one of the last original cottages at Kashong Point. It is a quiet and relaxing location. The beach and front porch are the best places to relax with a book and/or a beverage. I live a 1/2 mile away so any questions or issues can be dealt with quickly.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Once you've picked up your groceries in Geneva from Wegman's there is no reason to leave unless you want to go and visit a winery, brewery or State Park. There is a gas station near by with a small grocery store for missed items.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Kashong Point has a private road which loops around and is a great place to walk, run or bike on. As you can tell by the pictures the land is very level and there are only a few steps to get in and out of the cottage. The There are 30+ pieces of property that make up Kashong Point. Kashong Creek borders one side of the Point and is a great place to hike to 3 picturesque waterfalls. There is a nature preserve near as well for some great walks.
