Lakefront Cottage on Seneca Lake in Geneva, New York - Finger Lakes

Lakefront vacation cottage with beautiful Seneca Lake as your backyard. Located in the picturesque Finger Lakes in Geneva. Stay here and visit award winning vineyards and breweries, access to incredible hiking, and of course, kayaking and other water sports on Seneca Lake. Wake up to serene sunrises and coffee on the dock and relax with a glass of wine while watching the moon rise from the deck. There is also a charming lakeside cabin to relax in after coming back from the lake or during the rain!

Close to Hobart and William Smith Colleges and the City of Geneva. Just a 35 minute drive to Watkins Glen. Note that the two twin beds are part of a trundle bed. Guests have access to 2 kayaks and 1 canoe (holds 2-3 people).

Geneva has a town ordinance of quiet time between 10pm and 7am. It is enforced.

All water activities are at your own risk and children should always be supervised near the water. Life jackets are available. Parking is available for 3 cars. Only park in the driveway (not the gravel--this is my neighbor's!). There is a train next to the road in front of the house. It only comes 1 to 2 times per day and never at night but should not be an issue.

While this property does not allow pets, this is not a pet free property. The owner has pets but the property is cleaned very well at all times.

Girls' Weekend

Four of us had the pleasure of staying here over this past weekend and we had a great time! The house was so cute and incredibly clean. We loved the dock and spent our mornings having coffee there. Great location! Couldnt recommend this listing more!!

Amazing vacation by lake Seneca

We had an amazing time at this lakefront property! Second year in a row for us vacationing in the lake house and we cannot wait to go back. The house was sparkling clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. There was plenty to do in the area (we loved visiting vineyards, Niagara Falls, and lake Ontario), making our stay both relaxing and fun. Laura is incredibly responsive and she made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!!

Quiet and Beautiful home

We loved the house. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The living room was cozy and the outdoor spaces were great too. Our sons loved escaping to the cabin. In addition to the close proximity to wineries and the town of Geneva, we loved that the home was within driving distance of a bunch of state parks with great hikes. The lake was quiet and peaceful.

Family week

Property was wonderful. Immaculate when we arrived. Enough room for 6 of us plus baby. Porch and deck provided lots of outdoor space to relax. Less than a 10 minute drive to charming Geneva which had lots of nice restaurants. Many wineries within 10 minutes as well.

Better than Advertized

When arriving, we walked around back and the pictures don't do justice to the setting. The deck off the house, the sitting area on the dock, it was all perfectly laid out and better than advertised. The inside of the house was just as great. I can not say good enough things about the cleanliness and condition of the property and furniture, as well as the stock of the kitchen items and toiletries at the property. Laura is an absolute pro at making her guests feel welcome and invited. We will definitely be coming back in the future for another great week at this wonderful house.

Girls weekend getaway

The house is perfect! The views are spectacular over the lake. The dock with a blanket and glass of wine was perfect on a crisp fall day. Laura has the house well appointed with amenities and it’s very clean. Spent the weekend with wonderful girlfriends for a moms weekend getaway. Location is perfect and house has all you need! Labor Day Weekend stay

We recently visited over Labor Day weekend. The house was exceptionally clean & well appointed. Laura is great host who goes above & beyond with small details to make the stay more enjoyable. We spent most of the weekend on the lake in kayaks and on the paddleboard we rented. Our kids, 14& 11, enjoyed it much more than they expected :) It was very relaxing to have our coffee on the dock each morning. We also enjoyed the firepit at night. We had a great stay & look forward to visiting again!

Great stay at a great house

The house was amazing, the view of the lake was breath taking! The house was so clean and had everything we needed for a great relaxing vacation. The kayaks, the fire pit the corn hole game and so much more! We would highly recommend this property right on beautiful Seneca Lake!

Perfect vacation

This was our first time at the Fingerlakes and it was just amazing. The house is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and had all we needed to relax and enjoy. The views on the lake are breathtaking. We loved having breakfast and lunch outdoors at the lake, and hanging out at the pier. Laura is an amazing host, very responsive and on top of every detail to ensure we had an amazing stay. A place where we would all love to go back!

Great property!

This cute little place was perfect for our family getaway to the Finger Lakes! The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen and other living spaces were perfect. Outside is amazing! A beautiful deck overlooks beautiful Seneca Lake. Down by the lake is a great fire pit with Adirondack chairs. The dock is great and was my favorite place, especially at night when I laid on it and stared out into the heavens. For someone who lives close to a major city, this is some top notch stargazing territory! I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again in the future.

Lovely 3 bedroom house on Seneca Lake

This is a lovely, well equipped house directly on Lake Seneca . It is immaculate and has a large deck as well as a cottage near the water. Kayaks and a canoe are included. Highly recommend this beautiful house.

Immaculate Lake Home

We loved our stay at the lake house! The view and location were perfect!! Every morning we enjoyed coffee and fishing from the dock. (Caught bullhead, bass, carp) There were all kinds of equipment like kayaks, canoe, outdoor games, etc. The house was super clean. The kitchen had everything you would need and more. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the fluffy towels. We also loved the beautiful decor! We could not have asked for a better place to stay while visiting NY. There are many wineries close by and we took a short drive to Naples to walk Grimes Glen and saw two waterfalls. It was a great vacation! Thank you so much to the owner for making her house open and comfortable. She goes above and beyond to insure a great stay!

Beautiful home and lakeside property

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The home is well-appointed, clean, and with modern amenities. Working with owner Laura was easy and she went the extra mile for us in notifying and sending a forgotten item to us after our stay. There was nothing to detract from our time on the lake other than the unexpectedly cool and rainy weather that greeted us, which of course can't be helped. A very nice house to "hunker down" in when necessary.

So so clean and neat!
