Creekside Cottage is your spacious retreat to enjoy a relaxing getaway!

Spacious cottage, built in 2014, sleeps 14 guests on three levels. Wraparound deck and screened-in porch are the perfect place to enjoy the natural surroundings of the woods and stream. Large eat-in kitchen and a comfy great room with TV and a wall of windows overlooking scenic Fishing Creek. Lower level Tavern Room with TV and game area give groups plenty of space to enjoy. All four bedrooms have a queen-size bed. The den on the main level has a twin size pull-out bed. The lower level Tavern room has a twin daybed and a double pull-out bed. There are 3 rollaway cots available.
Fire pit overlooking the stream. Many trails are nearby for hiking, cycling, exploring and trail riding.

Second times a charm

This was our second time staying at Creekside Cottage. It's cozy and well-stocked, with plenty of space for our 3 families coming together to celebrate New Years Eve. We like the quiet location. It doesn't feel like a generic rental, it feels like a home. We played lots of board games and roasted smores in the firepit. I would recommend to families who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the creek and the horseback riders passing through.

Winter wonderland

This was our 2nd trip to Creekside Cottage, both times in January, both times with my extended family. We continue to appreciate the 1st floor master bedroom for our older parents (no stairs); the basement rec room for the kids; the well-appointed kitchen; and the marvelous view from the living room. Lots of snow on this trip, which the whole family enjoyed playing in and looking at from the warm interior. Great communication and support from the hosts. We'd definitely book again! Thank you for providing this great space for making memories!

One of the best rental we’ve ever had

The spot is calm and very clean. A lot of room and space inside and outside. Close enough to Lancaster city so it’s east to go and far enough so you can live some wilderness experience. We all loved it.

Cabin in the Woods

During Thanksgiving, we walked into a warm house and was greeted with a very well decorated home. Spacious and scenic and remote. My parents are in their 70s so the master bedroom was well placed on the main level. No steps involved. So much stuff to look at in the home. Nice big dining room table for thanksgiving dinner and nice living room for game night. I liked the handwritten notes in the welcome book and the family photos was a nice touch. Nice mix of modern and traditional 30 minute drive to Franklin and Marshall College , my alma mata and spaghetti pizza! 35 minute drive to Sight n Sound and Shady Maple wasn’t too far away. We enjoyed our stay.

Early Thanksgiving

Love the house. We were all very comfortable. There were just a few minor fixes needed, which I noted to you. The family is getting so big we may not be able to stay here again.

Beautiful cottage in lovely secluded location.

My mom sisters and aunt sister at the cottage for our annual girls getaway weekend and fell in love with the place. It was beautifully decorated, clean with plenty of room to spread out. The property is secluded while overlooking the creek and rolling hills and fields. Unfortunately we didn’t get the opportunity to use the fire pit, it it was in the perfect location in the back k of the property. It was an amazing setting and the fall colors were gorgeous.We plan to come back next year!!!

Family Time!

The property is very peaceful! The home is spacious and well thought out - air hockey was a great hit with the kids! This was our 2nd stay and the property is awesome - it is a scenic drive to Lancaster and surrounding areas. We enjoyed our stay and are trying to plan a return trip!

Great Country Hideaway

My family has stayed at Creekside Cottage for 3 years in a row and we plan to return. We love the location about 30 minutes from Sight & Sound Theatre but out in "the country" with a creek running through and a firepit to help enjoy the outdoor setting. The house is clean and roomy with a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of room for everyone. There is little traffic and we've enjoyed walking the lane to feed the horses. The hostess is great to work with and very responsive to any concerns.

Family wedding weekend

This was a second time stay and it did not disappoint . The location is perfect and serene with enough space to gather together inside and out. Host is very responsive. The property is welcoming and feels like home.

Plenty of room

We needed a large handicapped accessible house for 8 adults and 2 kids. This beautiful house fit the bill. Nice gathering space including a large kitchen table and an island with seating. The sleeping areas were spread out enough for privacy. It was well lit and had good climate control with central air, box fans and ceiling fans. It is a remote setting on a gravel road with a gravel driveway. It was extremely peaceful. You can see and hear the creek from the large wrap around back deck or screened in porch!

Annual summer family reunion with adult children

We had a wonderful time at Creekside Cottage in Drumore for our annual summer reunion. Our family members came from Indianapolis, Boston, and North Jersey. The cabin is beautiful, immaculate, peaceful and serene. It is very roomy and comfortable, and well stocked. All the rooms are beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the wrap-around deck, and multiple places to be alone and read books. The screened in upper porch was a beautiful place for dinners, as we were outside and able to hear all the multiple sounds of nature. We hiked at nearby parks and trails, and enjoyed the fire pit at night where we roasted marshmallows and reminisced far into the night. The property is filled with the beautiful and peaceful sounds of nature; crickets, varieties of birds, and the babbling brook below. There were no other human sounds. The surrounding area is filled with the charm of Amish countryside. It is neat and clean, with miles of beautiful fields of crops, horses, goats, and cows. This location gave us the opportunity to visit with our elderly Dad and Grandad who resides at a senior care facility in Lancaster. We brought him out to the cabin for a dinner, and he enjoyed it very much. My only regret is that we did not stay longer. I will reflect on the memories of this beautiful place for a long time, and hope to return sometime soon.

Great week at Creekside Cottage

Creekside Cottage is a beautiful cottage! We were in awe from the minute we walked in the door. Laura, the manager, was at the house to greet us. Our party of 11 all loved this house and very much enjoyed our stay. There are many rooms to hang out in and feel totally comfortable. The rooms were all beautifully decorated with pictures and interesting pieces. And I have to say, every time I walked in a room, I saw something I hadn't noticed before. I especially love the lighted up decorations on the ledge in the Great Room. There is so much to love about this house. There is a wrap-around porch and a screened in porch with plenty of seating. I could go on and on. There was also plenty to do inside the house. The younger ones put jigsaw puzzles together and played games. I managed to read a book from their selection of books. And, of course, TV for those who had favorite shows. Even though it was very hot this particular week, we did have a campfire a few nights. We appreciate that it is in a very rural area. The house was stocked with many amenities. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't there, aside from our food. Cleanliness of the property was top notch. There is so much good to say and to enjoy about Creekside Cottage. It is a great place for a family get-together. Thank you to the Wagner family.

NJ moms getaway

This is our 5th stay at creekside cottage, love love love this beautiful little hideaway. Carol is great and is always a text away if we need anything. If you like winery's there is 3 within 15-20mins away . If you want a great experience book you won’t regret it .

Another wonderful stay!!

We love this Creekside Cottage!! It is so peaceful with the creek and has plenty of space for our extended family. Carol is wonderful to coordinate with and we have a fantastic time every time we stay!!

Family Trip

We enjoyed our 3rd trip to the Cottage. We sat out by the fire pit, played knock hockey and visited the nearby horses. Great place for family time.

Christmas weekend with family

Booked hime for a chrostmas weekend with family. House was very clean and cozy. The parlor room was kids favorite. Nice secluded area with Amish/Lancaster attractions close by. Would definitely consider staying again.

Don Wagner - Southern Lancaster County has been my home for my entire life. I live 20 minutes away from Creekside Cottage and had been in the Real Estate business for many years. It has been my vision to create a place for guests to stay while visiting beautiful Southern Lancaster County.
***Sadly, Don Wagner passed away on March 27, 2023. He is dearly missed by family and friends.
The Hosts: Laura & Kara are the daughter & granddaughter of Don Wagner. We plan to continue the tradition of hospitality at Creekside Cottage.
