We had a wonderful stay at this Carlsbad beach cottage. The property was immaculate and very well maintained, and the host was welcoming and easy to communicate with.We really appreciated that it’s pet-friendly, and the location is hard to beat—just two blocks from Carlsbad State Beach. It made for a relaxing and convenient getaway. We would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful place! The yard war perfect for our dog and it was very secure. There were multiple potty bag stations available. The area was quiet and so relaxing

Simply the best Host. Always welcoming and flexible. The property is so well kept! So much room to spend time outside. We came at a crazy heat wave, record temperatures but it was comfy inside. This time I gave a 9 on cleanliness because I they forgot the refrigerator/freezer. I believe the HEAT probably was a factor. It was no big deal as there were supplies for everything and it took a quick 10 minutes. There are so many A factors including a surprise the place was ready early. That there are really zero negatives:) 3rd Visit, both my husband and I and our 2 tiny dogs love it!!!! So walkable and friendly and helpful locals wherever you go, especially Jim!!!!!!

Excellent house and location

The house was just as described in the listing but the yard stole the show. The location is one block from the beach and parking was very easy. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

We enjoyed staying at this bungalow right by the beach. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the host was very kind and accommodating. Close to lots of restaurants and in the center of the action. Thank you for a great stay.

Always A Great Stay!

My husband and I always enjoy staying here. Jim has created such a cool vibe to the cottage and outdoor yard space, that we love. The location is perfect to the beach and also into town. Can't wait for the next time!

Cozy Beach Cottage

Our favorite rental spot! We love the simplicity of the cottage and, our favorite, the outdoor aspect of this place! Jim is a great host and incredibly accommodating.

Wonderful peaceful spot w lots of cozy outdoor spaces

It was a wonderful cozy spot. Very private with cozy private outdoor spaces. Only a Short walk to the beach or to yummy restaurants. We’ll be back

Carlsbad’s secret tropical hideaway. The cottage is all you need for a beach vacation in Cali, but the backyard…holy smokes! Absolutely beautiful and private. I’m not sure who enjoyed the stay more us or our pup. The cottage is located perfectly, everything is walkable. Jim is a kind and gracious host to top it off.

Jim was great, he had great communication skills and made check in easy! We left LA early to avoid traffic and Jim allowed us to have an early check in at no cost. The property was well maintained and is a home away from home, great location next to shops, beach, and restaurant. Check-in and check out process was easy.
